I bought my car from here, which was a pleasant experience. I have been here for a couple of services as well. But today, I took it in for a service, and when leaving, I noticed they had left a bit of trash in my car. What really got me was the fact that they had employees raising an American Flag while I was getting in my car, and it was being raised out of a TRASH BIN.
Everything was smooth at first and the guy helping me was Alex H. He held the car for me for a small payment which in my bank statement showed it was charged to Sundance. No problem right? Well last week Thursday I go to get ready to go test drive and pick up the car. Alex calls to inform me that it is being sent to the shop to fix some minor scratches on the vehicle. Alex tells me it will be ready Monday and asked if i could come in to get it Monday. I told him that I could not come in until Wednesday June 24th, 2020. When I try getting a hold of Alex he does not answer my calls. So then I proceed to call Sundance front desk and ask for Alex but get directed to Dave C. Dave tells me that Alex has been fired and that he would figure out where he left off and make sure I get in that car. Today June 25th, 2020 Dave says that the car is still not ready from the body shop and the bank hasn t gotten back to him. Even though Alex already told me I was approved last week. Later today Dave proceeds to tell me that the car has been sold. So now not only was I not informed that Alex had been fired, they sold a car that a paid to put a hold on. Also they now have ran my credit score TWICE through many banks. I would not recommend this dealership.
The staff went above and beyond my expectations to help me get into vehicle I wanted, and to get the financing approved. I am extremely grateful for all the time and effort they put into making this happen . I plan on coming back to Sundance for future purchases.
Didn't have the deal I could trade in my 2009 Acadia. Too Much loan deferential.

As a regular car buyer and mostly of Chevy/GM products, I had never used Sundance before and heard some negative comments about them! I live in Muskegon and had only ever used the GM lot there. The experience with Sundance and my salesperson was one of the best if not the best I have ever had!! I was able to do the entire deal over the phone (as I work in GR and live in Muskegon) and never once felt pressured to have to come in to get it done or take a vehicle I didn't want or pay for any add-ons I wasn't interested in!! Whatever negative press maybe out there about Sundance, I didn't experience anything close to it!! After this experience I will likely take all my business to them in the future!! Job well done Sundance!!

George Berry St. is a wonderful car salesman. He listened to what we were interested in and found us several good options. He let us take one home overnight for a longer test drive. He was friendly and we never felt pressured. When we returned few days later ready to buy, but still unsure of which one, he patiently helped us look more closely at details. When we made a choice, he guided us through the steps at our pace. He was always insightful, respectful and responsive. George was wonderful.
I highly recommend Cody pruden. Very effecient in getting me the exact vehicle and deal I was looking for. Very honest and will go the extra mile to get you taken care of.
I came in for the first free oil change. Will not be returning because of prior experiences. Sundance had my car for 2 days and 7 days and DID NOT resolve the problem with my radio.

