This place is really nice, the staff was friendly and the decor was neat. My complaint is the climate control in the rooms. Our room was warm, the thermostat has a motion sensor and so if you leave the room (or go to sleep), the air conditioning turns off. The room really heats up if you take a shower or the hair dryer.
Our room never got below 76, even with the air conditioning set at 64.

This hotel is absolutely beautiful! It gives you the feel of an art gallery or an art museum. The staff was outstanding, and even the breakfast brunch was delicious and economical. Absolutely the most beautifully modern hotel I've been to in a while.

Hotel is very nice and clean. The staff is very friendly. The Overlook restaurant has some amazing food as well and you definitely get what you pay for there.

However, I wouldn't a fan of the market for breakfast. They had a nice selection of foods and cooked to order items, but the cost seemed a bit high and they didn't have the pricing posted anywhere, so it was quite the surprise when I got my bill.

The parking garage is nice and well lit, but if you have a large vehicle, you might struggle. (On the ground level at least) There's several pillars positioned next to EVERY parking spot, which could make it difficult with a bigger SUV or truck. They do offer valet services as well.

The rooms are clean and comfortable, however, the water in the showers barely gets warm enough to be comfortable. The wifi is terrible and you can barely even watch TV because the cable cuts out in the early evening. So it's good for a place to sleep or to maybe spend the evening in the restaurant and bar, but not for an evening in the room relaxing.

Beautiful hotel, loved the pool table/library area, and this place had probably the best fitness center I ve ever seen in a hotel. The hotel staff (from the valet and front desk to the cleaning and maintenance) treat you as if you are the most important guest staying there. Very friendly and attentive.
Rooms were amazing, everything is new, clean, and high tech. Forget Marriott, Hilton and The Ritz. Summit in Cincinnati is the place to stay.

BETTER THAN 21c, Modern Design, Beautiful Rooms, friendly staff. I could not believe how beautiful this place was, given it s location.
However, this location is within one mile of I71 and also Columbia Parkway, easy to find and has free parking

One exit away from the two hotels on Edwards and Edmondson Road in Norwood, and this place is so much nicer. Could not believe it. Ask for a tour and check out the room rates, and you will thank me.

I have not stayed here yet. However I have done a complete walk through and I am pleased to say that this hotel is one of the most well put together buildings I have ever seen. From the outside it may look like something you have seen before, but the inside is absolutely breathtaking. From the beautiful rustic staircase in the lobby, to the graffiti in the restrooms. This abstract meets modern hotel is something worth seeing!

This is a contemporary deluxe hotel with extravagant amenities! A number of meeting rooms for groups of all sizes and all day dining available. To many niceties to mention. Please stop in and take a look for yourself. Quick access to high end retail shopping in Kenwood and just minutes from downtown. You won t be disappointed with this place!

My experience at the Summit Hotel was exceptional! The rooms here are modern, clean, and open with lots of natural light. The staff are helpful and accessible. The gym exceeded my expectations with ropes, machines, a Peleton, and a yoga studio. The restaurant/bar had great service and food, too. Parking was plentiful and FREE. The location is nice, close to local restaurants, bars, coffee, and shopping. Overall, a very positive experience!

Beautiful new hotel with modern rooms. One of the only negatives is the parking garage. Weirdest parking garage setup I've ever seen. There are big concrete pillars every 2 spaces which make it very difficult to park in. And there are maybe 50 total spots but 9 floors worth of rooms. Don't see how this is enough parking spaces if the hotel were full. Also a little disturbing was I found an empty box of condoms in the bedside drawer. Clearly the cleaning staff is not thorough when cleaning/inspecting the rooms. Overall though I would definitely recommend the hotel. The staff I interacted with was friendly and welcoming. The breakfast buffet was also very good.

This is a really nice hotel. Its new, so everything is pretty modern. The room included a Keurig coffeee maker with a select of beverage options, a nice robe and work space. The beds were extremely comfortable. Everything was very clean and the staff was happy to help with any accommodation with a simply call to the front desk. There is a bar and restaurant on there 4th floor. The food was very artistic, but not bad. The drinks were good!

