Suncadia Review

Just getting away with family daughter, husband and grandkids. Unbeknownst to me they wanted to review some additional real estate on the premises. They had previously put in a offer for another property and it was accepted, however they wanted to do some additional homework. They met with Nancy the in house agent again and reviewed the property with snow all around and some additional properties in various stages of completion. The agent conducted herself in a professional manner and was impressed with the number of years on site. All in all a great experience going forward as they reaffirmed there committment to there first choice in property to build. The getaway was nice diversion from the city, however conveniently close.

Anyone I have talked with at the Real Estate co. Is polite, cheerful, helpful and very knowledgeable.
Staying at the Lodge, is lovely, so relaxing, and beautiful. Great food in the Lodge and Swiftwater!

Susan works at the Suncadia Real Estate Office. She is one of the most unprofessional, inhospitable, unkind and unwelcoming people I have met. When you first meet her, she comes across as being helpful and friendly. Don't be fooled! The facade is temporary and her passive aggressive nature quickly reveals itself. She is not afraid to lie to your face and others to promote her cause.

We finished building our custom vacation home in Suncadia in November. We spent Christmas there and had some packages delivered to our home. Unfortunately, due to the mail system in Suncadia some of our packages ended up at the sales center. Jeff Rau and Angelina were very accommodating and helpful. Thank you!

Over the past 9 months when we were in Suncadia for weekends or holidays we occasionally had packages delivered. Unfortunately, Susan became very annoyed and asked that we send our packages to the lodge. I obliged and considered the matter closed.

We spent the month of July in Suncadia. My twins birthday was coming up so I shipped some packages to our home. Unfortunately, some of them ended up at the sales center (only full time residents are allowed to have a PO Box and sometimes Amazon contracts with USPS to deliver the packages).

Susan returned all of my twins birthday gifts to the senders. I was so upset! She didn't bother to communicate with me to let me know our current agreement wasn't working out. She simply returned my twins birthday gifts to the sender without a conversation.

When I called to talk to Susan, she was "busy" and wouldn't return my calls. I spoke with the manager at the lodge regarding the situation and Susan told her USPS had refused to deliver the packages. I called Cle Elum USPS and they said Susan refused the packages. I can handle unprofessional, unfriendly, unkind, inhospitable behavior but when someone lies to me it crosses a line. Did she think I wouldn't double check her story?

I spoke with Roger, Susan's boss and he apologized for her behavior and said the packages shouldn't have been returned. Roger was very professional and reassured us he would have a conversation with Susan to avoid a repeat incident with another homeowner.

I'm writing a review so that you can be fully aware of Susan's nature and behavior. Be careful, she can't be trusted.

The resort and accommodation are beautiful, but house keeping is terrible.

If you want a great agent and an honest guy, use Mark Rau. He is truly the best and knows it all up there.
