The food was delicious, the atmosphere warm and inviting.
If I had to complain, I'd note the waiter was distant considering they werent that busy.
The manager was extraordinary! I smile just thinking of him.
It was a brunch with friends. Great precautions were in place and quick seating. We had a 20-minute wait and we're called so we even got the shop the rest of the sun valley resort while we waited.
Arriving at the scene after 5 minutes in the contoir without anyone to receive you, I sat at a table with my daughter.
I ordered a coffee, chocolate and pastries, moreover far from being cheap (more than 7dol ok the little lemon pie) directly to the contoire for lack of staff.
Returning to my table a waitress came to inform us that we had to change places because the table was reserved.
I pointed out to him that no information mentioned it.
After having changed the table, and still not having started my coffee which is starting to get cold, a second waiter asked us to move to the common area in front of the bar, because the table where we placed the previous waitress was also reserved, but again not signaled by any writing.
So definitely a bar / restaurant that I strongly recommend for a deplorable level of service like never before.
Have the chicken soup! It is delicious! The grilled cheese with fig jam is so good as well. Huge pastry dessert selection and fantastic service
Sadly the service has gone downhill. Not only did they get our drinks wrong twice, but then one of our meals as well. Waiting 35 minutes for the wrong omelette isn t up to the SV standards we have always enjoyed
One of the best breakfasts I have had. Ordered the brandied strawberry crepes and LOVED them. Excellent service. Will definitely be returning.
It was so nice to get to go back to the Konditorei! The food is still excellent, our waitress, Mara, was spectacular and Flo's pastries were super yummy!
The food was quite good here and they have an awesome selection of baked goods, but they messed up our order on three separate occasions... It could have been caused by slack or just a fluke; I'd gladly give them a second chance given the quality of their food.
Edit: The second experience was significantly better. We once again ordered a warmed up cinnamon roll and once again didn't regret a bite of it.

2/20/2020 (11:30am) - The service was horrible, servers were rude and tables & floor not clean. We were waiting but no waiters aproched us, after several minutes we decided to take a table, and finally a waiter come to us to tell us that we needed to move to an other table because the table was reserved (I think selling pastries at $7 USD each, in average, the restaurant might invest in reservation paper sings to show that tables are reserved!). Then, we moved to an other table and same thing happened one more time, a second waiter came to ask us to move, for same reason (but at that time our coffees, hot chocolate, and pastries were already delivered to us, so, surprise again! We needed to wait standing up trying to find a spot). I don't recommend this place for it's bad service, a bad organization. You shouldn't take orders if you don't have enough spots for it's clients! Also, the place needs to be cleaned more often.
This place is incredible, and they're beautiful and delicious pastries were very reasonably priced.
Lovely espresso with flavor, made by staff that know how to make coffee as it should be made and unsurpassed range of freshly baked pastries. No place better in Ketchum. Wonderful atmosphere, newspapers to be read and great acoustics.
Great food, beautiful setting, good service. Classic reuben was perfect, nutella waffles were perfect and rosti (potatoes,bacon and egg) was delicious. Black coffee here is rich and tasty. Then there are the pastries inside: lemon bars, brownies, dutch apple bars and strawberry bars finished this brunch off nicely.
Excellent service, friendly staff, delicious lunch. One of the best Chicken Salad Sandwiches I've ever had and it was HUGE.....but I finished every bite! Wish I had room for one of their decadent-looking pastries.

Came in for a late breakfast and was very pleased with my experience! I ordered the homemade biscuits and gravy and felt as though I couldn't compliment the chef enough. This dish had a beautiful balance of flavors made even better by the fresh biscuits. The server was super friendly and the restaurant's decorations were very charming. I will definitely be going back!

Wife and I split the florentine Benedict and schnitzel and gravy. Both were fantastic. But the florentine knocked it out of the park. The fresh vegetables paired with the best hollandaise we've ever had is second to none. Do yourself a favor and don't miss this breakfast of a life time.

Ordered room service at our inn (Sun Valley Inn), they give you their menu when you check in. Got our food, waffles, biscuits, hashbrown etc. ZERO condiments. Even though they were requested when ordering. Called them back and the response from them was, "we will let them know and hopefully they can get it to you." Never got anything. Wow what a waste of $70 for a breakfast for two people. I get better service at McDonald's. Food wasnt anything special either.
AMAZING. I was in Sun Valley for the summer figure skating competition, and in between practices and competing events, I would just take a quick minute walk to the konditorei!! All of the food and pastries are so delicious, and as a huge fan of iced chai lattes, I literally died and went to heaven!! My favorite pastry is the red velvet brownie, but if you are looking for something more simple, try the classic croissant! Sad that I don t live in Sun Valley, but if I visit again, I will be sure to come back!!