This hotel is so beautiful and unique. Literally a museum. The staff there were so polite. The rooms were spotless and spacious. There's room service, restaurant and bar on the upper level. I will always choose The Summit when booking.

Weekend guest for a wedding. Beautiful hotel with great outdoor views. The staff was very kind. Spent some time at the bar, a nice set up. Took in the brunch on Sunday. It was not busy but they offered so many options - the brunch is a buffet with a mimosa included. Would definitely stay here again.

Although this is a beautiful hotel in appearance, and rooms are comfortable, the restaurant here is abysmal at best. It is no better and in many ways worse than the free breakfast at those lower cost chain hotels, like Comfort Inn, Holiday Inn Express, and Motel 6, etc..
So, here's the question: Would you pay $20 for a Holiday Inn Express or Motel 6 breakfast? If you say yes to this question, than you would be very disappointed with The Summit Hotel breakfast.

Nice clean modern hotel. Opened recently. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. We did get awoken to a fire alarm, the kitchen sensors seem to be a little to sensitive. That being said the staff had us back inside quickly.

Not your cookie cutter hotel, which is why I wanted to stay here. Lots of open air space in the lobby. The building core is an open atrium. Very interesting. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. My only complaint is the shower which drained slowly. Not to put too much importance on the shower but what can I say... one of the simple pleasures of life and I couldn't fully enjoy it because water was collected at the base of the shower. Would have definitely been a solid four star rating but for the problem with the shower. I suppose I could have asked for a different room and maybe it would have been better. But I was tired and had already settled in and didn't feel like the hassle of making a move for one night.

Still some kinks to work out. Service was terribly slow, but not from lack of effort on our servers part. I just think they were understaffed. We will come back and try again, because we really enjoyed the roof top deck.

A former car park, that has function rooms, a conference centre, an art gallery, a roof top bar.. mixed in with a brutalist, modernist chic approach

Rooms where spacious, clean, and a little cold, even on 74.

Beds..ok.. very soft mattress. The pillows..deal breaker. A choice of firm or a rock. We tried for a few hours to rest, we checked out at 12:30am. Went home.

A Huge Disappointment.

A Huge Disappointment.
My wife and I stayed at the Summit two nights last weekend. I frankly expected more, from a "4 Star" hotel with a price to match, than we received.

Pros : The bed was comfortable, the shower was nice. There was a pool table which we enjoyed in the only comfortable room we found in the whole hotel.

Everything else :
Upon checking in, we went immediately to the room. There is a Keurig coffee maker in the room. Nice, but the coffee cups were coated with enough lint inside them that you could shake it out onto the floor. I didn't complain, just washed them out. The rest of the room was reasonably clean.

Most hotels offer a free breakfast of some sort. Not this place. Instead an "American Breakfast buffet" is provided but at an amazing $20 (plus tip and tax) per person! That's right, you can plan to spend $50 if you enjoy coffee and raisin bran in the morning. OK, so we decided to eat somewhere else.

The next day we went sightseeing, and left a "Please clean the room" tag on the door. When we returned to our 4-Star hotel that evening, we found that housekeeping had never even bothered to show up.

That was the third disappointment. I went down to the front desk and told them what I'd done with the dirty cups the day before, and how we had received ZERO housekeeping service during our two night stay. The response was, "We'll log it. Sorry about that. Would you like some clean cups?"

There was no attempt to try and make anything right.
I've stayed at discount motels where I've had better service than this, and for a lot less money.

This hotel was a huge disappointment, a real waste of money, and I hope this review will serve to dissuade anyone else considering it for a nice time away from home.

For the record, the is the only negative hotel reviews I've written in my entire life.

The website claims the room features skyline views of Cincinnati . I was given a second floor room facing the parking lot. They should really change the wording so fools like me don t book and get their hopes up.

Hotel failed to return item left in room. Management (multiple levels) contacted were unresponsive, accusatory instead of being understanding, and did not care. Front desk staff were eager to help but unfortunately had to rely on others to locate the item. So, while you will enjoy room comfort and size, make sure you secure your belongings and don t leave anything behind.

