You are treated like a King / Princess already when you meet the superbly nice staff at the reception! And then it just goes on, with fun! I managed to get a non-functioning "key" but then I was quickly helped by a regular, who fixed a new one! Many thanks! The environment & atmosphere is completely unique! Fine Champagne in the bar up there! If you long for a really nice Bathing Experience in our beautiful capital, there is only one place to choose! And that's "CureBadet"!
Post scriptum, e you a little small fat like me, for God's sake do not take Large swimming trunks! Bet on XL!

Food pretty good, but not for that price. Pool supply poor. Exercise machines very good. Charge extra for slippers and towel when paid entry feels very "cheap", do not really understand the purpose.

Terribly bad massage, unprofessional, frivolous and unpleasant. The only thing that is good about Sturebadet is shrimp salad at their cafe.

Old and not affordable. It would have been nicer if there were better relaxation chairs at least where you can sleep two people.

Good gym but low ceilings. Almost hit the pliers in the ceilings when I had it on straight arms. Calm and nice but very expensive treatments.

It should feel luxurious which does not at all ... a lot just feels very old. Even the 80 min luxury spa for two that I booked feels unworthy as 40 min was like showering and bathing. No, unfortunately yours I will not go again.

Just visited the spa bath. Expensive but relaxing. No place I would visit too often due to. the price but I enjoyed and relaxed in the lovely atmosphere that was there.

It's ok. Massages were excellent. Rest of it was mediocre. Random decor like a school hall with tiny offset rooms for a small jacuzzi and a 'quiet' room with chairs.

Pool was mostly filled with a pensioners swim aerobics class all Sunday morning to the tune of light rock.

One word to sum up value for money... Meh!

You don t get what you pay for. It s small, hard to figure out, and it s not a spa - closer to a gym with a small swimming pool. You can hear people swimming from the silent room , the gym equipment is dated, and concept is just random.
Was also surprised to see a female staff just walk in the male changing room. The staff in general was friendly though.
Wouldn t recommend going just to relax.

Useless service, unpleasant staff. They call 30 minutes before our booked time and cancel. Terribly bad! I do not recommend anyone to visit this horrible spa.

They have everything, it is a joy to stay in these premises. It's clean, tidy and quiet - despite all the people! But book treatments in time!

The food was pretty good!
What was bad was the treatment of the restaurant's staff where they were not engaged or interested in helping their customers

Snotty, arrogant people, both staff and guests. Very stiff atmosphere, did not feel relaxed at all, feels like I need to go to the spa after this spa stay to unwind the stress I acquired here.
Poor selection of pools and sauna. The central bath has a much better offer and the entrance is half of what we had to pay here.
The restaurant closed early, we arrived 10 min before the chef would close asked for ment, there was only shrimp salad and omelette to choose from, we went into the dressing room to change and then came back to order, then at least the kitchen had closed, no flexibility and lousy service.
Nothing to recommend at all ....

A charming spa getaway!

My friend and were looking for a spa to spend a day in while on vacation in Stockholm. We knew this is no Budapest when it comes to spas, but I've read a lot about this place, and decided to try.

We went there for a Spa Day on a business day, and it was totally worth it, the price wasn't really high, and it wasn't busy.

We came at 10 AM, were greeted by the lovely stuff that gave us towels and bath robes, and instructed us where to go. We went upstairs, figured out how to lock the lockers (really easy!), and went to the pool.

For some time there were only us and charming senior people.
We spent wonderful 6 hours there, swimming, bathing, chilling, relaxing in aroma room and really liked the Turkish bath too!
Sometimes we had to wait for some spots in hydromassage bath, but that's okay.
We have also had a nice lunch when we got hungry (the portions were huge and they had vegetarian options), and coffee and tea were also included.
You can pay for the meal by card on the spot, or just put the bill on your guest card and pay for it later as you check out from the facility. That's pretty handy!
There was drinking water almost everywhere, and complimentary fruit and nice tea selection.
All in all we felt great and had an awesome experience. Totally worth the ~60 EUR.

Not worth time or money spent. Poor service in a messy environment - not a spa but more like a gym with a tiny pool, bad lighting and old-school food meny. Staff slamming doors loudly near the " relaxation area " and wet towels all over changing room floor... embarrassing.

Lovely and exclusive place. Large pool. Fruit is offered. Elegant decor and high ceilings. Gym, beauty treatments, massages, etc. Should be experienced at least once!

Nothing further considering the water gym with disturbing loud music. Otherwise OK.

Lots of historic character but with modern facilities. Great food. The mindfulness massage was bliss.

Very nice place for a relaxing day. Love the aroma room but I wish the toilet and shower was not beside it so the noises don't bother the nap I will take there.
Tried the Turkish Hamam as well in the forth floor which was very nice.
The restaurang food was great but they can vary the menu with some healthy protein based dishes and we'll for those who train more.

has visited the bath for several years but has recently discovered the fun of reviewing and browsing the internet. you deserve this five :)

One of the better SPA and training facilities in town '. Varied range of treatments with skilled therapists. Light refreshments are offered.
The pool is a chapel in itself, as are the premises.

The spa is ok, have been to many better. The 1200 lunch spa day is definitely over priced. Salad buffet lunch. Expected more.

Very good massage!

Polite, professional and subject-skilled masseur (he with the nice beard ) who is also sharp at feeling the right level of how to treat me as a customer, both verbally and in the kneading itself!

Nice spa facility to be in the middle of town. Ie no proximity to the outdoor environment, a very small terrace hardly counts. Beautiful pool room. Ok food, nothing revolutionary.