They say one thing on the radio but as long as you got perfect credit yes they refused to work with poor credit think it is time to report them to the BBB for false advertising still waiting on a phone call guess they truly don't want anyones business
Troy Andrews at Sundance was AMAZING from start to finish! He listened to what I wanted and found me the perfect car in my price range. He was very patient with all my needs and wants and was always quick to respond to all my questions. He was super fun with my children during the process and made them laugh a lot. The price was fair and they even went the extra mile to fix a few small things. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. We are buying 2008 GMC truck from Sundance,Chad Decker and the Sundance crew have been awesome. We have had a couple hiccups but SUNDANCE has made it right from day 1. I cant THANK YOU ALL enough for get things takin care of for us,we will be return customers.
Had a repair job done in November 2017 paid the bill now all of a sudden I'm getting more bills in May of 2018 for something I've already paid for and there are saying I owe it..has any other people experienced this!!
I did come in and showed that I paid for my bill, but you wanted to insist that I still owe. Sorry on late update but in the summer of 2018 they tried to take us to court and they lost due to no proof. Always remember to keep any and all documents from any transportationor work that's done!!! Very sad that the big places do this...
Have never ventured onto the lot and based on the commercials during the evening news, never will.
My family and I visited the Sundance on Saginaw Highway and were very disappointed with the service (or lack thereof) that we received. When we walked in the door, even though we were standing 3 feet from Salesman Mike Parwey's desk, we weren't greeted. Instead, we stood awkwardly in the doorway for 2 minutes until we took it upon ourselves to interrupt Mike, who was on his cell phone.
Once we sat down at his desk we were surprised that not only did Mike say he had nothing to show us in our price range ($12,000), but he made zero attempt to suggest an alternative which we would have been open to. Mike seemed indignant when we proceeded to show him 3 vehicles that we had previously found and were interested in, within our price range, and on the lot from the Sundance website. He told us keys were not available for any of those vehicles and made no mention of if or when they might be.
It is very obvious that sales are booming at Sundance and our small budget is not worth Sundance's time. In the future we will take our business elsewhere and encourage others to do the same.
Stopped to see a previously owned truck that I did not know had been sold a couple of days before I got there. They said they were not sure the deal was going to go through so asked me if I wanted to put a hold on it for $100 just in case it did not sell. I declined. A few days later I was called and told the deal did not go through so I put a hold on it for $100 including sending a picture of my license to get the process started to purchase the vehicle. Over a period of 5 days, I called once a day, only to not have my call returned. It has been over a week now and no call, no $100 and I believe vehicle is still on web site. Found a better vehicle at another dealer.
Scam alert! So, I bought my car that was listed "clean" early in April of 2019. It was sugarcoated with their "friendly" service. After 1.5 years of ownership, I found out it was involved in an accident that has depreciation value of 2500$.
Their customer interaction is great until you buy the car, after that they will forget your name, number and email in a matter of a day. That might not be the case with the whole dealership but the the salesman I was hooked up with had this trait. I drove 160 miles to get the car and I was promised missing parts to be delivered that included tire repair kit and original pump. They never arrived even after several call and texts. After that I just let it go because It just felt embarrassing at that point.
None of my requests were fulfilled - I bought on the car same day of my arrival but it was sent to service center for side mirror replacement. The second time I went back (160 miles) to pick up my car, I asked them to get it cleaned because it was in a horrible condition and fully charge it since it was a plug-in hybrid so that I could test its EV system. Verbally the salesman promised but I got the car in the same messy condition and without charge even though they had their own charge-points installed. I waited 5 hours to charge it my self over there to test its battery range.
Lets talk about finance - its not "hassle-free" and and they gave 7.5% APR despite my good credit. I took the deal since I was planning on paying it under a year. Later I found out my credit was checked THREE times.
Verdict! Be careful. If you are not a car person, take your business else where.

I purchased my 2014 Silverado from Sundance and was satisfied with my purchasing experience thus the reason for a return visit. This time I went and asked for the sales manager so I could possibly use my previous rep but he no longer worked there. Ed (Sls Mgr) had a moment so he was kind enough to work with me until we had a purchase agreement worked out. This was a no pressure transaction and everything went smoothly. I would recommend both Sundance and Ed for any vehicle purchases you may have. Thanks

It was a rainy Saturday, we walk in and were greeted by Keith "Pink" Floyd. He took us all around their huge inventory inside an SUV so we stayed warm and dry. Looked at several vehicles and finally decided on one. Sailed through the rest of the transaction and we were on our way. They were pleasant, friendly and helpful. Kieth was a great salesman. I would buy from him again. You should too!
By far the best car buying experience I have had in a long time! Talked with Kendahl over the phone a few time before we came to the dealership. He started looking for what we wanted right away. He did not try to put us into something we didn't want. Thank you Kendahl for such a great experience!

Terrific service department at Sundance Chevy. Ron was extremely helpful and accommodating. An error light came on and I was leaving for vacation the next day. He made sure we got in that afternoon and fixed the issue and had time for an oil change. Thanks guys.
Went there to look at a dodge 1500 that was on their lot (so it said online) and got there to be told that they put that vehicle out there for a sales stand point and that they are looking for one that fits the description. Not happy to drive 45 minutes to find they don't have that truck or the other 2 that i wanted to look at. I think it is stupid to put something online that you don't have, I believe that is false advertising.
I went in to see if I could get a car. Not to buy!!! Just had some questions first person who came to me was a younger salesman who I asked to assist me with my inquiries.
When out of nowhere a manager named Troy comes up and starts yelling at the kid that im his customer, it was very unprofessional. He than proceeded to yell at someone on the phone about customers being his. While im not getting my questions answered. But just getting car after car pushed at me when I had told him what I wanted... I wouldn't buy a car from here and especially not from Manager Troy!!!
Brad was excellent. We walked in 5 mins before closing...we were "those people." But Brad came up with a smile and offered to help us get something going. We told Brad what we were looking for and he offered us several options and helped us narrow them down until we found the perfect car for our needs. We got everything we could around that night and made the deal. We left with the car, and came back in for paperwork. The whole process was easy and explained to us at every step. We appreciate everything Brad did for us to make it an excellent experience.
The sales staff was rude and incapable of answering simple questions. My wife met me there and she too was treated with hostility. I guess we ruined their day by expecting them to actually do their jobs. They kept trying to sell us a car we didn't want and didn't listen to our needs at all. This place is terrible and I can't recommend staying away from it enough
I take both my trucks there for service when they need the oil change because they are under warranty. Fast friendly service always! I can do the work myself for what they charge me. Thanks everyone for the great fast friendly service!

