Small facility but the best tour hands down!! The guide was incredible and you felt like Elvis, Jerry Lee Lewis and Johnny Cash had just left! Everything is the same as it was for Elvis' first recording!!

Not for the claustrophobic but very informative and interesting. So, if you love music and/or history but dont mind being packed in a small room full of people, it's great. Our tour guide was awesome but I wish the folks working the gift shop had been a little less rude.

Tour guide was self indulgent and kept singing over every famous music sample he would play during the tour. Then he proceeded to show off by playing guitar over the samples in the recording studio. I guess he thinks he's part of the exhibit, but it was distracting and felt like we got hijacked by a random dude using an opportunity with a crowd to try to act cool....

The tour size made the exhibit cramped.

If you grew up with records this is a must stop and see where the great singers made there first albums Elvis, jerry Lewis, johnny Cash , Mr. Sam Phillips, new what he was doing

We were on a city tour through Memphis when we came to Sun Studio. It was a good experience to get to know the place were Elvis, and many other famous singers first started. It is a very small place, but interesting. There is a small coffee shop when you first enter the place, there you can also buy souvenirs, and post cards, take pictures, or admire the gold records placed on the walls.

If you are a history buff then it is a place to visit. When you enter, it is a coffee shop and then you pay for the tour of the place.

I loved it the people were so nice I really really want to go back and at like 10:00 pm it apparently turns into a bar

If there is one tour to do while in Memphis, this is the one to do! Loved getting a history lesson on so many music legends! The studio has been left untouched and you feel like you take a step back in time walking into the studio. Our tour guide was excellent and made it a very interactive tour. I highly recommend the Sun Studio Tour.

Well ... no words for it. Just a piece of history that you should have visited as a music fan !!

Let me say that this is a MUST when in Memphis. I missed out about 5 years ago when I should have come here. I made up for it this time. So much history here. So much that shot out of this tiny studio that launched a musical revolution. I knew who came through her, but I didn't realize the stories behind those. I stood in the same spot Elvis Presley stood at when he recorded his first hit. I held a lead mic that all those that recorded there used. I stood behind a piano that The Killer put a cigarette out on the keys. I heard original recordings. I heard music pumped through that tiny recording studio. Just so much to learn and see and feel in this tiny studio that started it all. And Tiffany our tour guide was awesome. Again, this is a MUST stop.

If you have not yet had the opportunity to tour this gem, you are severely deprived. Our tour guide brought the history of Rock N Roll alive with her commentary. We were thrilled with the entire experience.

This is one of the best stops in Memphis. This was our second visit and loved it just as much the second time around. The tour guides go above and beyond to make this an excellent must see in Memphis. Highly recommend!

Loved going there and hearing and seeing the history of this place. The guide was able to answer all the questions that we ask him and gave us a very detailed tour and could give us the dates of when certain records were recorded. All of this interested me because I have several Sun Label records that I wanted to learn more about and they are willing to help you at any time. Amazing Thank you

Really, you need to go here before you head to Graceland. It's got a lot more of the story than just Elvis.

For logistics, Sun is tiny and busy. Buy tickets in advance (especially in the summer and especially if you take the shuttle from Graceland).

Such a neat experience and a great group of people who work there. Definitely check it out if you can!

Great tour - about an hour. History of the place, photos and artifacts, and audio clips of Sun records stars including Elvis and Johnny Cash. Didn't look handicap accessible though - there were stairs. Knowledgeable and energetic tour guide.

Dusty, crowded, over rated. Tour guide knowledgeable but too many cliche, stupid jokes. It is almost worth going once. A mistake to go twice.

Great tour from Lydia today, well worth the trip for a little bit of history up close and personal. The environment is small, so groups are limited (which is a good thing). I enjoyed the background on artists beyond Elvis and you realize what a treasure this place really is.

If your into the roots of RockNRoll this is the place to go. You'll learn something about how it all started in a little town in Tennessee and how it spread across the nation.

Really neat guided tour. I was expecting alot more music artifacs and history, but the studio totally made up for it.

Very cool piece of American history...little pricey and a little crowded but it's for sure a bucket list item to mark off

Short but sweet, maybe 30-45 minutes, only 2 rooms to see but the guide really puts the history in perspective and helps you understand the timeline. And you can touch an Elvis microphone.

Amazing that so many phenomenal artists recoreded in that tiny place. A lot of history there.

How could not have been a great experience..it's Sun Studio..and unlike all the other attractions in Memphis this was is very Affordable along with very Affordable souvenirs!

A really cool museum and a must to visit while on Memphis. Tons of musical history. Parking is tight behind the studio, but they move the tours along so the parking keeps refreshing.

Awesome...better than that though...if your in Memphis...well...do it!
