Received a voicemail requesting callback regarding a reference on a former employee. Tried for days to reach the number left in the voicemail, as well as calling other numbers for the agency. Left several voicemails, but cannot reach these people. A week later and still no contact. Now we find out that our former employee did not get the job -- such poor service for a staffing agency!

On September 19, 2017, I was in a car accident on the way to work. I was injured along with the parties behind me. I contacted my recruiter Colleen Sica to inform her that I was in a car accident via email. I called my current assignment supervisor and informed her that I was in a collision as well. I sat in the emergency room for a little over 6 hours waiting for test results etc. My car was picked up the night of the accident for repairs. On the morning of the 20th of September I was informed that at a minimum of 3 weeks for repairs. I contacted the insurers insurance to only find out that he did not have rental insurance or reimbursements. I, immediately contacted my recruiter to inform her that I would not be able to make it to work due to this but I would be returning to th area as soon as my vehicle is ready. In return, I received an email stating that a copy of the police report was needed to have the facility potentially release the contract. I, immediately sent this over. I was then told to follow up with her once I returned to the area because I do have a lease where I am required to keep for a certain amount of time. My insurance has personal injury insurance and of course I received notice that they would reimburse me for missed employment. I sent the form over to Colleen, who was incredibly nice until the week that I was not able to talk because she had an assignment not for from the assigned place of where my contract was, I informed her that I just lost a family member due to a murder but I assume that wasn t good enough and I could not think at the moment because my family of course is at a lost! Colleen followed up that morning and I did not respond. So, I finally responded to her a day later. She responded the job was closer and that was perfectly fine because I could not accept. I just wanted to do my due diligence and follow up. Then here is my turn to need her, I send the form over and was immediately informed that she wasn t sure if she could fill the form out within like 20 minutes or less for the benefit of doubt on time. She calls me back and says that they would only be signing for that one day. I m baffled. One day? If we are going to do it based on days that s perfectly fine but I was schedule for thr week. My schedule went out three days in a row. Tuesday-Thursday. The conversation was becoming unprofessional and down right rude. I, disconnected the call. Sent her an email explaining why I disconnected the call and she repeated to call my phone back to back. I saved the voice message where she is ringing my phone and typing very hard in the back ground where she sends over a 3 sentence message. This was on last week. I finally send her over a message on October 23, 2017 and today October 25th I received a call from Jen the one person who could never call me when my license was at stake because of elder abuse to a pt from a traveling tech. She never returned my call but today she calls to tell me I quit the assignment I informed her no where in my email does it say I quit/resigned/terminate etc. She begins to speak to me an adult as if I am her birthed into the world chile. I informed her that she will speak to me with respect and on a professional level. She implies respect goes on both sides. I m confused because I am trying to explain a situation. I said several times during the conversation that, the company could sign whatever they would like on the form, it did not matter to me. I just needed the form back to return. She implies, well I m just trying to understand.because you quit. I repeatedly ask her to stop implying that I quit but this she felt like gave her some sort of upper hand she snarled and continue to repeat it. I, in return informed her that this was very simple. Either A complete the form, B do not complete the form or C hear from my attorney. It is a simple task that I feel they wanted to create into something else. You have been warned future travelers. Sunbelt Staffing only care about the revenues you will incrue for them and can careless about your license/life.RUN

I came across this agency in a google search. When I called the number, the rude lady who I spoke with, interrupted me while I was explaining my experience she cut me off with an aggravated "SIR we only handle healthcare". I ended the call, "Sorry to have bothered you." Now had I known that in the google search I wouldn't of called. That being said, there was no reason for the poor attitude of this lady, who luckily didnt even give her name.

Avoid. Avoid. Avoid. I don t believe I have ever left a negative review, but it is warranted for this company. I had found an ad on their website for a LTC position, 36 hours per week, and inquired about it. I did receive a call back, but knew almost immediately that Brittany was being dishonest. I asked if they had any 12 hour shifts available, and she said they did not. When I brought up their ad, she said it was a mistake. Funny thing...they had SEVERAL ads for positions at the same facility each advertising different shifts/hours. When I told her that I was suspicious of what she was telling me, she became very snarky and said, It was a mistake. Don t you ever make a mistake? When I told her that yes, I do make mistakes but that these advertisements are, or should be, proofread many times over, she got very upset. I m thinking that maybe the agency gets more money for filling a 3-11, 40 hr/wk position? Also, they won t give you any information on pay until after you ve submitted references, resume , and have an interview. Now why would I, or any other nurse, want to invest time in doing all of these things, only to find out that the pay rate is not competitive??? By the end of the conversation, she basically hung up on me. Clearly, she could not handle the fact that I wasn t gullible enough to believe her.

