Great resort and friendly staff. Instructors are very cute with children.

My wife & I love it here! We stay here for the New Year's holiday every year; hit the spa, enjoy dinner at the Tree Room & relax in our peaceful room for goal setting. Nothing better.
Excellent to go with your partner, and disconnect from the world, there are beautiful landscapes and very quiet
I really love coming up here. Food was great got a burger at the Grill this time also appetizer of brussel sprouts are very good highly recommend.
Beautiful place. Wish I could have done more stuff there.
Sundance Mountain resort was a wonderful experience. We went up for the opening night of Oklahoma and enjoyed a little shopping wonderful dinner and a great baked goods snack bar. There are also day activities like zip lines and hiking.
From start to finish here is what to expect.
- drive up is simple, you are directed the whole way. There are three parking areas they direct you upwards as each fills and you take a shuttle to the venue location. The waits typically not long getting into the venue from your parking lot.
- When you arrive you can visit a few of the shops that include a little food restaurant, Sundance shop and a casual spot to eat. You board a tractor trailer that takes you up a hill to the play.
- The play is located on a steep mountain side and accommodates seating on wood benches that have a very rough back, these seats are assigned. I recommend bringing a small seat bench you can pick up at Costco as the seating isn t that comfortable without it.
- There is also seating on the grass hill that is first come first serve it fills very quickly and the spots are not large and are most comfortable for a group of 4-5, the ticket you buy designates where you will sit.
- After the show, you need to get to your car. You can hike depending on where you are parked or you can try and get on the transport provided. It will take 2x as long waiting for their transport or you can hike a steep steep mountainside and get to the upper and middle parking. I recommend hiking if you are in shape.
We attended a baby shower at the resort. There was live music playing a few feet from our event, and a pond filled with trout within walking distance. It was a great atmosphere for the adults and children in our party. Also, we were unaware that food wasn't allowed but no one said anything about our desserts.
The zip line at Sundance is a must try. Skiing with the family in the winter is a great time.
Lifts are really slow, but hike to Stewart falls was fun.
Sundance has beautiful scenery, fun things to do, and some of the best food in the state. Great skiing in the winter, and hiking, mountain biking, or just relaxing in the summer. One of my family's favorite places to unwind and shift gears. Great vibe here. And the Sunday brunch is heavenly. The bar and grill is fantastic, and the sandwiches at the deli are the best I have had anywhere.
It's a great place to take visiting friends and family to show off the beauty and cuisine of Utah. Love this place!
The staff were very friendly, and we got a great deal. Overall great experience!
I only went up there for the ziplining and this is an awesome and fun experience for anyone looking to have fun with a group and or friends
We went for just a drive up the canyon, a drink, and the scenery. It is beautiful and calm. I love going here!
Attended a wonderful play at Sundance. While the venue is difficult to reach, the staff did very well at providing shuttles to and from and were very nice and helpful.
Beautiful. The lift was the best 20$ I've ever spent
It was fun I like the seen scenery and zip ride to if I had the money to ride zip line we would up to the top of the mountain then back down the mountain
Just up there working roads were little slick could use work
Went on a ski trip to Sundance, checked out the resort. Clean, welcoming, I would stay there.
A short drive from Provo, a small ski resort with a limited number of challenging slopes. Beautiful setting, with shopping and eating, not to mention upscale lodging. Very friendly, helpful staff.
Only drawbacks were long lift lines, slow lifts, and a large number of people on each slope.
Lifts were quick without long lines. Hot chocolate at the cafe was surprisingly good.
Great place to ski, hike, bike, etc... Very close to Provo
.
All the people were very nice
Had a fantastic time at zipline, dinner ...and full moon lift
The food at the foundry was fantastic. Highly recommend the galette for dessert.
Great food and a great atmosphere located in the mountains of Utah. In the summer you can ride the ski lift to the top of the mountain. One of the most beautiful places on earth
I loved it. It's beautiful, the food is excellent, and the staff is extremely courteous.
