Luxury and old world. Super nice imployees. Great food and room.

Location was great. If you're looking for something private and quiet definitely recommend. Room was great but did not have a mini fridge. Not a huge issue but we had some food we had planned to keep cold. Complimentary breakfast was fantastic.

The food at the wedding we attended was good. Place was very nice and the staff was pleasant. The hor dourves during cocktail hour were amazing and plentiful!

Went to the grand buffet and it was delicious. So many great things to choose from. From fresh shrimp and many different types of salads to start right on through filet, stuffed chicken and fish along with pasta and many other sides for dinner. Dessert too, if you have room.

Brunch $30 a person. Lots of food options but food wasn't flavored much. Friday night seafood buffett $50 per person, i wasn't impressed with either. I was expecting more shell fish..and again i feel they don't season their food enogh .

It sounds cliche, but it s true- if we had all the time in the world to talk about our wedding at The Stroudsmoor Country Inn, it still would not be enough time to sing their praises. It was, in a word- perfection. Every single guest who was at our wedding said it was the best, most romantic and unforgettable wedding they have ever been to, and we owe it all to the incredible staff at Stroudsmoor. They ve won dozens of awards from many sites for their spectacular ceremonies and receptions, and it s not by accident. They ve earned each one and the many more that will assuredly keep coming.

From the very beginning we knew we had found a special place staffed with very special people. We looked at 12 different venues, but when we finally made it to The Stroudsmoor Country Inn, we knew it was the one. The venue- picturesque, something out of a fairytale. The staff- so friendly and accommodating we thought we were royalty.

In short (though this review has been anything but), having our wedding at The Stroudsmoor Country Inn was the best decision we ve ever made, outside of marrying each other :). From the gorgeous venues, the friendly and extremely attentive staff, and the variety of pricing options, getting married here is a must. This is one decision you will never regret.

Beautiful landscapes and amazing buildings. The restaurant has a superb menu - of which no items have been disappointing. Staff is welcoming, cordial, and respectable.

I attended a wedding here not too long ago and the site is beautiful. Open mountain view for the ceremony and reception. Not sure if catering is done separately for this venue, but the food was also great.

My fiancee and I are getting married at the end of this year and I just love how everything was just so simple. The professionalism is amazing. This place really makes a wedding couple feel like your a VIP. Our wedding coordinator is amazing. Strict and thorough but nothing short of amazing. I love this place and I can't wait to get married there.

Amazing atmosphere and beautiful property; however, rooms are severely outdated for the price and breakfast was at best just okay. I would come back for the ambience but that would be it. Nice pool, jacuzzi, and fitness area.

Absolutely no complaints. From beginning to end, Linda helped us create the perfect wedding. The organizational style of the staff is impeccable, and they all made our planning very easy. The salon is amazing and so is the food. The pictures were breathtaking and it was our best day ever. Highly recommend!

Recently visited this place for a wedding. Absolutely beautiful location and surroundings. Some of the wait staff could have been more professional but all in all it was a wonderful experience.

Is a very nice and cozy place, tucked away off the main road, offers a restaurant, pool, hot tub, fitness center, cottage style room, walking paths, event centers and much more. Was definitely a wonderful place to spend our honeymoon.

Beautiful setting. Food was delicious. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 was because they ran out of several of the main entrees. (They did have alternate entrees available).

Food is very good. Salad bar has a great assortment. Service was wonderful.

The room smelled like mildew and it looked like the inside of a coffin. The views were worth it.

Attended wedding. Service, atmosphere and foI'd was very good. Only complaint is that is was cold under pavilion and only two of four heaters worked.

Great food, friendly customer service, and got to see the Easter bunny. They were children friendly with setting and food. Unfortunately my children didn't eat much for the price. The buffet was crowned and hard to get around to all the food.

We came here for a wedding. What a beautiful venue! The food was excellent.

Great place to stay with comfortable surroundings, excellent food, and awesome bartender.

The event I attended was beautifully put together. It was raining and the parking lot was full. I was soaked. Even that isn't why I give it a single star. When the waitress asked if I wanted food, I explained my allergy. She brought me something from the kitchen making sure that I knew it did not have my allergen. Well....it did. My face is unrecognizable right this moment from the swelling caused by their irresponsible kitchen staff. I would attend this beautiful location again. But I won't be eating there, that's for sure.

I stayed with a friend recently who just had a wedding here at this stroudmoor country inn. I must say I was very disgusted an disappointed. The room was very old the Wall paper was falling off wall. The room was misty an you could smell the mold growing. I couldn t even walk barefoot in the room the carpet felt so damp. With the amount of money this place charged for these rooms are insane. My friend wedding was amazing an everything else besides the room was awesome. Just a little suggestion to whom ever rip out carpets an remodel the place it has a lot of potential.

