Great beer and food. Will definitely come back her...
Great beer and food. Will definitely come back here.

Great beer and food. Will definitely come back here.
Great food and the Belgians were world class, try Andy's stout, service was excellent,
Food and beer was excellent! The grain bowl was different than what I expected but was very flavorful and delicious. The kitchen closes really early, 7:30pm, even on weekends so keep that in mind. We weren t able to get on the waitlist when we arrived at 6pm because the kitchen would have closed before we got seated. Thankfully we can back the next time and were seated well before the kitchen closed.
Very close to beach. Can get very busy in the evenings. However, there are many shops around to pass the time while you wait. We were seated fairly quickly. Lots of great beer on tap. Nice variety of appetizers and entrees. All food was pretty good. There is seating inside or out on the patio. There is also a nice common gathering area to just enjoy a drink, or two. Hostess and waitstaff busy, but attentive and friendly Live music the night we were there.
Food was very good and service was phenomenal! I was amazed to see how thoroughly and quickly they cleaned the tables in between customers!
It's BACK!!!!! Got lucky and stopped in for lunch and they have Farthest Shore on tap again starting today! Best beer on the planet.
Got there on a Friday evening, place was busy and was told it would be a 40-45 minute wait. Totally understand that. Was offered to go to bar, get some drinks and popcorn and wait in the courtyard. 45 minutes went past no big deal. Got to an hour so I went to check with hostess. Said we were still about 15 minutes out, even though there was an empty table sitting vacant for 5 minutes. Finally got text 5 minutes later and asked if the table outside was ours. Was told no that it was for someone that was before me (so table was empty for ten minutes). Was led to a table not cleared off yet inside. Waiter came a few minutes later to take drink order and appetizer. Upon completion of that order he told us the kitchen is backed up an hour! Live in the area and can definitely say we won't be back.
So amazing! Awesome staff, awesome beer! Can't miss if you're in Frankfort
Trash. Sat down at the bar (last and only seat available), waited 10 minutes. Bartender finally acknowledged me, said, "We normally don't seat people here." Called manager over, both rolled eyes, manager said, "I'll be with you in a moment." Left instead and will take my business elsewhere.
Stopped here for beer & apps after long bike ride to Beulah and back. All their own draft brews and there are about 20 to choose from. They give beer tastes so you can find something you'll like. My wife and I split a chicken salad sandwich on naan bread which was very delicious and their new Mac & cheese with real good bacon crumbled which is absolutely the best I have ever had! You gotta get the Mac & cheese. Prices are bit less than average. Outdoor seating available.
Well set up for COVID. Limited menu but, all the beer. The Chedder Cheese and Creamy Tomato soup are wonderful on a cool day..
We love this brewery. We only visit a few times a year, but that's because it's nearly three hours away. Cool Cat Kitty Face is my favorite on tap, one of the few beers available whose name is worthy of its awesome beer. Food is great, but perhaps most importantly are the people working there - their front of house is incredibly friendly and welcoming.
Both beers were very good. They also have fresh made popcorn with real butter and garlic with shredded parm. Cheese on top. Very good!
Food is overpriced and service was passable. Beer is also passable as Michigan breweries are concerned, but hey, they've got great marketing.
Great beer. Good atmosphere. Small menu but the food is very decent albeit simple. Highly recommend
Really great stop with a range of beer and food options. They have a good variety of unique spins and traditional food options. It can be busy on warm summer nights, but it s definitely worth the wait!
Really great place. The pizza was tasty and the naan with the sandwiches was an interesting touch. They also do a good job with keeping the outside tables spaced enough for social distancing
Great beer and very good food... Laid back atmosphere. Our first visit, but we hope to return when in the area.
Beer was fantastic and when going to a brewery thats what you expect. Food was above average and would eat there again. The Beertenders were very fun engaging people. Made the trip enjoyable.
This is a place we stop at every time we come to Frankfort. They have nice indoor and outdoor seating, a decent beer selection and a great menu. Thanks!
Cute. Waited a little bit for seating but good service and good food
great food and atmosphere. would definitely visit again!
We absolutely LOVE this place! This isn't just a place to stop at, it's a destination! The best beers in the state and atmosphere is great! We just enjoyed a bowl of the cheddar ale soup and even that is excellent!!! Enjoy!
The food and beer are always excellent. The service was spot on; special thanks to Lily, she was an outstanding server! Best service I've had in a long time.