Really pretty and rustic but elegant too. So cool to be outdoors and surrounded by beauty!
Such a beautiful place and fun atmosphere! The Halloween lift was awesome and the whole place is totally family friendly.
Sundance and the mountains are magnificent in its beauty. The service was top class. We were taken care of from the moment I contacted them for reservations a year ago! Our family will never forget the reunion we held there at a Sundance home rental. Worth it!
Great concert venue. I was a little confused on where to go and how to get up to the venue. Luckily my wife had been there before and was able to get us to the right spot.
Sundance Resort is my annual destination for a luxury winter vacation. Sometimes I think about going to Europe or Tahoe but then I call Sundance and as soon as I make the reservation I feel so happy. This resort is intimate and comforting. The staff is competent and provides efficient service. Sometimes you might be served by young adults and maybe they do not know everything you ask but they are not distracted, are always friendly and want to help. The food and service in both restaurants and the deli is exceptional. Even if you have the most popular meal (pepper steak) at the Tree Room or just a BLT from the deli the item will be delicious and the food is consistent. The menu items taste exactly as I remember them year after year. Consistency is something Sundance always delivers. In terms of skiing, the mountain is called small by some skiers but I don't agree. It is not crowded so you can explore many areas. It is comprised of great runs, not a bunch of connected catwalks, and the view is the most beautiful in the Park City area. For a post ski drink, The Owl Bar is very cool with fireplaces. The accomdations have genuine decor, balconies overlooking a river, and the details are carefully maintained. Well if you have read all this, thank you and I must close with this: Sundance is what I call a self sufficient resort. If you are a fussy, unfit person, this resort might be too dull for you or not achieve your level of service needs. If you like what I have noted, plus complimentary yoga, the chance to take a day off the slopes and snowshoe in the aspens and being in a true mountain setting, then you will find this location perfect.
Nice place. Might be a bit expensive, but accommodating and has great views.
Food wasn't bad at deli, but there was a long wait and limited seating
We ride up to Sundance on our motor cycle. It is always so nice and beautiful up there we love the atmosphere.
Rental equipment was in great condition, waxed when rented, and they offered boot assistance.
Runs were fun! We primarily stayed on blues and greens, but the black diamond run was true to grade. A little short but awesome.
Once again our concierge pointed us in the right direction when she recommended we gp for a hike at Sundance Resort! In her words, stop and get a sandwich at the deli and spend the $22 on the lift to ride up to the Stewart Falls Trail! It will be worth it . And was she ever right!!! We had lunch in the Grill rather than the deli, and may have had the most memorable grilled cheese of our life!! Then we rode the lift to the Stewart Falls trail and enjoyed the 3 mile hike back down the moi mountain.
Had Sunday brunch at the grill room bar and it was great
I set up a wedding event here and it's absolutely gorgeous! The location is breath taking right in the middle of the mountains. The staff is very cordial and you feel welcome.
Excellent ski school, it was our first time skiing (Mom, Dad, 3 teenages and two adult children). We had Lee as our instructor and he was awesome. We even saw him later in the day after our lesson and he gave us more pointers. It was a great day!
Awesome food and great service. Waitress didn't ever skip a beat, and was on top of everything
Great spot to teach people to ski. Really small mountain. Alot of wide open blues and greens. The only complaint I have it that alot of their blues feel like greens and their blacks feel like blues.
Staff is super kind and helpful, they carried our luggage from our car to our room up stairs and snow. If you want the feeling of being in a cabin getaway, there's no better place in Utah. Our room is somewhat older but that's the feeling of Sundance.
Great views and great food. The walking paths are a little narrow for the amount of people that walk around.
We were with a group of senior citizens who rode the chairlift to the top of the mountain and back down. Beautiful fall colors. Would recommend this trip to anyone
I've been a skiing here since I was in high school, for about 8 years. This is the closest resort to where I grew up (in Orem). I've really enjoyed it, even though it doesn't always have as good of snow as the other resorts around because this one is lower elevation. It's absolutely beautiful though, and the people who work here have always been super nice.