They sold me a car, and NOT EVEN 2 MONTHS LATER the motor seized up. With a blown head gasket and a bad timing chain.

The dealership was nice and it was clean as well. They gave us a good deal on our van. We did have a very long time to get everything done. We arrived at 9am and left at 6pm. There were plenty of options and choices to choose from with a huge inventory of cars. The owner came and introduced himself to us and let us know that if we needed anything to let him know and made sure we were being taken care of. Other than the wait time, I recommend Sundance for buying a car.

I will not got back. First bad experience was 2 years ago, and I gave them another try today. I walked away this time. The salesman just wants to sell you something you don't want. The salesman Don completely wasted 3 hours of my time. This place is full of false promises... I will never give them another chance.
Matt was a wonderful salesman. He made it feel as though he was buying the car going the extra mile on everything. We drove a few different ones before he found the one we liked the most. He even had it delivered to us because of the way our work schedule was. Recommend him to anyone buying a newer vehicle.
This was my first purchase at Sundance, and my experience was excellent. I don't think that happened by accident. Buying a car really involves a dealership team. I have to give credit to management for creating an environment where treating the customer right is actually valued.
Jess McNeilly was the lead person at Sundance for my purchase. She was patient, honest, helpful, friendly, and equally important were the things she wasn't: she wasn't pushy, wasn't manipulative, didn't try to B.S. me, didn't play the usual dealership games I pretty much expect when I go into a dealership. She respected my wishes. In other words, Jess was pretty much exactly the opposite of the people I dealt with at the other Chevy dealership I went to.
But my good experience didn't end with Jess. I was offered a good price for my trade-in (much better than the other Chevy dealership I went to offered). Sundance had the best inventory of new and used Chevy automobiles in town (despite what some other dealerships' advertisements claim), and Jess was very willing to do a dealer trade to get me the car I wanted if Sundance didn't already have it. Sundance's prices were good, and the prices they advertised were real, unlike some other dealerships in town. Sundance even has the best hours of any dealership around.
Buying a car should be exciting, but usually it turns into an awful chore because of the way most dealerships operate. Sundance was the exception for me. I won't hesitate to recommend Sundance, and Jess, to anyone that is in the market for a Chevy. And I won't hesitate to recommend a Chevy to anyone that is in the market for a car.

I did have some issues that seemed like they would never get resolved which I posted here. However, after meeting today with the general manager. I have confidence that all these issues with the car I purchased will be resolved quickly. They restored my confidence in them and I would buy from them again If these changes and repairs are taken care of. I will post more of an update either way.
Sundance had the inventory of new trucks we were looking for. Our salesman was very knowledgeable and knew what he was doing and what we wanted. The process went very well and we were in and out of there in a very timely manner. Go see Tim Eagen...great salesman!!
Troy Andrews. That's all you need to know. He will do all he can to get you into a great car at the right price for you. 2 are for him, but it's still Sundance and it always feels like Russian roulette buying a vehicle here. So if you're feeling gutsy, take a spin and pull the trigger.....

The sales attendant (Trish B.) was very friendly and accommodating. We went in with an idea of what we wanted and she worked with us to get us what we wanted at a price that worked with our budget. We never felt rushed or pressured into anything. We did our research before we went in and knew what we wanted and what we could afford. This was a new car lease and as such, my experiences may differ from others who are seeking a used vehicle.
Great car selection salesman George was great to work with the reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is cuz they have so many used cars they cant keep track of where the cars r on the lot and u got to search for them....

Last Saturday my boyfriend and I walked into Sundance having little to no idea what we were looking for. I had a budget and that s about it. We were directed to Lee and within a few hours, we were driving away with a beautiful 12 Impala LT. Lee found worked with us and found us an amazing car at an even better price. There was a very minor problem with a wheel bearing and Lee worked with us and the mechanic every step of the way to fix the issue. Needless to say, we will look to Lee for future car purchases! Huge thanks to Lee and Sundance for finding us the perfect vehicle.
If I could put zero stars I would. I had originally called asking what kind of trucks Sundance had on their lot. I was matched up with a salesman (I wont throw anyone under the bus) who seemed good and knowledgeable at first. he found me a black truck that he was trying to get me first dibs on, as my business partner and I are just starting our business. I was interested, and was told that it was a 2013 with 110,000 miles on it for $15,500. At this point I was very excited to have found such a great deal for a truck in such great condition. So I went through the credit application process and got approved! I quoted out Full coverage insurance as I was told it was necessary in order to finance. When on the phone with my insurance company I found out that the truck associated with the VIN that I was provided was a 2009. I was confused so I called Sundance to double check the year on the truck that we were talking about was indeed a 2013. Come to find out the insurance company was correct and it was a 2009. I was no longer interested in the truck as I had been misinformed and no one wanted to make sure I had the correct information. Not only was I very misinformed about the year but the sales rep that I was speaking with very obviously was using specific sales tactic to get me on the car lot so he could talk us into something that we were not interested in and honestly over priced. Luckily we did not fall for it and I had brains enough to do my own research before buying.
I have been here twice and both times they were extremely disorganized. I waited an hour and a half for the salesman to try and find keys to 4 different cars. He kept saying one minute and I will find the keys. He didn't even know if the cars were even there. As I was leaving he found a car that he said they just got in. It smelled of cat urine! This was the second time that they wasted my time by not knowing where a car was or even where the keys were. I will never be back and would strongly recommend going anywhere but here. They do not care about customers at all.

