Not only is the food incredible but the staff is 100%, our server Briana was the most kind person and made my breakfast go great to phenomenal! Perla s pastries were out of this world, seriously I am the most happy customer right now. Will be returning (every day). Best birthday EVER!

Mediocre food, But what really got my attention is your open kitchen, how the servers pick food off bowls where the food comes out. Not very sanitized and clean. Also, your employees DO NOT wear gloves while preparing and also dishing food. As being as food critic and writer, I give you at 2 Star rating due to your uncleanliness and unsanitary conditions of preparation of food. I will not return to this restaurant until this is fixed. I'm glad I didn't call an inspection agency to see the whole rundown of your restaurant.

The food was great and the atmosphere was wonderful. Our server, Jeremy, was very friendly and took care of us very well. It was the off season this time. The last time we went it was packed. It is well worth the trip.

Fantasic place to eat. Grab a quick coffee and pastry at the bar or dine in. Lovely presentation, layered flavors, fresh ingredients, amazing coffee and excellent staff...many are out of towners with intersting stories to tell. In Sun Valley village and many times requires a wait.

Tried to go here for Sunday brunch. We were visitors and didn't realize it wasn't a typical buffet style brunch, but to even ask a question or look at a menu took a long wait while being completely ignored. By this time, other customers walked in, many of whom were greeted by staff, so if you're a local, no problem. When someone finally got to us, we asked two questions and then were told "Hurry up, there's other people behind you waiting." How rude!! After that attitude and having to wait, we took our business elsewhere.

The food has a Swiss flare to some dishes. Great for breakfast foods and lunch as well. We had a large group and they were very accommodating. We all loved the food. Everyone even got a bakery item to go for dessert later, it s looks delicious.

By far the absolute best restaurant for breakfast and lunch and pastries in Sun Valley. This is a place to treasure. The service is incredible. Every single employee is there to please. They truly make you feel right at home. The pastries are out of this world beautiful and delicious. It is as if you are at Cafe Demel in Austria. Michael is one in a million and Brittney is just about the best waitress I have ever seen. My husband and kids love it there as much as I do. You owe it to yourself to go and see it for yourself. Their latte is also smooth and made to perfection!

Lip smacking pastries, spoilt for choice ! You almost want to try everything on display. The Oreo MnM Brownies, Tiramisu and Macroons were the winners according to me.

Croissants were just average, but the coffee to go with it, made up for it. Had a three chocolate mocha and I'd recommend that.

Their Sunday brunch was pretty good. I had the Corned Beef and Hash, it was made to perfection.

Maybe it's good for sweets and desserts, since that's what its name means.
We ordered three lunch entrees and it was hard to decide which one was the worst. Or the Wurst.
I don't leave bad reviews unless I feel I must warn people. This was an expensive mistake. A place that pretends to have some connection to Austria & Germany, messes up every single recipe, and can't even spell the dishes right.
With the exception of the cabbage side dish, everything was bland or totally tasteless: I challenge anyone to produce butter Spaetzle with cheese loaded with charred bacon that has no flavor! Ditto on the wienerschnitzel.
The most disappointing, bordering on falsehood, was the Bavarian sausage platter: one single brat covered in an unappealing fluid substance that was almost, but not quite, entirely unlike a mustard sauce that would have no business on sausage plate.
The only good item was the Bavarian beer: at $11 each, they'd better be. Served in glasses that were far too small and entirely the wrong shape for Hefeweizen. If that's all you can do, please stick to Budweiser and hotdogs.
$85 for a lunch that makes you waste a further half-hour on a revenge review.

Our family just loves this French inspired cafe! The crepes will win over any little one... Large, fresh fruit, perfectly soft. The mimosa made with fresh squeezed oranges and the cappuccino were gorgeous and silky. My husband ordered a warm apples strudel and large buttery crisp croissant that were delicious. My eggs florentine was great; the poached eggs perfectly cooked. Overall, a good experience.

One of our favorite places to go in Sun Valley. The food is great, and there is always a selection of amazing pastries. Some of the best lattes I've ever had. It's such a nice place to just relax and have a leisurely breakfast or snack.

Although my German husband tends to point out what is considered authentic German food, our entire family enjoyed our experience at this establishment. The seating was well placed to both enjoy views of food preparation as well as views out of the windows. Inside was a relief of the cold winter, offering bright colors reminiscent of spring. The food was really really good and the cappuccino was devine. They make a great twist of the traditionally southern chicken and waffles, "Schnizel and waffle" dressed with arugula and agave syrup (I think). Another twist was the Schnitzl and gravy. Again, absoulutely delecious. Our third dish was the crab omlette. Both filling and flavorful.

What a great brunch place in the morning and a perfect place to grab a pastry in the afternoon. We loved the rosti and the schnitzel on waffle. The staff are incredibly nice and the food is hearty.

** Review for parents with young kids in mind **

** Review for parents with young kids in mind **

Restaurants can be difficult, especially when you have young eaters that like the staples. So hopefully this review helps keep those kids happy!

The kids mac + cheese is a very rich creamy sauce. We call it fancy Mac + cheese . We couldn t quite put our finger on what cheeses were used, but it almost tastes like a blue cheese. Our kids didn t like it, but they are partial to Kraft.

The pancake is an oat, gluten free, pancake. We were skeptical about the response, but our kids liked it fine!

Waffle was a hit, but how could it not be when it is covered in Nutella, whip cream, strawberries, bananas, and syrup!! Next time we will probably ask for the toppings on the side.

Scrambled eggs, our kids devoured. But they like eggs at home too.
They said that the Ham was good. Sausage patty was good. Orange juice was awesome. And the chocolate chip cookie is a must!

As for the adults.

The yogurt and granola with berries is super yummy. It s a berry Greek yogurt that isn t very sweet. The granola and berries made it the perfect amount of sweet for us.

Club was very good. We even asked them to warm it up, which they did, and it was so yummy! Essentially made it lightly toasted.

Enjoy your meal!! And enjoy Sun Valley!!

We gave it 4 stars, because we do wish they had a little more mainstream Mac n cheese for the kids.

I love going back to Bibou's for it's authentic charm. Is it France, no, it's Philly and it's special. The food is that of a fine artist who please the tongue, nose, and eyes of the viewer. And that to me is alway worth it.

Historic resort village nestled within sawtooth mountains in Sun Valley, Idaho. Popular as a ski resort destination but beautiful all year with many outdoor activities, including bicycling, rafting, fishing, camping, hiking, etc. Konditorei restaurant is an ideal place for a delicious breakfast within the Sun Valley resort Village. Gorgeous gardens, spacious lawns, ponds, historic architecture and swans! My breakfast was trout eggs benedict. Delicious!
