How do I report this company's fraud to the govern...

How do I report this company's fraud to the government? I got a letter saying if I didn't give them money for a bill with a company I never got service from they'll report me to credit rating bureaus. Very disturbing and appalling. Please post with a response if you know how I can report them.

P.S. has anyone victimized by this company spoken with a consumer class action attorney yet? I'd happily join the class.

This company claims I have a debt with them from AAA. Every time I ask for proof of debt, they say they will send it, but I never recieve anything. I spoke to AAA and everything is fine on their end. This company shouldn't exist! They work for Sprint trying to steal money from people in my specific case i had a 18 months contract with Sprint so i could keep the cellphones i used to pay almost $500 dollars a month. When the 18 months contract finished Sprint sent me to this sunrise saying that i owned over $2.000,00 to unlock the phones well the phones are mine and i don't want to unlock it shy should i pay all this money if my contract was 18 months so i could keep the phones. This Sunrise company they keep flagging and reporting as collection every week. Be careful this company has no moral, humanity and dignity.

This company FRAUDULENTLY deducted funds from my checking account, then had the audacity to use the defense "We didn't take any money", even though this is easily disproved by my checking account statement, and the letter I have from the bank where they credited my account, based on their fraud investigation.
Rather than attempt to lie and say I authorized the payment and provided my bank information, they took a rather feeble and unbelievable course of acting in simply denying facts which are easily provable in a court of law, as well as a court of common sense.
I have disputed successfully with my bank. I have filed a complaint with the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, and have disputed their feeble attempt to skirt the law with their denial of facts.
Now, I am in process of hiring an attorney. On top of the civil litigation which I am about to pummel them with, I am also going to make sure they are pursued criminally. They chose to steal from the wrong consumer, and I am not letting this go.

Continues to falsify caller id - finally spoke with someone who continued to call and hang up. Turns out, it is this company and they were even dialing the wrong number. So many calls and hang ups, only to learn that the spoof the id and I wasn't even the target. This spoofing practice is so annoying.

I work with Collections companies regularly as I work as a Billing Specialist and I have to say this company is probably one of the worst that I have ever come across. Dismissive, disrespectful and operates outside of basic billing laws.

I don't owe them money, they called me looking for someone else and then called me a liar when I told them that I wasn't the person that they were looking for. When I asked to speak with a supervisor to discus the flagrant disrespect demonstrated by the cold caller, Malissa whatever spoke over me several times, didn't address any of my concerns and pushed again for me to give out the personal information of my friend. Then hung up on me. I hope I hung up on her first! Very unprofessional and after a quick google search appears to be illegal.

As a FORMER EMPLOYEE OF THIS COMPANY, I learned the difference between people who want to pay their debt vs. professional debtors such as the people complaining on this post. This company is not a scam & has been in business for many, many years. There are many representatives at this company that actually care about helping people becoming debt free, but you have to want that for yourself. Coming on here and complaining about the security questions asked TO PROTECT YOUR PRIVACY & the various numbers used to GET YOUR ATTENTION is ridiculous. Especially when you know you were a customer of the client we re calling about. This company offers so many options to avoid collections activity such as credit reporting, litigations etc. but you can t take your sweet time stalling & even worse, LYING about owing money that is placed in the system. Don t get me wrong, big companies come with a lot of confusion & error when doing their billing, but why not let us help you resolve it? This company is here to help even when you decide you do not feel you owe the debt or have been a victim of fraud. I can t even tell you how many people have called in to THANK agents for informing them of the debt & taking strides to help resolve it. To Everyone on here claiming the company is a scam , the security questions are too personal , the agents are rude ... understand that the attitude of the agent who takes your call comes from your history of being in the office & the flow of the call. Stop stalling, hanging up & making it seem as if this company is the problem & just PAY YOUR BILL. You re even given the option to pay the original creditor before you re placed with this company so by the time your account is in the system, it has already been 3-6 months since you haven t paid/ignored the bill sent from the original creditor. Avoid the negativity associated with collections and just be honest & communicate with the reps that call. It ll only result in No calls, no credit reporting, no worries.