I just have to make a comment about their fire pit--it really sucks. You have to be one inch from the fire to even get a tiny bit warm. It looks pretty--but doesn't work well. Whatever happened to a good old fire that actually kept you warm and wasn't just for decoration?
Other than that--love this place. I've also come here for the farmers market in the fall. It's a fun atomosphere, usually was a blue grass type band and lots of vendors. Most of the stuff sold is higher end and expensive. It's not really a place you'd be able to buy any produce. Once one vendor happened to have peaches. They tasted awesome, but pricey. They do sell good food though! And they have horse rides. So overall a really fun atmosphere.
Fabulous food in the restaurant. Love the decor. Gift shop could be better. A fun time was had by all.
Spring skiing is awesome this year at Sundance! Gorgeous, blue sky day. Love the views, the happy employees, and there is a lot more snow than usual.
Great place for intermediate level mountain biking, not many jumps but great terrian for going fast.
We went for the fall colors, and took some family pictures in the beautiful red leaves.
We've been to Sundance Mountain Resort as day visitors during winter, but finally stayed one night as guests in a standard room in August 2020. We were given a special rate for military retirees (akin to the Utah resident rate) on top of what we thought was a reasonable summer rate. Included in our rate were two scenic lift tickets to use and we thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it. We dined at the Tree Room, the Deli, and the Foundry Grill. All were very good; service excellent. We did some light hiking, enjoyed the casual rustic elegance of the area and grounds, and I did the Bearclaw Ziptour which was an exhilarating experience! Highly recommend all of the above.
Just stopped by to walk around a little bit and enjoy the scenery. It was beautiful and peaceful.
Sundance is beautiful and amazing. The ski resort is really fun and close to where I live. Really well kept and everyone is friendly
It's a very pretty location! The customer service is great and the lifts up the mountain provide a gorgeous view!
Rooms are more like cabins spread out across a campus in the woods. Rustic with wood ceilings. Ours had a a full kitchen with all appliances. Nice linens and comfortable pillows.
Always a great place to go skiing! Love the quaint cabins they have and the good vibes! Great ski resort with good employees!
We loved the wonderful views, trails and BUTTERFLIES
Too the scenic lift ride and really enjoyed it. We take our clients from out of town here to give them a taste of the mountain.
Been here a number of times with my oldest daughter. It s the right size for beginners. Plenty of nice runs. They reallllllly need to invest in the facilities. This place must do very well financially and their one main lodge is dated and had obvious issues in a number of areas. The sidewalks are uneven and don t drain.

Fun trails in a beautiful location. I wish there were trails on more of the mountain. I was able to go down every trail other than the double black diamond trails in 3/4 of a day.
This resort is clean and crew knows their job. I come often and enjoy every time. The nachos at the bar are delicious!
My son and I went up there to walk around and be outdoors. The grounds are well taken care of and there are lots of walking trails. I love how naturalized the landscaping is. It's just beautiful.
Great location. Large variety on the menu. The two selections we had were ones we had never seen any place else. They were both excellent.
Limited access to hiking trails. Not exactly a family friendly environment.
In the gorgeous mountain setting, Sundance is a rustic, quiet resort with lots of fun activities and a terrific staff. Sundance has activities for you whether you're looking for something adventurous or if you want to bring out your artistic side.
Sundance is a dream. It feels quite pricey for me personally, but its luxury. The restaurants, available activities, hiking, zip lining, and beautiful views will keep you coming back - Sundance is really one of a kind! LOVE the Bluebird Concert Series in the summer especially.
It s not what will expect.
But you will love it in the end.
And depend on old good map and not GPS.
Well, we ended up driving and seeing more of spectacular scenery because of this.
I know why Mr. Redford fell in love with this area and is trying to preserve it.
Beautiful.
I enjoyed skiing this weekend given the current lack of snow. Parking was a little tight. The employees are very helpful and professional.
