I am pretty sure I do not have enough space to write everything I want too! My wife and I got married here and we can't rave enough about the staff and how our wedding turned out. It was beautiful, our guests were over the moon about how breathtaking everything was and how amazing the food was! Our wedding coordinator Corinne was more than supurd through the whole wedding process. Her and her assistant coordinator Crystal did everything to make our day perfect! Our floral decorator Sarah hit it out of the park with all the flower arrangments we wanted! Needless to say we absolutely love this place and the staff and would recommend it to anyone! We definitely plan to come back to renew our vows in 10 years :)

Hey we went to the brush buffet it was cool best part was the waiter told my gf there was no more creme Brule left she was sad and said she'll just have pudding my dude comes back and hands her a creme Brule says I found one for you I know some people will read this and say so what but it the little things that count in life that make you smile

Cabin setting. Wasn't what I expected. Doesn't look like it's represented on the internet. Room was cold. Place need a rehab. Breakfast was terrible.

Amazing wedding venue. Pleasant staff, great food, nice atmosphere and room for lots of guests.

My fiance and I visited for a wedding venue consultation. The staff and Anna, who showed us around the property, were super helpful. It was our first time ever looking for a venue and she answered all of our questions as well as gave us information on everything we forgot to inquire about. They set the bar very high for any other venues we visited. We would love to have our wedding here next year!

Friendly staff..it felt like spending the night at grandma's nice and cozy. The mountain views were great.

My fiancee and I are having our wedding here so we already had a good feeling. A few weeks ago when the Nor'easter hit our area we called Stroudsmoor to see if they had a room available for us. We had a wedding sampling there the next day and thought it would be nice to have a warm shower and bed to sleep in the night before. Our area had lost power very early the day before. We we're able to get the last room available. Upon arrival we quickly discovered that a weekend if the year that is normally quiet at Stroudsmoor had instead been transformed by displaced families all looking for some warmth and running water. The staff worked really hard to accommodate everyone. Upon talking to them it was clear that some of them had also been displaced because of the massive storm, and they were working extra hours to help out. Every where we looked we saw staff going above and beyond! Little touches here and there showed that they really cared. I had my children with me throughout this ordeal, they were not supposed to attend the wedding sampling the next day. The staff again accommodated our family by allowing us a very late check out so that my older children could hang comfortably in the room while we attended the event. The more staff we spoke to, the more we learned about Stroudsmoor and the family of staff members who work diligently to create a great experience for everyone. I was so incredibly impressed by how the staff pulled together. I should mention that Stroudsmoor itself had lost power and was running on generator for the entire duration of our stay. Staff members who were able to get in did so and worked extra hours to cover shifts. The very popular wedding sampling was attended by hundreds of people, no one the wiser to the alterations the staff needed to make behind the scenes. This place is a class act from start to finish! I could not be happier to have chosen this venue for our wedding celebration! It makes me feel good to spend money in a place that values their employees, where employees take pride in their work, and where the small touches are not overlooked. Thank you to the entire staff of Stroudsmoor for accommodating our family during such a difficult time. We appreciated the great food, heat, warmth from staff, and all the hope you had to go through to pull off such an amazing wedding sampling for your current and future couple's.

Lunch buffet and carving station is great. Service is nice. Location is convenient to lots of great day trip activities and natural areas.

If i could rate 0 stars i would. This place is a joke. About half of their cooking staff smokes weed. They also sell it to each other. Jared smith is one of them. They dont wash their hands. Food is old. The wedding venues are beautiful but the staff is horrible. All have attitude . rude. Nasty people ran by rich people. Ever looking to get some mj head to the kitchen

My husband and I hadn't been there in a few years.it used to be Good.all of the wait staff were not professional.the hostess especially was terrible.not what it used to be.I wouldn't go back again.its a shame we used to enjoy it.

Great wedding venue. The cabins/rooms were a little dates but overall the place is very nice and has wonderful views.

To me, this is a magical relaxing get away. Went for massages on Mother's Day with my sister's. They were incredible. Service by Stephanie was the best, and the massages were spot on!

Our 1st experience here. I highly recommend this place. The suites are beautiful, ours had a loft. The food is exceptional and the staff is courteous and very friendly.

We are planning our wedding here and had a chance to smaple their menu selections. We're pleased with their venues appearances and the main inn looks be well kept. We also had opportunity to eat lunch and tour the rooms. The seafood bisque at the main was amazing. Everyone was friendly and willing to help with any questions we had. We are excited to have our wedding here and looking forward to spend more time there. This is our 3rd visit in preparation for our wedding and the more we visit, the more we love it.

We had a great time staying at Stroudsmoor. The food is excellent, and the event spaces are top notch.

It's a very beautiful place fall kind of event. The food it's very good and the staffing phenomenal.

Very disappointed. I have had better dinning experiences @Stroudmore over the years. The waiter's 1st day on the job (just our luck....), but lets cut him a break. He did his best graciously......3.5 stars

Stroudsmoor Country Inn is stunning. Both in beauty and by the courtesy and care of their staff. My friend just got married here and it was honestly the lovliest wedding I've been a part of. The staff was very attentive amd generous, they offered every courtesy and so many fun oppeetunities and every one I spoke to was absolutely wonderful.

My wedding was this past weekend at woodsgate it was absolutely perfect. Barbara was my event planner and she did such a wonderful job. Her and her daughter Sarah made sure the day ran exactly as planned. I hope to have more parties there in the future!!

Went to check it out looks like a nice cozy country inn they also have an outside pavilion with music on wed. Nights til oct 31 from 4-10 pm and they have a larger venue for weddings and parties. Family style or buffet for Thanksgiving if your looking FOR a place for holiday and a Tree lighting check out the website

I'm planning my wedding to be at Stroudsmoor in the Woodsgate venue. Linda is fantastic to work with!

