Went to a wedding reception held in the Rehearsal Hall. The hall was well decorated. The reception was catered by Sundance, the food served was delicious and the workers helping with it were courteous and professional.

85 bucks for old and slow lifts. Llift lines with 45 min wait time and the only fast lift is broken. I guess that's my last time here. In addition they sell these VIP lift tickets, for $ 125 on top of your season pass, you get unlimited line cutting, I tell you there are too many of them. You are better off paying $30-40 more and go to a modern ski resort where you get some skiing time in.

A really beautiful, charming and small place for skiing. We didn't like that the lifts were so slow. Fantastic skii school. They helped my child to build his confidence. The beginner area is just a bit difficult to access . You have to climb the mountain a bit and with the children + skii stuff only to go to the area where beginners can practice is tiring! The begginers area is not ideal but not too bad either. The restaurant in the lodges are so good. We enjoyed the hot chocolate and especially the lollipops with the wooden stick (yum!) once the children finished with skii lessons!

My husband loved the night skiing there.

My fiance and I went to the resort to take our engagement photos. The staff on site were very rude and intrusive. They targeted us directly when we were taking photos while there were at least 20 other groups taking photos. They were saying we needed a pass for the photos. We asked other groups if they had passes and they did not nor were they bothered by the staff. There is not one sign saying this on the property. I also went onto their main site and there was no mention of the fee for photos. They could not tell me where it said we needed a pass. Get your act together if you are going to enforce a ridiculous policy! The sites were amazing but everything was ruined by the staff. It's sad that such a beautiful place is ruined by such ugly people. Even when we stopped with the photo shoot they followed us around the park and were on the bridge of harrassment. We will not be going back because of this.

Enjoyed our stay and would recommend with some notes. The chair lift had issues and so we missed out on that experience. I would also encourage an upgrade in room A/C controls. The Tree Room restaurant is absolutely one of the best restaurants though.

Service is top quality, especially the shuttle drivers!! Rooms need bit of touch up. Lighting very minimal, couldn't see in my suitcase unless I brought it to bathroom area. Rustic is good. Rustic with impeccable attention to detail is best.

It is a nice place but some of the employees are real jerks. They need to learn about customer service. The kids at the ski lifts need to learn how to talk to people. Not everyone that comes to ski is a professional

I'm sorry to say that the food was subpar. They offered basic foods with their own twists on the flavor. It didn't work.
The mushrooms were over wilted and slimey. The chicken dry and the carrot torte was not tasty. The ravioli way undercooked. The hamburger also was dry.
The creme brulee was of a pudding consistency and not tasty.
I must also say that the bread was excellent as well as the Apple pie.
With all this said I believe the whole menu needs a good shaking up and maybe even drop the prices for such basic foods. Try making all items like home made. It's a rustic restaurant. Let the food match the atmosphere.

The Bearclaw zip line tour with accompanying ski lifts was a singular blast!! All the vista views along the way were 'to die for'!! Felt very comfortable and safe with all the staff who prepped each run...there were 4...with the last going 65 mph right above some trees...the BEST!! Didn't have a chance to experience all that Sundance has to offer with regard to accommodations, cuisine, biking, hiking, etc., but if this is any indication, the rest ought to be just as excellent in experience!!

We went for the full moon lift ride. The ride was very fun and wonderful. Unfortunately it took 2 hours to wait for our ride. The lines went very slow and the most annoying part was that it was very unclear which line we needed to be in. The different lines (prepaid, season pass holder, and ticket sales) were roped off for about 50 yards but the lines were much longer which means we, along with the people around us, didn't know which line we had to be in. It seemed a little chaotic and maybe they just had way more people come than they expected. Two hours was pretty long to wait for a lift ride!

We love Sundance! It is a smaller resort, but the skiing is great. Trails are fun, and the back mountain has plenty to keep even the best skiers busy. Did I mention night skiing. They do that too.

While the food was good, I was moved from room to room for problems with the original room. The movement which they offered came with an uncharged of which I was not advised. And I spent the rest of my stay fighting with them over it. I left early and have little desire to return. The lovely trees and food did not make up for their lack of communication and service.

The staff were friendly and the skiing was great. I'm pretty new to skiing and staff on the mountain were very willing to assist anyone who appeared to be having a hard time. I'd also highly recommend the owl bar, the food is great and the environment is very cozy.

I skied Sundance for the first time today doing research for a ski club for a potential club trip. When I was loading the Red's Lift chair about 10 am, I had to jump out of the way because the 2 lift operators had failed to clean about 8" of snow across the entire back and seat of the chair. If you are too lazy or undisciplined to sweep the chairs at opening, at least sweep the chair prior to loading!
There was both a guy and girl there and a broom. But their conversation seemed more important to them than visitor experience or visitor safety. In 49 years and thousands of days skiing, this has never happened to me. Their negligence clearly endangered my safety because I would not have been able to sit in a safe place on the chair. I will have to recommend our ski club not book a week at Sundance next year.
