Great spot on the water with ample seating. Ladies watch your shoes, you'll walk on sand around the tables. Wait staff left a bit to be desired but we guessed they are more excited about the evening hour partygoers than the dinnertime crowd. Food was tasty - fish, burgers, salads alike.

Mostly good for the atmosphere food is very average

They wanted to charge me a cover $5 cover charge for both me and my husband when we weren't there for the band nor were we going to be seated anywhere near it. I was contemplating paying it, so I asked if they took debit and they said no it's cash only. How is a restaurant cash only? They may want to consider some other alternatives; like Venmo, square...something. I have no interest in going back. Never even had the opportunity to try their food.

Sunset Cove is a gold mine. 250+ seats and there service is excellent!

Great food and service. Docking can be difficult, because people come and don't leave when finished eating. Docking space is almost impossible to get on the weekends.

I am super picky about crabcakes and Sunset Cove has some of the best I've had. The atmosphere is great and our waitress inside was stellar.

Love the atmosphere here... closest you can get to the beach without actually being there. We all love watching the boats come in and the kids love to play in the sand. Food is good too.

This was my first time visiting Sunset Cove. They had a lighted boat show on the water. Even though it was a little chilly outside they did have a few places you could go indoors to eat and get warmed up even though it was a little chilly outside they did have a few places you could go indoors to eat and get warmed up. There were a lot of people there. They had sand on the ground around the outside bar to make you feel like you were at the beach. They also had an outdoor fire pit with an above-the-ground heater above it. I got a bowl of chili which was good but a little spicy. Overall, I had a good time.

Bad food, bad service. Bartender is rude, security is aggressive. Do not go here.

Great destination for lunch and drinks. People are always friendly and the food is good. Tiki bar is the place to sit.

Great view, great food, great atmosphere. Only gave a 4 because we couldnt find our waiter when it was time to go for about 40 min. I gave her a break because the place was packed. Other than that, this place was great. Wear sandals, there's lots of sand.

Love the feeling of my toes in the sand, while eating a yummy burger and awesome crispy fries with a view of the water. Didn't like a table of people near me using foul language. Service was quick, pleasant, and helpful. Overall, I will be back on a weekday lunch time.

Was extremely excited to bring my kids down to Sunset Cove from PA, 1 hour 15 min drive. Sat was a hot day, 98 degrees, and we looked forward to the outdoor atmosphere and trying a new place. When we got there, we walked past one bouncer at the beginning, and even asked him where we go, he was nice. While talking to hostess to be seated, a different bouncer came up and said my son was not allowed service because he had a tank top on. So you mean to tell me, at a casual beach themed outdoor dining area in 98 degrees, my son can't wear a tank top, yet every single female had on a tank top and all men had on shorts? That is absolutely insane. We drove all that was to be turned away. Sunset Cove lost out on a $150 sale plus a large tip. Lucky for The Crazy Tuna Bar. We went there instead, had a blast with amazing food & drinks. Sunset Cove lost a good customer and i will be sure to spread the word on the bad customer service to all my boating friends

We really enjoy coming here! The burgers are terrific, every time we go. Typically the tuna appetizer is fantastic, but this last trip it was fishy, too fishy. Regret eating it. Note I'm only rating for day, evening, couldn't care less about the late evening gig. The dock can get quite busy, but we enjoy coming by water, dinghy is easier then large boat.

Great beach atmosphere. Food was stellar! The pina coveladas and rumrunners were the proverbial cherry on top! We will be back!!!!!

Food and service is usually pretty good, nice views, gets pretty crowded though which can make the wait long and things can get a little rowdy sometimes.

Tonight was probably the worst all around experience I have had here.

It started with a 13 minute wait just to see a server. The rest of the dinner we saw the server one other time, and that was to FINALLY get drink refills. That only occurred after asking 2 other servers and a bus boy to get her.

I ordered the Tuesday special, which was prime rib. There was not enough salt, pepper, or other seasoning, that could have given the steak flavor. Just as bland as could be. The only plus was the Crabby Nachos. They were great!!

The name of the server, I am pretty sure, was not given to us. Probably a good thing since it would not be appropriate to out the server publicly by name. We showed more class than the server. She was tipped appropriately for the service. After we placed the cash on the table and walked away, we saw the server rush to the table faster than anytime during dinner. She then was not happy with the tip and made everyone in the restaurant know it. Then yelled at us across the parking lot. Very inappropriate and unprofessional.

This was clearly an off night for the restaurant and hopefully the next experience will be better.

One of my favorites places to eat. The staff was courteous and respectful of our personal space.. The cleaning and disinfecting protocols are one of the most important things at this place. As soon as the table is cleared out another person comes in and clean and disinfect the area. Then they wait a some time before placing customers on the areas recently cleaned.

Lively place with an immense amount of seating. Location couldn't be better for a quick swim or watercraft ride. Live music was a plus. Staff can be a little sparse depending on when you get there but they generally have all of their bases covered. If you go on a standard busy night expect a short wait. The food was in fact edible.

Shrimp tacos were off the hook. Mango salsa set it off.

Need to work through their covid rules a little better. Manager was however very fair and amenable when presented with a our problems.

This is a hidden gem to locals really. It s great place during the summer, you can sit on their outdoor deck and watch the kids play in the water

This was my very first visit. This restaurant came highly recommended, not sure why.

My experience today was overly priced food that tasted average to poor. Burger and fries 16.00, drinks watered down for about 10 bucks.

It was much, smaller than I thought and really no true beach.

I would say don't waste your money.....

It Was Excellent!!!! The Food Service & The Restaurant It Self Inside Out Is Beautiful! My Family And I All Ordered Something Different, And Shared Each Others Food. It Was Nothing We Didn't Like. Also The Adult Drinks Were Perfect. If I Could Give Them 10 Stars I Would. We All Will Be Going Back Again!!! If You Have Not Been There It's Really A Must Try!!!

Fun time. Good way to start the summer. But I am here in the summer and the hostess are not nice , as a matter of fact they are Bratts. I am not coming back. BTW. You get slammed with 18 % tip after 9 PM. Not cool. The food is nothing special. I do not recommend it in the summer too crowded. CAREFUL do not walk down the pier with your drink. You can't come back to shore. I had a brand new Orange Crush and I had to stay on the pier and drink the whole thing before they let me back on the premises. The bouncer did not tell me on the way out.

Absolutely love this place, but you def need to bring your entire savings with you to afford it.