Their food is fine for a visit. Be careful, however, if you are planning a wedding. They would only take checks for installment payments, not credit cards, so you are not protected if something changes. Our "event" was cancelled three months ahead of time, allowing them ample time to schedule a replacement event, yet they refunded NOTHING. $20,000 lost, and it cost them nothing but a few hours if consulting time.

This jewel tucked in the hills of the poconos is a hotel part restaurant/event space that brings the needs and wanted of your event to the natural vistas and spectacle of the poconos. Beautiful space, cleaned well and maintained for the most part. Bartenders pour promiscuously, and always give service with a smile The catered food however leaves a lot to be desired. I don't know if this was due to the wedding parties choice or just unseasoned food. Doesn't bother me much since most catered food is not great. Breakfast buffet was great the next morning.

It is a huge property if you want a nature themed wedding then I would suggest going here. Didn t like that there was the possibility of 5 weddings at a time and if that s the case you can only prebook 20 rooms. The girl we met with was new it seemed and the venue didn t really try to sell us on anything. Would have liked a planner with some selling skills.

Nice setting, good event / holiday buffets. Plan on putting a deposit on your reservation. Food is good.

Held a banquet here, beautiful place. Stayed afterwards at the inn and was nicely accommodated. Can't wait to go back!

Attended a wedding at the Woodland Chapel venue. Everything was great from the food to the waitstaff to the venue itself. Highly recommended and would go back again.

I attended a 100+ person party here, food was good, drinks were strong, and the waitstaff were on point.

Kurt and his team were incredible and took great care of us throughout our entire stay. Kurt went as far as to upgrade us, free of charge, to a room that had a porch so we could enjoy the beautiful outdoor weather. This place is great and the highlights for us were the personal and friendly staff, the beautiful property, and the wonderful breakfast we had every morning!

Amazing food, epic views, high end facility for weddings/events.

Service was good, but the food wasn't as good as I remember it being during my most recent visit.

The place was very clean, the staff was very friendly and courteous. My only complaint was that the faucet was broken in the bathroom and I found out lady tonight

We had our wedding at the Stroudsmoor Country Inn s Pavilion in June 2018 and it was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. Despite being one of their newer venues, our wedding was absolutely beautiful and everything was run so smoothly.

Our guests are still raving about how delicious the food was, including the rehearsal dinner and the brunch the following day, and all of the decorations were absolutely beautiful!

All of the people we encountered at Stroudsmoor, our event coordinators Linda and Victoria, the lodging team, the floral team, and everyone in between was dedicated to helping us to have the best wedding ever, and treated us like we were a part of their family. During our wedding reception, we had a personal attendant who helped to make sure that we got fed, which was so helpful as the day flew past us!

Having your wedding at Stroudsmoor means that you will work with a wonderful team who does everything in their power to make your job easy and your day go smoothly. Everything was absolutely wonderful and we very highly recommend having your wedding here!

Good staff beautiful room
But sofa bed was basically nothing for a mattress and heat wouldn t calm down room got suffocating, neighbors upstairs wouldn t go to sleep kept waking us up.
Parking was alright. Food was good and wait staff, but one person serving the breakfast buffet was rude.
But aside from that it was a great hotel overall and they were kind.

Received a venue tour and was quite impressed with the thoroughness of the staff. All locations on site were impressive as were the operations.

We stayed in room 66, a cabin suit, after a wedding at Ridgecrest. Our stay was terrible! After the wedding, reception, and after party all we wanted to do was soak in the jacuzzi tub before hitting the hay but there wasn't any hot water (this was near midnight). Then, the bed was actually the worst bed I've ever felt. It's an old school spring mattress with no padding. And to top it off, sound carries extremely well in the building so we could hear every footstep from our neighbors and even the walkie-talkie conversations amongst maintenance workers.
I do not recommend anyone to stay there! To be fair though, the wedding was really wonderful and the food was good.

Food was good, but not exceptional. The service was good, as expected.

Overall it was the best choice we made to have our Lord of the Rings themed wedding even though there were hiccups here and there but it all still went smoothly. Best day ever!

This is absolutely scenic and most soothing place to spend your quality time. Although our room had some minor problems but the ambiance of this place just took away all the discomfort from us.Highly recommended place for me

We were there for a wedding and it was beautiful. The food was delicious, the venue was beautiful. My only complaint would be that there was a fan blowing loudly through the wedding service that made it hard to hear.

Beautiful setting, cozy rooms, fantastic helpf ul staff, and a great breakfast. If in the area it is highly recommended.

Have been there 3-4 times and was excellent every time! Our HOG Chapter did a Thanksgiving dinner there that was to die for!
Have been there couple times for Sunday brunch. Amazing!
I always joke around about how I could have had only the salad and still would have been pleased and satisfied!
Food is always fresh, hot, cooked perfectly, and tastes amazing!
Will be back!

We visited for our early family Christmas dinner. The food on the buffet was ok. More choices for salad toppings would be a recommendation. The choices were ok, not spectacular for the venue and price. We do very much enjoy the ambiance and holiday decor. The grounds and buildings are beautiful.

The company Christmas party is held there every year and the place is beautiful with all the lights. Food was excellent and the the staff is top notch.

Very nice , antique looking hotel. Lots of parties and weddings are held here. the restaurant and bar are very classy and nice.

Top notch, place, food, service,wedding was terrific, ,very scenic place for wedding pictutes. For a place to serve almost 400 the way they did u would have to give them 5 stars.
