Summit Racing Equipment Review

Worse customer service! Ordered a part was supposed to be delivered on Friday, then delivery switched to Saturday, then no delivery date scheduled. The next day my part is in a totally different state and Summit customer service tells me there is nothing they can do. They say sometimes Fed Ex will reroute to different hubs before delivering. I was told 2 - 3 day delivery this is day 3 I'm in NJ my part is in Kansas City and they still refuse to call Fed ex to find out where my part is. Wake up if the part was in NJ on Friday and now its Tuesday and its in Missouri chances are somethings wrong. Pick up the phone call Fed Ex and find out whats going on. Instead they lie to you and tel you they spoke with Fed Ex and its going to be there today. I WILL NEVER ORDER FROM THEM AGAIN!

Discount rack in the back. Fast service and enjoyable staff. Worth the stop if you are driving past. They suck 500 out of me every time I walk in the door. I think it s like a kid in a candy store environment. Well worth the visit.

I've been using Summit for 8years now, and I got to thank you guys for setting a customer service standard that many fail to meet! Always on time and efficient!

This place is like a racer s candy store. The have great selection and even better pricing. I see other complaints with customer service but I have had nothing but good experiences. I highly recommend this Summit Racing.

Blood boiling experience with these people. I am not making this up. They sent me used brake pads. The pads had grease on them, and the clips were all bent up. Bad customer service. Horrible, I will never order from them again. I will stick with rock auto. Summit racing is terrible in every way

All the aisles or well organized and stocked. All staff is helpful and knowledgeable. They have everything from cleaning supplies from the interior to exterior of your car, to your interior and exterior of the engine or transmission. Excellence!!!

I live 10 minutes away and love it. Whenever I have any auto repair job to do, I always check Summit's prices first. Whether its a performance upgrade or an OE-Grade replacement, Summit Racing often has the competition beat on pricing.

Absolutely awful after standing in multiple lines for what seamed like forever I got my brake kit only to find out it was missing parts when I whent to install it. When I whent to return it for a kit that had the right parts I whent through fore kits all missing parts and had to asemble well as far as I could asemble the brake caliper pads and caliper bracket before any of the staff would take me seariously I was told repeatedly that that's just how they come and that I should talk to the manufacturer about my problem at this point I'd had enough and asked for my money back I was sent to stand in yet anouther line and then told my money would be refunded to my card in 3 to 5 days when I asked u so long they said it was the bank it seams to me that summit isn't responsible for anything I couldn't find a single employe that knew a dam thing unless they had a computer infront of them summit isn't much more then a glorified autozone witch FYI can order me the same crap from the manufacturers I can only imagine the trouble I would have had if i had ordered from the catiloge and not had the store to go to a few hr job took all day and I'm still at square one

Twice I have ordered from these guys and twice they take the money out off my account and then send email saying that my bank says it's the wrong billing address. Funny how you got the money pending but yet you can't verify it. Cancelled this order and will never order from you guys again and I will pass along to everyone I know how bad your customer service is. Now I'll wait four or five days for my $600 dollars to come off hold so I can get the same thing from AutoZone without the hassle!!!

The sales consultants are awesome. Spend a bunch of time helping you search the internet to see if something on the clearance shelf will fit your vehicle when the manufacturer isn't clear enough.

Bought engine parts from Summit to restore my Toyota Highlander (engine/trans rebuild). Their prices are low and door to door delivery is very convenient. Their customer service is competent and responsive, too. Very pleased and will definitely buy from them again.

ordered running boards for my silverado 3 times and still dont fit,,customer service wanted me to install a forth time just to take pics to prove they dont fit...sorry but they should have better service techs than that..never deal with summit racing!!!

The worst experience EVER!!! I have been waiting on a part nearly a month. Summit refused to cancel and issue a refund because the part was allegedly already shipped, but after a week passed, I still had no part. A check of the tracking number said the part was delivered in OHIO, I am in Michigan. It took a few days for Summit to conclude it was delivered to the wrong address. No worries, it will be sent overnight... Two days later, still no part. Summit insisted it was shipped overnight as promised, give them until 9PM to deliver, however, they didn't have a tracking number for the shipment, and the shipment never arrived. 21 days so far, no part, no refund.

I live in CA, I order from Summit and have always gotten the part as advertized, awesome quality, customer service is phenomenal they actually know what they are doing. Knowledgeable answers from a professional team and many super smart forum folks. I wish they would open one here. But CA is a bunch of losers only out for dirty money.

one of the best places, to order, stock or aftermarket parts from. outstanding customer service and prices. I order a cold air intake from them a couple months back, it didn't live up to its hype. I called them back 2 and a half months after I order it. they sent me a return label and boom three days later, returned and refunded. highly recommend these guys

Great place for parts. Always cheaper than any local parts dealer. Parts dealers won't even price match with summit. I go out of my way to just go in and look at the clearance section. I'm glad they're close by worth the 45min drive for sure. Thank you summit racing

Kept my money for 3 months then got it back with no part

Store has impressive selection of tools and supplies. I'm sure it's also great for classic/muscle/hot rod parts, but for import car parts, might as well stick to buying through their site. The winga-dinga is strong here.

Very convenient to have summit racing near by. Always a breeze dealing with the employees here. If you order online & go directly to pickup it is a lot faster then going in-store to buy parts.

This is the altiment toy store for gear heads. First timers or hard core they have it all. Staff is very friendly and always there to help..

So many neat things to see here! The staff are incredibly knowledgeable. Definitely kinda weird how the ordering system works in store though.

Huge store with wide variety of automobile stuff. Been here for the first time with my friend who has a hobby of upgrading trucks. Learnt that they have a completely automated warehouse that fetches the deliveries through robots. The staff seem knowledgable.

Everything you need and friendly help if you don't know what you need for your stock or performance car or truck.Not exactly cheap but the performance market is booming.

Going to summit racing in person is quite different from using them online.
They have a unique shopping experience. The set up is interesting. I ask that they consider adding a kiosk with their catalog of instock items for browsing purposes.
I only say this because I had gone there with an idea but forgotten it as soon as I walked in the door . I can be an airhead

Always a great experience when I go to Summit Racing. Quality parts and competitive prices. If they had a store on every road like the main chain stores, I wouldn't go any other place. One of the very few places I can go into and spend hours looking through the demo section or deciding what I want/how much I can afford! Always very helpful and professional. And almost everything you get here will be cheaper than anywhere else you go. I recommend summit racing to every person I talk to about any vehicle I'm working on.

Long wait in lines but definitely a good place to drool over all the accessories!!

Pretty good variety of parts, seem to beat most prices of other auto part stores, usually don't wait very long in line.