Emailed and inquired on a vehicle. Used car sales person Brad called me back the next day - He sent additional pictures that I requested. Made an offer on the car that was accepted. He offered to deliver the vehicle free of charge. It was delivered at the time he said it would be in the condition that he promised it would be. Very satisfied with my experience
I worked with Ryan Navin to buy a used VW beetle I saw online. I love the car and Ryan was very helpful with my trade-in and setting up my loaner. Very easy process and great service. Would highly recommend!
After a very sub par experience at another dealership in the area, Feldman, I turned to Sundance to see if they could help me. I expressed interest in the car I wanted online at night, and by 9am the next day Jason called me and we were setting up a time for me to come in and take a closer look. I told him that I didn't want to lease again and he actually listened to me unlike my other sales person at Feldman, and didn't even mention a lease which was very refreshing. We worked everything out and within 3 days I was into my perfect new car. Jason made everything very smooth and easy and kept in constant communication with me from start to finish, it was nice to see that someone actually cared about their customer and not just making a sale every 2 years with a lease.

They hid the damage to the car they sold me (painted over rust), lied about fixing it, then hung up on my elderly father when he called to inquire about the car on my behalf. Also, I was treated with condescension when I asked about the damage, I am assuming because I am a woman. Won't be buying from the good ol' boys at Sundance and would advise you don't either.

I had a salesman tell me I was approved and ready to pick my car up on a Friday, I texted him Monday to make sure I was approved. He came back and said "I think so, I'll double check" it was extremely unprofessional after that.
Drove up to look at a trans am listed on the website. It was sold at Christmas. It's January 6th.
Buyer beware! Was interested in the 2007 Dodge Daytona they currently have in their used car lot. Was told there was slight rust in the back of the vehicle and they would take care of it, called the dealership before I made the trip to pick it up and my sales person Chris F said it looked great and no rust! After driving 2 hours and payment ready, I checked over the vehicle and there was tons of rust coming through the doors and even the moon roof, inside interior was dirty, and the breaks were spongy! It was like the car never went through service when received from auction! They did mention they would fix all the rust and breaks, but they said it was fixed prior to me making the trip! Not trust worthy, and shady business practice. I do not recommend and will not go back!
Well Terry Hanks was being investigated for trying to sell Canadian Cars without Titles or the proper changing of Odometers and he was losing money so he started a fire so he can collect insurance money. I bet you the 20-30 cars that are damaged were ones he had a lot of money tied up into and the building I'm sure he extra insured it. He's been doing this for years, I remember when he took cars and buried them under a barn he built so he can collect the insurance money. Terry Hanks is a crook.
Great car, 2009 Cadillac CTS. Great price, Great service. Smooth transaction. Brent delivered as promised, They even covered my travel expenses to get there. Can't find anything wrong to say. This dealership is so crazy busy, the staff has an impossible time getting the details right. My husband and I bought a brand new truck from them 2 weeks ago and are still trying to get our 2nd ignition key after multiple tries. It has been continuous frustration. One problem after another. You're better off sticking with a smaller reputable dealership.
Follow up to original review.....After the manager called us, we were able to get everything corrected.
On the day of our car purchase, we had a snowstorm, a glitch in financing, a difficult time communicating our needs to our insurance agent and a change of heart on the vehicle we were pre-approved for, When everything else went wrong that day, the staff at Sundance did not. They stood fast with us through the entire process till we found the vehicle that we loved, and all details for the purchase were correctly in place. Honesty and integrity are two words that accurately describe every single sales person that helped us that day.
Go to SUNDANCE! Ask for AJ. Tell him we sent ya'!

Lee Lickfelt was an amazing man to deal with! I was blessed to have met him as soon as I walked in the door. (All the salesman were very pleasant.)