The Inn was very comfortable. There was excellent food, the staff was polite, and the atmosphere was quaint. The grounds were a little difficult to navigate, but the staff did an excellent job providing direction

Super cool place. Very nice and well taken care of. It was dated and did show its age. Pool and hot tub were above average. We would definitely go back again. The breakfast was phenomenal; the waiter was very attentive and the food was great.

I have eaten here no less than 25 or 30 times. I have attended weddings on a couple occasions as well, They were very well done. The restaurant and the quality of food was very, very good at one time, as was the staff. The quality of food is typically above average. The biggest problem is with the current management and some of the wait-staff. If you are fortunate enough to get one of the good ones, you are in for a treat. Others will leave you wondering if you will ever see them. I've found them sitting behind the host station while on my way to the rest room, all the while, dishes are piling up on our table. With this being family owned, it is managed by family. That being said, a bloodline does not automatically qualify you for management. Their arrogance gets in the way of their customer service.

Excellent venue for a wedding we attended recently. Great views, but still private and has that "pocono" feel to it. Absolutely gorgeous in the fall!

The Stroudsmoor country inn is a beautiful place for a wedding reception. The wedding I attended was in the Ridgecrest building. There is a lovely room for cocktail hour with an outside patio. Then, one room over there is a reception hall with Windows all around with a beautiful view and a dance floor. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

My wife & I really enjoy the food that the Stroudsmoor serves. We have been going to their Thanksgiving Day buffet for 10 years now and wouldn't miss it for the world. One of the best things about this Buffet is no dishes or clean up after dinner necessary. Big win for both of us and I get to look like a hero for one day!!

Went to a wedding there place was very nice and great food

We have been coming here for over 15 years and stayed 30+ times. If you asked me three years ago to rate this place I would have given it five stars, but the quality, service, and general overall upkeep of the property seems to be going down. This time we stayed the blankets and sheets reeked of cigarettes. We had to switch rooms. That's plan unacceptable. Does anyone inspect these rooms? And little things, like when I went to the gym to go on treadmill and there were no clean wipes to clean off the equipment. Just disappointed

I went here to look into it as my wedding venue. It's a bit pricey for a wedding in December and they aren't really doing you any favors but it is really beautiful. I decided to go with a country club that was similar in price with more things added to the wedding package and the view at the place I chose was very similar to the one at Stroudsmoor. I've gone to parties here and other events at this location and they were all beautiful. Not 100 percent impressed, but it really is a great option for most people. They also kept us waiting for our scheduled appointment for about 25 minutes.

Took a tour of the facility to consider it as a possible wedding venue. The tour guide was extremely friendly and helpful. The place itself is beautiful, looks very well kept.

The venue was beautiful the day of, but the people can be frustrating to work with. What you talk about might not be reflected on your contracts, replies take longer than you would like. It seems like there's no real communication between people there.

Excellent venue for large weddings, great ridge-top views of rural valley pastures, attentive staff throughout the evening. Everyone enjoyed the wedding ceremony and large reception pavilion with dance floor, great food and views.

Went to a friend's wedding here, the chapel outside was beautiful and the reception was good. All the staff were friendly and helpful. I had a wonderful time here.

We went for dinner and inquired about the soup and salad bar. The waitress informed us the salad bar and cup of soup was $5:50 total. I questioned the waitress 3 times on the price. She confirmed. So we decided to go with the salad bar instead of a dinner. We sat down and started enoying our salad when a man came over without identifying himself and informed us the waitress erred in the price quoted and now wanted to charge us 3 times the amount. We responded that if it was that much we would have ordered a dinner instead. He started to brow beat us while we were eating to pay more. We politley refused. After dinner this women approached us and started pressuring us again to pay more. She blamed the waitress for giving us the wrong info as she was new and not trained.. not our problem as we would have purchased a dinner instead. She then started to insult us. At that point i informed her of her unprofessional behavior and left after paying and leaving a tip for our waitress. Also another waitress came by and quoted us the same price of what our original waitress stated which I informed the women so it was more than one waitress who misquoted the price for a salad bar. Hmmmm. Horrible treatment by management. Never given an apology just insults.

Attended a fundraiser. The service was impeccable food was delicious. Beautiful place.

Room was barely clean. Some of the desk staff were unfriendly. Dark rooms.

I love this place!!! Me and my other half s favorite place to stay when we want to get away. Food is amazing. The rooms are always beautiful and clean. The views are gorgeous! We stay at a different room every time and we re never disappointed. They have a bake shop as well and we make sure to always stop in their muffins are delicious! So thankful to have found this gorgeous place

The Striudsmoor Country Inn is fabulous. Been eating and enjoying lots if good times in the past 19 years. Our Host Trish and new waiter Edward couldn't be any happier and welcoming this afternoon. Thank you.