Came here for breakfast after spending the morning hiking, I was ready to go H.A.M. First impressions were great, the building is beautiful, both inside and out. LOTS of natural light in the dining area, and the lounge area by the fireplace was amazing. Once seated, the waiter took our order, and surprisingly, brought the food out relatively quickly.
The food here wasn't as good as the reviews mentioned, especially when considering the price AND the portions you're getting. I ordered the Schnitzelwaffle, primarily because it's the "Chef's Choice" here, and I didn't like it at all. Of course I ate it all and didn't complain, but honestly, the meat you get is very thin, and I just thought the mustard they put on the meat and waffle combo was not tasty at all, which left me very disappointed. I was still hungry, and placed an order for the Konditorei Breakfast. It's more of a traditional type of breakfast (eggs, potato, meat), and I really liked it, especially the bacon and the little potato hash brown circle you get. Once again, the price and portions were disappointing. For dessert, I got their swan pastry, which was really good IMO, and would go perfectly with their cappuccino. Their dessert counter is fantastic, they have so many choices and they all look fresh and unique.
I actually ordered a cappuccino AND a latte here, primarily because I had no clue what the difference was. Apparently the latte is supposed to be not as strong and more creamy than the cappuccino, which was true. I enjoyed them both, they tasted fantastic (I'm not an expert at all, but could definitely tell the difference in taste between these here and at McDonalds).
The three main negatives for me that bring this place to 3 stars are the service, the overall taste, and price. Even though our first round of food came rather quickly, when my party placed the second round of orders, it took a very long time (I don't have the exact wait time, but it was easily over 25 minutes and the place wasn't even that busy). We were very close of just asking for the bill and leaving. And when the food came, the waiter forgot to bring me the latte I ordered. Sometimes you come across a waiter / waitress that is attentive, friendly, a little talkative, and makes you feel welcome. This was the exact opposite of what we experienced here. It almost felt like our waiter was either someone who just started here, or was super overwhelmed and slammed, which is fine but is something I wanted to make note of. Finally, some of the breakfast entrees myself or my party ordered (Kale and Quinoa and Cauliflower Hash) didn't taste as good as I (or they) expected or lacked any distinct or signature taste, especially after the hype of all the positive reviews here. As for the price, it felt very inflated to me when comparing the portions and overall taste to some of the local spots I know of back at home.
Overall, I really LOVED the atmosphere here, but this is a medium 3 to me. If you're coming here, I'd highly recommend just ordering dessert and coffee / latte / cappuccino, taking it to go, and eating it inside by the fireplace or outside on their patio. I'd be willing to give this place another chance, mainly due to how much I enjoyed the atmosphere / presentation.
Great food and wonderful services. We ordered kale and quinoa wrap for a quick afternoon snack. It was perfect, just what we needed. Fresh veggies and light seasoning. Chai soy latte was really good. I tried their almond latte and it was great. (Not everyone can make good almond latte)
While ordering food, we informed the waiter, Jeremy, that we are vegan. He came back to let us know that they are proud to be serving vegan sausage and vegan egg scramble for brunch. I m so thrilled to hear that and so appreciative he made the extra efforts to let us know. We will definitely come back here whenever we are in town or skiing. It s right next to dollar mountain.
All in all, I had a wonderful experience.
I spilled coffee on my wife and I lap. The manger redacted quickly towards the incident. She made sure we were ok and brought me a new coffee. Thanks a lot for your help and the food was also great.

Nice restaurant in Sun Valley with a few vegetarian options. Everything we tasted were good. The fish and the hash browns. Same thing for the desserts with the hazelnut chocolate dome and the crepes.
Coffee is great, staff is awesome, the whole place is clean and very very Covid friendly. Waiters wear masks.
Outdoor seating is great, and there is free WiFi!

We went to breakfast here two mornings in a row. The food was awesome and the service was outstanding! This was by far one of our favorite restaurants in the resort area. Some of our favorites were the Huckleberry Crepes, Hot Chocolate and the Apple Crisp Cheesecake Bar.
Mike was wonderful! My family came in to have breakfast and had an amazing time. The food was all delicious and he went out of his way to get me a specialty coffee and provided superb service. Come in and ask for Mike s section!

Had a ton of fun here. The food was so amazing. Our waitress was super sweet and she was from Poland (which was super cool). They seared us superfast. And they got our food superfast too. And it was really delicious food as well. I will definitely be coming back.