It s defantily not a scam. I used to work for this company. Over 7 years actuly. They train there collectors well. And yes I m sure you have gotten some bad calls. But thats from everywhere. I had a bad call from pepboys and it was a manger calling in to speak to me about an employee that I made a complaint about. The manager that called in ended up being way worse then the employee I left a review about lol. But to each it s own. I just see that a lot of you are yelling scam. I had someone call about a credit card account which i had already resolved and closed. Now people pretend to be from the police dept and say you have a fine or warrant and you need to make payments. Don't trust just anybody on the phone. People are selling your info to lowlifes like these.

All of these one star reviews are from people who obviously do not care about their credit or don t have the money to pay their debts. Customer service is very helpful, and these collections are well trained. When a collection agency calls you, most of the time, you re not going to recognize the name of the company until they call you! So instead of saying you don t have an account with Sunrise, listen and verify the information! They ask for your date of birth for verification, they don t ask for your full social or anything that would make me think OMG SCAM . How many people are born on the same day as you? Anyway, great company, very helpful. Thank you.

I recorded the call and know I have myself a Naildovin soundboard to use on them if they call again. Thanks for sounding so unprofessional and making a joke out of your company. He also broke several laws under HIPPA and my attorney was notified! I'll take my 3000 bucks now!

I did not mind paying them my $360 in FULL because they spoke to me like a respectable human being ! They didn't harrass me like the reps at sunrise, I still cant believe that Jayne Wright heard her rep harrass me for an hour telling me how to handle my finances and have the nerve to tell me that she didn't hear him tell me anything wrong. Which tells me even the managers know the reps are being out right rude and disrespectful.

Just because you owe money doesn't mean anyone has the right to treat you a certain way. I chose not to pay them so they closed my account and it got sent to Southwest. Thank God!

But sunrise keep on calling trying to collect a payment on a mysterious account, because every time I called optimum regarding any balance on my account they would say what balance, optimum kept telling me, my account was closed and there was no outstanding balance due, yet sunrise kept asking to pay a balance due under my name, the last thing I wanted was to have a collection debt on my credit report, which I ve been working on very hard, I was getting frustrated, what a headache, finally after going back and forth and getting nowhere,I called sunrise and spoke to a female who specialized on optimum accounts, and after been on the phone with her for about 20 minutes she realized some how my name and phone number got mix up, and she said my name and number were going to be removed from the calling list, I was like now what, she said that was all, that I wasn t going to get more calls regarding that outstanding balance....

This company did not send any mail or call at all but I had received 3 notices within 1 week on my credit report saying an account had been sent to collections. I had to call them and ask what this was about, they would not give any info out even after I gave them my info verifying who I was which I told them I was hesitant to do. This is a predatory collections company and they should be ashamed of how they conduct business. A majority of their payroll is in a call center and they will spam call you non stop, hang up on you just to report you to collections further diminishing your credit. After the three notices I got another 2 in one single day on my credit report saying they reported the account to collections. All for a simple 200$ that was owed to AT&T. I just wanted to verify with AT&T that I had owed money and AT&T confirmed that when my account was closed a balance was left over, I asked them why this was not brought up so I could pay before they contacted a collections agency. AT&T response is it will not show until after the closing of the account (AT&T obviously has a flawed process). To use this company and this company have the CEO's picture saying they conduct themselves in a professional manner is absurd. This is a sick and twisted company that should be put out of business with each employee working their held accountable for how they treat people they are trying to collect from. The founder husband and wife combo obviously gave 0 ZERO training to their kids and let them run this company into the ground. The mother is probably turning over in her grave watching how this company spam calls people to get any payment they can. Worst business practice ever, they will even wait or just flat out not send the payment info to the credit bureaus forcing you to call back and do it yourself getting a letter showing you paid the account off.

zero stars. i received a collection notice on behalf of my cable provider, despite my account having a $0.00 balance. i called sunrise credit services to request proof of this balance, and the agent i was speaking with was SO DISRESPECTFUL. NOT HELPFUL AT ALL! i ended up calling the cable company and working it out with them directly. SCC seems fraudulent, and at the very least...TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE

The rep on the phone refused to tell me what the nature of the call was except to say "a private business matter" and she refused to discuss it further unless I gave her my home address and last 4 digits of my social security #. When I told her I wouldn't give either of those unless she told me the nature of the call she promptly hung up.

I paid online and left a message asking them to remove the account from my credit report. They did within a couple of days which I thought was great. Nothing to complain about here.