Lousy service and not accommodating staff !! Terribly bad lunch buffet and not worth half of what it cost. So overrated! Will never go there again after the treatment we received and will definitely not recommend it to my friends. I was expecting a completely different level!

Not really worth the price for what's being offered. I kept looking around the place for more. I'll go elsewhere the next time.

Has been a member for a few years now and is mostly here to work out, take a sauna and have a quiet time. Friendly and welcoming staff and good facilities. Compared to other local gyms, the clientele is slightly more senior and tidy. During the weekend, most spa guests drink foam in a bathrobe.

Nice relaxing environment if you come on a weekday. Skilled instructors at the gym. An adult spa with common respect for relaxation. You only need to bring swimwear, you can borrow the rest, it also feels nice. Then there are also styling products available when you are done.

Best day at Sturebadet. Celebrated my daughter's 20th birthday with both full body massage and facial. The staff were fantastic and talented. Highly recommend to treat yourself to a full day at Sturebadwt

Great gym and decent spa for your everyday wellbeing. The best thing though is that it s pretty expensive so that deters the masses from getting a membership.

Lacks pools with varying temperatures and salts, as well as different temperate saunas with scents. Regular standard sauna, simple steam sauna and a small swimming pool in luxury packaging are not enough to satisfy me.

It is very strange that the bar / restaurant closes already at 5.30 pm on a Saturday night while the bath closes at 8 pm. It is at that time, after exercising and bathing, that you are ready for a glass and something good to eat !!

Has set Sturebadet's sauna record. Managed over two hours in 80 degree heat. That says it all about how much I love this place!

Absolutely not worth the money - have been three times and never thought it was something special. Nice environment and good gym facilities, but Sturebadet really has no choice for baths or saunas at all. Restaurant is always closed by the time you get there in the evening. It baffles me that the place is always full of people, when there is so little of value for money here. The inconvenient truth is that Centralbadet has 2 times more to offer for half the price.

Sturebadet has friendly and competent staff, good breakfast and services that cover all my needs. In addition, the hygiene and cleanliness at Sturebadet is of high quality, which is warmly appreciated.

Not crowded, great architecture. Really well kept. Loved it

Beautiful spa in the middle of Stockholm. Very upperclass and sometimes the fur-wearing-old-ladies (and men!!) will bring down the grade for this place but otherwise it s beautiful and well kept.

Charming environment, but service, food and drink lower the rating. The brunch buffet is road-level (and is not a buffet). "A glass of champagne & praline" turns out to be bass pumpkin (the staff who came out with the glasses could not even answer which one it was! "Someone from Mumm".) And a piece of advertising chocolate from Nespresso. And so on.

The staff has a very strange behavior and does not perform their duties properly. I can mention examples of three situations that made me very dissatisfied with the price I pay as a member and regular customer at Sturebadet !!!

1. A girl at the reception (who worked around lunchtime on 13/9) started teaching me how to use a thermometer correctly with an unpleasant tone even though I did the right thing from the beginning? I have been going to Sturebadet for a long time now and I know how to use a thermometer ... what are you trying to cling to?

2. I tried to ignore it and instead enjoy my stay at Sturebadet. What was less nice was that almost all the fruit that was on both floor 2 in the pool area and floor 4 in the Turkish bath was rotten and some had mold and tasted really bad so you could not even eat them - how long have they been there is the question ? It was actually quite stale!

3. On another occasion (a few days earlier) I did not have time to eat lunch at work and afterwards when I was on my way to Sturebadet I thought I would eat it there. However, when I get there, all the seats are occupied where you can eat food so I have only one choice and that is the restaurant. I thought I would eat it a little fast and go swimming - and what happens once I sit down and start eating my food? Well then a waiter at the restaurant comes up and starts scolding me in front of all the visitors that I can take my food and sit somewhere else because you are not allowed to eat there which made me really really shocked as his behavior was downright inhuman and rude, should I pay extra for some of your staff to have some respect and courtesy towards the guests at Sturebadet ??? I explain to him and also show that all places are occupied and I really have to get my food in while he still continues with his show that I should go. ZERO HUMANITY AND EMPATHY I JUST SAY !!!

As a member going on my 5th year I might be somewhat bias. Let me also ad that I've been Spa's in many many countries. Ps. Good does not mean great.

- Getting an exclusive membership and charging it to your employer or your company is great. Especially if you work 24/7
- Wide range of treatments.
- Turkish bath is good.
- The brunch is good.
- The regular menu is subpar and especially for those prices.
- Good gym facilities.
- Good services for companies.
- Great staff for the most part.
- Great looking people, well for the most part. Every once and a while you have elephants and witches attend the premises.
- A bit expensive but since we have high taxes in Sweden I don't blame them, the pricing also keeps the ghetto riff raff away, well for the most part.

They should not even be allowed to call this place Spa but in that case Bathhouse for pensioners because that is what it is.

0 stars for staff behavior going around shouting people's names in the spa while trying to relax

0 stars for the restaurant we ignored to eat there when the waiter was cheeky (What do you want) when I asked where to order

0 stars on the slippers feels like size 39 and On my way! Size for all also terribly poor quality and inappropriate to have at the spa get rubber instead

0 stars on the whole place very sunkissed and generally feels like a bathhouse only ....

Especially the price on the website they wrote that it cost 595 per person but when we arrive we have to pay a total of 1895. Because the other price is on weekdays. Since when did Friday become one. Holiday?

Poor customer service when my pregnant partner got a serious infection after visiting Sturebadet. Bad treatment and no compensation at all for her hospital stay really shows how rotten Sturebadet views customer service! Poorly bad !!!
