Awesome place with super nice people and uncrowded slopes
This place is magic. Very unique. Plush and rustic at the same time. Great hiking and biking and eating. We will likely be making Sundance our anniversary tradition!
This was a fantastic location for our company leadership event! The environment was conducive to both fun and learning. Our only disappointment was that there was only one hiking trail open. The staff was fantastic about sharing some off site hiking locations and even loaning us a car for a few hours.
Great service. Amazing food. Brunch and dinner are both fantastic. Always good experiences.
We took our RV and had a blast mountain biking. The value of the lift ticket is great, I think we paid $30. The trails are unique and challenging. Some are actually dangerous because you're riding on a side of the mountain and there's literally an ultra-steep decline that goes on forever on one side. Gotta be careful! We had a 33 ft. motorhome and navigating the parking lot took a lot of 3-point turns. If you're in a big rig, try to get there early for easier maneuverability. The only thing that would be nice is if the lift was a high-speed quad. For sure, we'll be back when it warms up next year!
Very good food, if a little pricey. The atmosphere is wonderful and so are the staff.
Beautiful views, helpful concierge. Studio Room was tight for parents and two young kids, but it worked.
Owl bar is always a great atmosphere with friendly staff the frontier grill was a great experience food was amazing the filet was unbelievably tender and delish I would go every night if i could afford it. They have about amazing Moscow mule also.
Absolutely beautiful and peaceful! We were thankful they were dog friendly, and who knew there was so much to do!
We hadn't done our research and just knew it was somewhere we wanted to visit and hadn't yet. Being so close to home, I thought it would make a great Father's Day gift.
While pricey, the cabins/rooms were worth it! We LOVED our room as it didn't feel like a hotel/resort at all!
We ate at The Tree Room and The Foundry Grill. We liked the grill better. While we enjoyed the experience of The Tree Room, their food just wasn't up to par compared to some of our favorites in Park City, i.e., Riverhorse or Edge. It was just ok. Food definitely didn't come cheap and made quite a dent in our pocketbook!
I must say that the service was above and beyond any place we've ever stayed. Super helpful and friendly staff. The shuttles to and fro around the resort were a plus as there are lots of stairs and walking. You will get a workout!
My daughter and I are looking forward to returning this winter to ski!
I am a skier not a resort goer, and they don't put much into their mountain, but it's close and good enough to get my ski fix. Also the Owl Bar is cool enough
Beautiful location even for just a quick bathroom stop. Wish we had stayed the night or ridden the chair lift.
great location..wish they had more handicap parking
Cool place to visit. Usually go during the winter but summers are fun as well.
Thanksgiving food was incredible! Service was great as well!
The downhill mountain biking trails are a lot of fun.
Small mountain. Good trails close halfway through the day.
Sundance Utah is a great place to relax be and enjoy nature. Also zip line, Mountain bike
This place was really fun. We went and saw a play here in the theater and the play was great. The seat, not so much. My butt killed pretty much during most of the play. I felt bad because the play was really good but I couldn't pay much attention except to shift my butt weight so it didnt hurt so bad. They definitely keep it looking really nice and updated but at the same time kept it very rustic. Awesome place.
Great getaway for locals and tourists alike. Winter has skiing, fall and spring are great for hiking. Awesome food, lovely spaces for events and excursions.
Great ski resort, good to get away from the more crowded SLC resorts.
We just went to see all the stores and the mountain. I loved the homey feeling and the wood buildings. Makes me want to ski there!
I definitely want to check this place out during the winter. Beautiful gem hidden in the lesser visited side of the Salt Lake City mountain range. A beautiful drive from Park City.
We ate at the Foundry. It was amazing food and we loved sitting by the fire. Would highly recommend.
Liked the run Maverick, good groomers, trees a little more dense than I like for powder hunting but nice and close.
Ugh, lift is stopped more than it is going!! I edited this later in our vacation. Over the course of the weekend the lift was still slow! But the lifties are super nice. Also the bike shop crew were super helpful getting our bikes up and running. He lodging is super nice too. Good customer service, operations in need of improvement. I'll stay with a three for now.
We just went up for a couple hours to ride the ski lift to see the leaves changing and walk around and see what they all have going on its really beautiful up there
Beautiful location, great theater. I love the sounds of the river and the little waterfall, as well as the firepits that are lit as dusk falls.
The food was spectacular it was so good I almost fell asleep on the way home
This is an excellent resort for the cost, I've taught all my 4 kids how to snowboard here, love it!
