Few people showed up today. The bus was on point. The ambassador was a little hard to understand. Snow quality was excellent. Lift lines moved smoothly. For $10.50 I wish my chicken strips weren't so crispy. All around an excellent day!

Deep I the western mountains of Maine lies this gem world class skiing and winter sports coupled with one of new England's premier gold courses. View, hiking, quaint village browsing. Great get away!!

Beautiful mountain. Great activities particularly for kids. The ski school was great. The instructors were top notch. T-bird was old school but in the best way (also he has the best moustache).

We go every year for a golf weekend. The staff is great and the hotel is always clean. Penthouse A is the way to go if you have a large group. If you are going to play golf, bring extra balls. The course is always in great shape but she is a fickell one.

Since I am not a skier, I love to come here to hike. It is especially beautiful (as well as less crowded) during the fall with the changing foliage. I hope to find some more trails next fall. Hopefully, the next time I go down I will stay longer than one day.

The main reason to go there is to ski and the skiing is great. They work around the storms with great grooming and the employees were all helpfull and friendly .
Lot's of good places to eat but I would avoid Hunker Down. A well done burger doesn't mean burnt and the fries were extremely salty. There were not many people there and now I know why. Go to the Bag.

Best big ski resort in New England. Can be busy on weekends but the sheer size of the terrain makes it easy to dodge crowds. Great variety of terrain and difficulty means there's something for everyone at the loaf

Quickly becoming one of my favorite mountains on the East coast. Consistent snow fall. Friendly staff. More terrain than you can cover in a single day of skiing.

Well worth the 5 hour trip up north from Boston to experience this.

Side note: best lodge coffee on the east coast too

I confess. I have been a Sugarloafer since 1978. That's 40 years of brand loyalty. Why?? I love the hospitality in Maine. I love the skiing (obviously this time it was the hospitality alone). The folk are appreciative, engaging and fun. LOTS of services available even in the down season. If I was taking an outdoors vacation? I'd hike, bike, swim, kayak, canoe, golf, 4wheel, and laugh my way around Sugarloaf, dodging the moose!

Just go. It's a GREAT part of North America.

Had a couple of issues but the staff took care of them right away. It was a great time had by all. Hot tub outside was the size of a swimming pool. So many ski trails to try, it was a lot of fun.

Had a fantastic week at Sugarloaf with the annual NYFD. Found it to be beautiful ski resort staffed by the most polite and helpful staff ice ever encountered . Looking forward to coming again next year

I would have given this a five-star if it wasn't for a bouncer at the Widowmaker. Which was the bar upstairs in the lodge. My friend had to grab her jacket she even said that she wouldn't mind someone coming with her she would be 2 minutes. Instead they made her wait half an hour until enough people got in. Not only that but girls inline saw what was happening in offered for her to go with them to get her wallet with her jacket. The bouncer wouldn't let her go with the group of girls even though more than enough people have exhibited by then. She wanted to prove a point at my friend's expense. When it was finally okay for her to go up Karma the mail bouncer there felt bad and said sorry because she was literally right back down in less than a minute after grabbing her wallet. If it wasn't for such good music during the day, and awesome shredding and good times with good friends, I wouldn't be back on that experience alone. Other than that though it's a great Mountain!

I've had a few week-long stays at Sugarloaf now, and all of them have been wonderful experiences. The skiing, the staff, and the food is all fantastic. Would definitely recommend and come back.

Such a great mountain, the feeling of skiing down the mountain on clouds with no one around you and the ability to do what you want..for it be good slow, shred the trail, off trails, or bringing the family and teaching your kids how to ski. This mountain is amazing and is well worth the trip and cost. Would highly recommend for a ski trip to Maine.

Hands down number 1 ski mountain in the East ya heard.... NOT for wussies but plenty of easy terrain for beginners. Getting up there is a trek but once you are in Carrabassett Valley..... skier's paradise...