Outstanding beer selection. Pizza to die for. Very friendly staff. I think I should move to this town just so I can go to sStormcloud Brewing.
Really good beers and a great pizza and brat. I would eat here any time I'm in Frankfort! Good stuff
Really good beer and food. Friendly wait staff, though not overly attentive.
Great service, great food and great beer.
Checked in us often made sure we had everything we wanted and needed.
Can not wait to go back!
Found this spot on our way up North. Was super happy to see the bike racks out front and very high quality of locally sourced food. I got the sense the owners were really thoughtful in their operations, everything from a family friendly ambience to an environmental conscious way of doing business. And of course, a great combination of super solid food, lovely patio area, and award winning beer. Total gem.
Found this place last year. Now an annual stop. Awesome beers. Good food.
Stopped in for lunch on a Sunday. Good thing we got there before noon. By the time we left they were lined up on the sidewalk to get it. What does that tell you? I can t comment on the beer as we don t drink it but my wife gave the cider high marks. Food was fabulous. The pizza special was to die for. This is a great place to eat. Service also top notch. We will be back.
If there were 6 stars I'd award them all. I can't remember the last time I enjoyed a dining experience this much. Very reasonably priced menu, pizza may be in my top 10 ever (Stormavore: comically horrible name, but wow), and superior service. I had the pleasure of being served by Katherine who was excellent, attentive, and worth waiting for a table with her. She's an excellent representative of the establishment. Oh yeah, the beer was fantastic too. If I lived near here, I'd be a regular customer. An over-fed alcoholic one, but a regular nonetheless. Special alert to my fellow over-55-Americans: you are WELCOMED here with open arms. This is one of the rewards of that American dream we've been working for. Get out and vote to make sure free enterprise can flourish.
This place makes fantastic beer. The staff is fun and friendly. Food is good and you can learn to Curl during winter months while enjoying it all.
The beer was pretty solid and the bacon grilled cheese was on point. The place was busy and didn't have the best layout for the people waiting in line, which probably gets unruly in the summer. Overall worth a trip if you're in the area! Stop by the breakwater afterward.
Good craft brews, even if you aren't a Belgian fanatic. Great food, with vegan options! Staff was polite and helpful, and there is a cool garden on the side of the building with veggies, herbs, and hops. Building is also very cool.
Reuben sandwich, mac n cheese, chilli, and chips delicious. There 2020 harvest, Gerald's dog and imperial star beers are great.
I did not have a chance to try the food, but I did try a lot of the brews and was pleasantly surprised. The Belgian style beers actually taste like good Belgians, the IPAs were hoppy and overall all of the brews were full of spectacular flavor. This is a must if in Frankfort. Do not skip this place! Seems like it's always busy but after tasting those flavors, it is absolutely no surprise, and most definitely worth the wait. On top of all of this, they also have a lawn were they will accomodate you if you're here with your pet. Awesome Brewery! Keep up the great work
Great atmosphere... great outdoor space. Got caught in a storm. No one will lwave to get a table
Great location, a very scenic town. Great Belgian Style beers.
Fun atmosphere, friendly staff. Very friendly! Good food choices, cool merchandise.
Did i mention award winning beer?
The food was good but the portions were very small considering the price and there was not a lot of food options. Over all would try not to eat here.
Stormcloud crafts some of the best Belgian style beers outside of Belgium. The best food of any brewery in the area.
Love their disappearing porter! The service is great and their food an brews are phenomenal. Highly recommend!
Good beer, good food, and laid back casual atmosphere.
Great beer and amazing pizza! Servers are also super friendly
Loved my dairy free pizza! So yummy and my baby was fine. He s the reason I am eating dairy free. I will be back!! Thank you!!
Their craft beers are great. My wife and I tried 8 different kinds between us since they offer 4oz samplers. The food was a good, not a large menu , but we both enjoyed what we had. They also offer 32oz cans to take home if you find a beer you really like. Highly recommend stopping in for a visit!
Ate here last night with a group of four. Whiled Away (IPA), Disappearing Porter, Rainmaker Ale (pale ale), and Birdwalker Blonde (golden ale) all received rave reviews. Caprese pizza and Stormevore pizza were excellent.
The food was good but the portions were very small considering the price and there was not a lot of food options. Over all would try not to eat here.
Amazing beers and friendly staff/environment. Always love to see Belgian style beers do so well. I was very impressed with the quality of the beer
We ordered some appetizers and they were good. Place clean. Busy place. Waitstaff were friendly as well.