Beautiful setting for dining, biking, zip lining, or sight seeing.
Delicious food in a very cool and beautiful setting.
Went snowboarding, and absolutely loved it. Everyone was very helpful
I ve been going here since I was 10 years old and I m forty now. It s so beautiful and the service is wonderful! I recommend this place to everyone!!
Great mountain!! Well maintained and no lift lines!
This is a beautiful resort in Utah. We were here for a wedding and it cant get better. The resort has cabins or rooms that can get expensive but are really worth the cost.
Went for the AMAZING Sunday Brunch and stayed for the views. Such a magical place where film and nature converge.
Took a quick break here while skiing with my 3 year old. Nice atmosphere, friendly staff, seems like a nice place to stay.
Sundance was amazing! Beautiful views and the hike to Stewart falls was the best especially when we took it a second time on horseback! Our cabin was cozy and we will definately be back!
Awesome resort ! Love the view.. Berth taken experience. Love to come back.! # Gonenow !!!
I always love to head up to Sundance Mountain Resort when I get stressed out with work or life in general. That place just does something for the soul. This visit I went up for the full moon lift ride and the experience was amazing. Not to expensive at all and you get to the top and look at the full moon...Breathtaking experience.
Great day on the slopes, even in March! Sundance is always a good time and can be much more affordable than other resorts. Just wish they had high speed lifts!
I love the Tram experience with my sweetie! We went the perfect time of year to really enjoy not just the view but the atmosphere.
Super groozy and narley Zipline. If you have the time and the guts it is well worth it.
Attended the full moon lift ride. The line was long but it was really enjoyable and would definitely recommend.
The slopes and the cafe were great! All the staff was very friendly and helpful! Had a wonderful time and would go again!
A quiet, perfect spot. Beautiful. Natural. Exquisite connection between nature and people. Just a wondrous place.
A great resort for the price. It's not as big as Park City, but it's also not as expensive. Getting a season pass is by far the best deal, it's so much more worth it. I love the resort.
Sundance is my home resort and I love it. It s a smaller ski resort which gives it a more personal feel. The food is great, the runs are great, and the people are great!
Went hiking up to Stewart Falls. Took the ski-lift up and walked the trails down. Area was fun to hike and wasn't very tough. There was a mountain biking trail I did not have time to do but it looked pretty nifty. Zip line looked fun (if not a little scary). It's a fun hike if you've got a few hours to spare. Head out early and bring some water and snacks.
I love the lift and want to be back for the bike trails.
Really pricey to ride the ski lifts, but we did it. Beautiful ride, too almost 45 min to get to the cabin at the top where we paid $3 each for Choco tacos. Amazing views and a peaceful ride. A few unprincipled, thoughtless idiots threw their water bottles off as we were going down, which explains why there were so many littering the floor on the way up. We took our 2 and 5 year old kids, they loved it but got a little bored, bring a simple toy. Hold onto your kids! It's just got the basic ski lift handle holding you in.
What an awesome resort. Great work Robert! Your staff and food are awesome.... Oh yeah skiing in the winter and mtn biking in the summer are amazing also!
Excellent amphitheater with an excellent atmosphere.
Sundance Mountain Resort, never again! I have never been treated more poorly by employees in my entire life. The first issue we had was it started raining right after we purchased our tickets, literally 5 minutes. Everyone in our party of three were soaked through in 15 minutes and the rain continued all day. Well NO rain checks, who does this? Sundance has changed there policies focused on the bottom line and not the customers who keep them in buisness. Secondly, trying to accommodate the wetness we thought we would take a couple hours and go home to dry our clothes seeing how we only lived 30 minutes away in Provo. We rented snowboards and could not fit the 3 of them into the small car we had that day so I thought to ask the rental store if they could hold them for a short time. Staff in the rental store laughed and said absolutely not, dude if we take them back we re going to rent them back out bro . Extremely rude and unprofessional to say the least, keep moving to Salt Lake or Park City.
Went to Sundance for a work conference. The scenery was great, the staff were all attentive and friendly. Overall a great place to hold an event.
We've been coming here for 13 years now. Love the people. Great skiing. 10/10 would recommend.
Didn't go there for the hotel but went there for the ski lift Halloween ride. It was really well done, albeit cold. Great for people of all ages!
I went to an outdoor play. It was fabulous. The staff was friendly and helpful. The food was too expensive, so we passed on it. Great time for my whole family.
Comfortable, quiet, and low-key with a classic setting.
