First time visit and wow, this was good. I called ahead as we had a party of 7 and needed assurance we would be able to get a table and eat in order to be on time for an engagement. The service was awesome and we easily made it in time. The food was excellent. My wife and I shared a Caeser salad. I followed up with lasagna and it was excellent! I couldn't believe the portion size as it was a little bit larger than a standard brick for a house. My father ordered eggplant parmesan, an appetizer portion as his meal and struggled to finish. He did finish which translates to the food was really good. My mother enjoyed the cannelloni as well. We will definitely return!

I had the risotto special with zucchini, shrimp and broccoli. Big and tasty, sauce was just right and the veggies were al dente which they should be. Reasonable house red wine with even better happy hour specials. My only gripe, and not just with Sugo is there seems to be a motion developing that risotto can be made with regular rice instead of arborio rice. There should be a law and understanding that risotto is only risotto if you use arborio rice, otherwise it is just rice and sauce.

This restaurant may be hard to see from the road, but you should definitely look for it. The food is freshly prepared and delicious. The menu is relatively small but full of options. Service is impeccable and attentive.

Our waitress was phenomenal! So attentive, polite, and prompt! Our food was just as good! Everyone enjoyed their meals and had trouble choosing between the specials because they all sounded divine! Completely satisfied with my first time here. We'll certainly be back and tell our friends!

Wow factor at this restaurant. Wasn't expecting the quality of food, it was great. Service perfect, if we lived in the area this would be a top 5 go to restaurants we would visit often.

Tasty and flexible for special add-on requests. Enjoyed the Funghi and spaghetti entree with a meatball and marinara side. Excellent chunky marinara, which I would enjoy with any of their pasta I'm sure. Spring Greens salad was excellent as well.

A hidden gem in Edwardsville! Daily risotto specials, fantastic lasagna and great pizza. Good atmosphere, Sinatra seems to always be playing and a pretty good wine list. Casual enough for everyday and good enough food for a nice night out

A small menu allows Sugo's to get what they create perfect. I have yet to find anything on their menu I do not like. Great wine list. Educated wait staff! We are repeat customers. You come here for the experience not because youre too lazy to cook for yourself. Enjoy.

This was my 2nd visit. Very busy but run efficiently. Is clean and wait staff knowledgeable and professional. I had special which was Maui Maui fish. Was done perfectly and served hot. Others in my party had spaghetti and meat balls and other menu items. No complaints. This is a little distance for us. If it were closer we would visit more often. Hats off to the management. We will return.

My family recently booked a party for my Mom's Birthday. The food and room setup were excellent along with our hard working waiter. Definitely a top rate restaurant and staff. Days before event, the manager was extremely helpful with suggestions and setup. Thank you all!!

My man and I came there after an exhausting, all day motorcycle swap (greasy and famished!) The service was absolutely wonderful. The server coursed our 3 choices, perfectly timed, and kept the bread and water coming! We were so satisfied after leaving there we took a 2 hour nap. The eggplant parm is magical! It was enough for 2 people and the sauce was worthy of a plate-licking. We also had the tutto mare and I wanted to kiss the chef. Thanks Sugos!

Always a good meal here. Rustic atmosphere simple menu, but everything is prepared to meet St. Louis Hill Italian standards. Neopolitan style pizza, bread and olive oil. Great house wine value. No draft beer or cocktails.

Based on a respected recommendation I took my spaghetti loving daughter with me to give this place a try. The starter bread was served with plates. Lol. Olive oil is on the table but it would've been better with balsamic vinegar as well. Butter I believe it's available on request.
We started with garlic cheese bread and bruschetta. Both servings were hardy but the bruschetta was served in a manner that made it impossible to pick up and eat without causing an avalanche of toppings! Once I was able to separate the bread and toppings it was a flavorful delight. Not able to take any leftovers home tho because the bread gets soggy after awhile.
The cheesy garlic bread was big, puffy, buttery, garlicky and of course cheesy! Yum!
Main course of pollo alfredo with the pollo on the side was very good according to my daughter. Only opportunity with that course is the sauce has chunky slices of garlic throughout and that is not pleasant to bite into, ever.
My pomodoro pasta was very very good! But I shouldn't of had bruschetta first because it felt like I had the same topping as the sauce on my pasta.
Dessert was my fave - tiramisu. It was good but the lady fingers were over soaked in espresso. Nice flavors otherwise.
Nice chianti that paired well with my meal.
Dallas, our server, was extremely knowledgable and well versed in the specials and menu items. He was attentive and very friendly. Great service! We will be back!

We were traveling toward St. Louis from Kentucky and wanted something warm and good for lunch. We strayed off the interstate a bit and ended up here. Wow was I impressed. The best sauces I believe Iv ever had, delicious tomatoes, large portions, and exceptional service. I'd definitely come back if I didn't live 6 hours away lol