We arrived at the summit hill hotel 8/1-8/3/2020 for my husband BIRTHDAY weekend. When we got there the hotel people were giving the hotel guess the option to stay or leave due to a water main breakage near the hotel which cause the hotel water to be cut off. Well the staff was amazing & jumped right into controlled Safety action for the guess by offering reimbursement for the hotel stay so guests can find another place for the night , or stay at the hotel and have bottled water until the water main was fixed. I must say the city came out and work diligently throughout the night to fix the water and by the time we woke up at 6 a.m. the water main was all fix and up and running. I thought that was really cool. It was almost like nothing had happened at all, it was a very calm an easy-going situation and was handled very well by the staff and the customer. Housekeeping was amazing , they did everything we asked concerning the room and extra linen. Parking was easy and Breezy. The hotel was absolutely amazing and the decor and clean from inside out. I would definitely recommend this hotel which opened up in 2018 and then got caught up in the pandemic and had to reopen on the 13th of July. As well as they handled things after reopening I would definitely recommend this to anyone in the Cincinnati area or coming through. I had a handicap room and it was very spacious and very accommodating. The California King bed, was very comforting and relaxing. The hotel has a on roof Restaurant and Lounge area which is absolutely amazing and a must-see. Overall I give this hotel on a scale 1 to 10 an absolutely wonderful 10 and I recommend that anyone should visit at least once.

I just wanted to comment that unlike other chains your hotel did not seem to appreciate a Diamond Rewards Status. No recognition, handicapped room, no welcome Amenity, offer to upgrade or explanation nothing available. I certainly did not feel like a higher reward customer. At other chains they seem to appreciate, or at the least act like they do. Other than that hotel was a great experience with a nice breakfast although still disorganized. Coffee out at 8:30 am, reactive instead of proactive. Just seemed it needed organization. Barman and maid were exceptionally helpful and professional

I travel to Cincy monthly to visit family and have stayed all over. Hotels, Airbn, etc. I manage vacation rentals for work and am very picky. Once we stayed at the Summit I no longer look for any alternatives. Price, value, amenities- Summit has it all. Super comfy beds, clean linens, plenty of space, great tv. We often cut our schedule short just do we have extra time to lounge around the room. Friendly staff and great game room with pool table and flat screen tv, lots of interesting books available as well with Cincy history. Summit is our new home away from home..

You should overlook it. The Overlook restaurant was having a very bad night.

It took more than 15 minutes for us just to get water. Two drinks had to be sent back. Two of the three meals were burnt to a crunchy black, only one of which was comped. Despite less than half of the tables being occupied, service was super slow and we picked at crunchy black food because we were hungry and nobody came to check on us.

They did earn one star, one of the meals was good. I have to assume that two of them got burned waiting for the one that wasn't. I'm not sure if the chef had a night off, or if they can't manage a slow night in the restaurant with a private party night in the buffet area.

Regardless, I can't recommend them for a place to get a drink or to get a bite.

The Summit A Solve Hotel is new & is bright as a new penny. Everything is beautiful & clean. The bathroom in the room is the largest I've ever seen in a hotel. It could accommodate someone in a wheelchair except to take a shower. There is a bathtub but there are more jets & shower heads than one person could need. The food in the 4th floor dinner restaurant is delicious. I had the Gnochi & would highly recommend it. Our room coffeemaker even used k-cups. The bed is high but soft & comfortable to sleep in. The room has a small fridge but no micro. Those of you liking a big tv it's really big.

I didn't stay at the hotel, was there to try the cafe. Love the bright, modern and sophisticated lobby. The murals, art exhibit, and atrium architecture design, all unique elements. The front desk staff Nicole is friendly and professional, greeted me right away, answered my questions and also gave me a quick guide of the lobby. The cafe is beautiful. Although coffee selection is limited currently, they have a good amount of healthy snacks. I got granola, chocolate donuts from Laura's Healthy Delights, so tasty and free of sugar. Plan to try the rooftop restaurant someday soon!
