I recently attended Oklahoma at the outdoor theater in Sundance Mountain Resort. It's a very nice venue and I enjoyed my experience. The only Downfalls were expensive refreshments and there is a bit of hiking to get to it. Overall pretty good though.

Great resort to visit year round - for locals and visitors alike. We enjoy coming here and always bring our out of town guests here and they love it.
Winter is great for skiing, snowboarding, Nordic and snowshoe. Summer for hiking, biking, and zip lining. Great restaurants serve delicious food, one more high end and the other a more laid back cafe with yummy sandwiches, smoothies, coffee, desserts, root beer, etc. The cozy Owl bar for drinks. Weekend brunch is amazing Accommodation and spa on site. They offer art classes, jewelry making, pottery, soap making etc at the art studio out back. Area for conferences and weddings. Store selling clothing, jewelry, shoes, etc. Beautifully landscaped with a river running through the property. Fun fire pit to cozy around. Staff friendly and professional. If you're lucky you might catch a glimpse of Robert Redford too. We have several times. One of my favorite places.

We went to a concert in the amphitheater for a corporate event and thought it was wonderful. The ambiance is incredible up on the mountains and the walk to the location was beautiful. They did have shuttles for those who couldn't make the walk since it was uphill. The venue did seem a little dated, but not so much as to where it took from the experience. I love it at Sundance.

What kind of ski resort doesn t give out free maps and stickers, also their lift ticket in the summer to the top of the hill is 5 dollars less than snowbirds which takes you to the top of an 11,000 summit and starts higher than the top of Sundance s summit. I don t get this place the parking lot is also full in the summer and the whole thing is very very small. I was their in July when snowbird was still skiing and there was no snow on the hill anywhere. The do however have an amazing view of timp.

We had a delightfully relaxing stay in one of the private houses at the resort. The house was beautifully furnished, the cleaning service was great and the people everywhere at the resort couldn't have been nicer. We hiked, kayaked, enjoyed the resort's scrumptious brunch and generally felt away from it all. Drove to Orem, 15 minutes away, when we needed more food or a Dairy Queen fix. Loved it!

Have only been once but was well worth the time! Staff are friendly and often remember your name. Food is excellent and views are beautiful. Looking forward to another romantic long weekend coming up soon.

The accounting and billing a complete NIGHTMARE. Check-in for a $244 nights stay was followed by a $1,100 pending charge on my account. I later returned to the desk and asked if we could spend an extra night. I was told they would honor the $244 for the second night. Upon check another charge pending showed up on my account for $350. Multiple calls and they still cannot get this mess figured out. Never again!

Sundance is almost better in the summer. The resort offers many of the same options as other ski resorts in the off-season. Sundance stands out by being quick and easy to get too, while not lacking in quality of activities. The mountain biking and hiking trails are top notch and a blast. Just up the road the Timpanogos trailhead has multiple paths for a variety of skill levels. Sundance also has an amazing summer theater with entertaining plays all summer long.

My employees room was full of bugs, like full. When my employee complained to facilities they said that they would check it out while she was at dinner. When she went back to her room she found more dead bugs and this on her table. Not only that she couldn't check into her room until 5pm and my other employee got a call when we were at dinner that he could finally check into his room, it was after 6pm.....We wont be holding another event here. I'm sure it was a really nice place 25 years ago but they have let it slide into dismay and they don't care about the guest or their experience anymore.

Stunning environment & resort right in the mountains. Very romantic and we had our two dogs with us, which was also perfect for being in the outdoors. Fantastic service, everyone is very inviting and warm. It is also a beautiful drive around the resort/ getting up. Thank you for a great stay!

Everything is expensive at the base of the mountain. But if you take the lift to the top there is a great place to eat with a good beer selection that won't break the bank. Plus the view is amazing. Wear lots of sunscreen. Wear a hat and potentially clothes that cover you. Everyone got burned on the ski lift and I was wearing lots of sunscreen.. so bring more and reapply

It's a very nice ski resort I go quite often good for beginners and very friendly to locals such as myself. They have fun summer activities and keep the place quite presteen. It's a very nice experience as well as the restaurants are absolutely delicious. However, it is still a ski resort and pricing is quite high.

Sundance is fun. The best part is it's proximity to Utah County. There is some excellent terrain to ski and mountain bike. They need to upgrade their lifts to detachable quads that are faster, and their lodge/restaurants for skiers are small. The parking is ok. Their lights sometimes go out while night skiing (as they did tonight). The elevation is not as high as the ski resorts in the cottonwood canyons so the snow is usually not as good-- but sometimes it is excellent. However we do love to ski there and we have had a lot of good experiences there. Love this place despite it's flaws.

Grest resort for teaching kids how to ski. Beginner slopes are steep enough to move without being overly steep that kids wreak easily. It would be nice if they upgraded the tow rope to a newer"magic carpet" style transportation on the beginner slope.
Make sure to arrive early or you may not get a parking spot.

Favorite place to ski. Unlike any other resort. Rustic feel, great atmosphere. Smaller mountain, but still plenty of great snow and runs...and the limited parking means it's never overly crowded.

The brunch buffet was well done if you are just in the area. I have only done night skiing here so I can't comment on a majority of the runs. I can say that most of the runs open for night skiing are blues with one black available.

It's definitely the smallest ski resort around but it's incredibly convenient for those who live in Utah county. My biggest gripe is probably the slow lifts but everything else is great! Day pass is overpriced for what you get but the season pass is a steal for how cheap it is, as long as you buy it early.

Been hare many times in summer and winter. You can ski here for free on the rope pull any time. You can take your bike up the ski lift in the summer and ride down the hill. They have a great sandwich shop for a quick lunch.
Lots of hiking trails and an outdoor theater with plays in the summer.

My husband and I went for our 10 year anniversary. It was truly magical. From the starry night skiing, to sunny snow shoeing, from yummy cocktails in the Owl Bar to delicious steaks in the Foundry, from the cozy cabins to an amazing spa experience- it was all perfection. Rustic elegance with a homey feel in the most beautiful setting. We will be back. Soon!!

I've been skiing Sundance for 20 years and it's a beautiful resort. Compared to other resorts in Utah, it's on the smaller side, but if you're looking for majestic views then this is the place to go.

We have runned into the Foundry Grill restaurant almost by mistake. They were nice enough to accommodate us even tough it was a very busy Saturday night (right before Memorial Day) and we did not had a reservation. The food and the service were AMAZING! We will back for sure!

Had an amazing date night here. Ate at the tree room (I think that's what it's called), expensive but amazing food! And then went on the full moon lift ride. Super awesome date idea for a girlfriend or significant other!

If I could give negative stars I would, SECOND NIGHT IN A ROW THAT THE LIFTS ARE DOWN. I get that things happen, but to not post on your social media or website about it is absolutely unprofessional and beyond shady. This resort is just about as good as the sledding hill in your neighborhood. Don t waste your time or gas on this place, PC is just up the road and is actually worth a time of day.

Utah has a host of options when it comes to skiing. But Sundance is a unique destination. It exists to serve Utah's, not just tourists. It takes more options where to eat, but part of that is ideal.

The resort is a step away from the dreary urban. The air is noticeably cleaner and fresh, the scent of forest all around. Every corner you turn is another slice from some place out of our current reality. Streams and brooks are in abundance and I couldn't help but feel that I was surrounded by the truly majestic presence of an idyllic poem. I cannot recommend this resort enough.