Disappointed in many areas. Long wait, simple menu, they wanted to charge me per cup of coffee, I watched my waiter have a conversation at a different table for 12 minutes while I waited for him and the ambiance has a very long way to go to even begin to reach Shorts or Bells. I think better communication between wait staff could help.
Solid beer. Good food. Just happened upon this place, and im glad i did. Im a big craft enthusiast, and this beer is worth planning a stop for.
Service was excellent, the stormavore flatbread pizza was delicious and the IPAs I had were fulfilling fantastic. The atmosphere was inviting, renovated and fresh. Need I say more?
Stop by this establishment if your in Frankfort!
You won't be disappointed!
Great food, atmosphere great and our waitress, Shelby, was awesome!!
Had lunch today in a "Thunderdome." It was super cool to have a cozy and safe way to eat out during this pandemic. Our server Daniel was absolutely amazing, giving great recommendations for beers and food as well as hikes in the area. Went with my husband on a well needed trip outside our quarantine bubble and will remember the visit for a long time!
Be prepared for a wait on Friday or Saturday night, but it s worth it. Great beer and tasty food.
I would love to review the food, the drinks, and the atmosphere but I can't. Despite being listed as a dog friendly restaurant, it is anything but dog friendly. My wife was rudely informed that our dog was not welcome on the patio or on a grassy enclosure with some crude picnic tables. No, we were told to tie her to a bike rack on the main thoroughfare without so much as a modicum of shade. Don't buy the lie. This establishment doesn't know the meaning of dog friendly. At least have the decency to admit that fact instead of drawing dog owners to your dive.
Super staff, beer was VERY good, fodd was tasty and creative.chips are a bit peppery....too spicy for kids
Stormcloud Brewing Company in Frankfort Michigan is a northern Michigan gem! Set in a tiny tourist town it serves great beer uniquely named such names as Rainmaker. The food is good, served hot and you get a nice sized portion.
Awesome food, especially for a brewery, fun atmosphere with a patio addition. The market salad was exceptional and flat bread pizza unique and delicious .
Great food, a wide selection of good beer, and reasonable prices. Nice place with a cool atmosphere.
Storm coming in so we stoped in for lunch. Good beer. Got the lite one. Goood
Beer was great!!! Nice to see a, quite impressive variety of Belgians and Belgian/American Ales. After a long day mountain biking the beer and creatively delicious pizzas hit the spot. Ower and staff couldn't have been nicer. Overall a must stop in NW Mich.
I domt write reviews, but you must avoid this place. We went here to get a table for 9. Told the wait would be 60 minutes. We left after 2.5 hours with no table. Other people had been waiting at a table for 2 hours with no food. We were also called 1.5 hours into our wait and told our table was ready. After giving up our picnic table, waiting with 4 kids , we were told that they called the wrong number.
Great beer, however, I wasn't fond of the food selection, too bizarre for me.
Food is mediocre but pricey which I guess I should expect from a tourist town. The beer is decent not exceptional but decent. Service is knowledgeable and friendly.
Beer was good. Food was okay. Service was slow and inattentive. Probably would try something else next time.
Beer and food, great!!!!! It took about 15 min before anyone came to take our order, and the salad and flat bread took about 30 min after we ordered... but every sip and bite we took was worth it!
Awesome brewery in a great small town! A must stop and see.
Excellent! If you like Belgian beer and great food you must come here!
Love those Belgians! So nice to have amazing Belgian inspired beer fight here in Michigan, and in beautiful Frankfort. A welcome change from all the IPAs (also delicious but beer is more than hops)!
I keep coming back here every time I'm in the Frankfurt area (which is often in the summer) Popcorn is amazing to snack on when drinking. I love their beers and the pizza is pretty good too. It may be a little pricey but I've never been disappointed trying any of the brews.
I'll start off by saying that we are blown away by the food. We ordered the Stormchos [one word - dankchos] & the Stormivore pizza [flatbread local perfection]. We got carryout and the food was plenty hot when when got home! Didn't have time to sit down for a taste of the mead this go around, but hopefully next time. Very inviting atmosphere. If you're visiting Frankfort, visit Stormcloud Brewing
Update:
Great beer, good service, good environment, decent food. Good food choices, medium priced for what you get, and they added burgers. Unfortunately only get burgers once a week, but still good.
My family and I visited today and unfortunately had very poor service. I do understand that these are difficult times, and I do not like to post negative reviews, but I was less than impressed.
Wow, great food and beer. Oh I forgot great service. A must stop place.