I started my first job after moving to the Tampa area at Sunbelt Staffing as a recruiter, over 4 years ago. Although the job is challenging, it helped me to grow in ways I didn t realize I could. The work environment is the best, my coworkers were always great and supportive, and it seemed like there was always something fun going on - an event off site, or a contest with prizes. Work/life balance is encouraged here, and management is very down to earth. I have since found MY forever job in an HR role, but this job is a forever job for a good majority of people who work here and I can understand why. I wouldn t be where I am today without my career at Sunbelt and will forever be grateful for the time I spent with this company.

When using a staffing agency, you are getting into...

When using a staffing agency, you are getting into a financial agreement between the employer & the agency. I insisted I wanted to be involved with nothing with financial strings attached & that is exactly what happened. As a result, I will walk away with no permanent employment. This is better for applicants that want to float from assigment to assignment. I feel betrayed because I asked all of the right questions before signing. But it is not what you sign, it is what the employer signed off on which forbids you to work permanently for up to a year after your assignment ends. How horrible this is happening to people innocently looking for work. I am investigating how this is allowed to happen without my agreement. You are going to be placed in the middle. I did not seek this service out. My info was posted online through Monster job search for employers only & I was contacted against my will. I do not recommend this or any agency. Search for work yourself & stay safe! If you do not, you will find yourself starting at the bottom again, while employers move on & stamp you as "unhirable." Times have changed. The only person to watch your back is you!

I am not one to typically leave negative reviews, however, I feel that I need to share my experiences with Sunbelt Staffing to help others avoid wasting their time as well. In the last 2 months or so, I have been in communication with at least 5 different recruiters to secure a teletherapy position since moving out-of-state. In my short experience working with the recruiters at Sunbelt I have noticed the following:

1. Recruiters are terrible with getting back to candidates. I never had a recruiter answer their phone once when calling. It appears that they are always in meetings or so that is what I was told. They will schedule times to call but will only communicate with you if you initiate the call.

2. Recruiters take days to respond to voicemails and emails IF they even respond at all.

3. Recruiters provide little to no information regarding job postings. A typical response I have received is I will get back to you with more details, I m not sure if the job is still available or what the job entails .

4. Postings are never updated or must be fake. I have stumbled upon a plethora of postings that sparked my interest for one recruiter to say she d refer me to someone else about the posting, then for the referred recruiter to say that they are no longer available that same day. Postings are typically listed recently; I find it extremely hard to believe that these postings are being consistently filled within 48 to 72 hours.

Overall, it was a disappointing and incredibly frustrating experience. I was not impressed, and I will be seeking employment elsewhere.

Sunbelt Staffing is a fantastic place to work. They treat their internal and contracted employees well. In addition, they provide for staffing needs throughout the entire country, sometimes bringing service to kids who could NEVER recieve them otherwise! I have loved my time here so far, and could not have asked for a better place to work.

I've reached out to this company over the last 2 months seeking paperwork for school. Trying to go back to school, and I need documentation stating my length of employment. No one has ever returned my calls or responded via email.

Horrible on boarding processes. I ran away when I discovered the representatives have NO Clue how to on-board a medical professional. Submitted documents and required licensure 4-5 times to their Credentialing Specialist which were lost . The recruiter and her boss unsuccessfully tried to have me complete them again to save their commission - I declined.

Terrible Communication at this agency. They dont return calls or emails for days at a time. Im a healthcare technician and have worked with other agencies pretty smoothly in the past. I saw a listing they had for a 13 week assignment in CA which they told me was immediately hiring. I was offered an extension by the hospital I was still at for another 6 weeks. When I asked Abigail Durka (Recruiter) if everything was still going as planned with the new assignment she assured me it was through text, which I still have. So I declined the extension at my current hospital and began submitting paperwork only to be told a whole week later that the assignment was post-poned indefinitely! So now im unemployed and cannot get unemployment insurance because I technically voluntarily left my last assignment! If you knew the contract was up in the air why wouldnt you let me know the minute you found out?! Totally unprofessional. Do not let Abigail Durka be your recruiter!!!

Great staffing company to work for. This is my second school year with them as a school nurse. I had choices of schools and local cities around me to choose from. They go above & beyond to place you & help you.

As a therapist, I was way underpaid and when I wanted to go perm, they were completely inflexible with the buyout fee, resulting in me having to leave the job I loved for a year. The facility also decided to work with a different contracting company and that s when I discovered I would have been taking home $300 more a week had I completed my initial contract thorough a different company. Avoid Sunbelt at all costs.
