Beautiful nice and clean. But long wait on the register

The place is the most best place I've been to ill hope to go to it most of the time

The prices are too high. The location is incounvience. But the variety is good. But for the price and distance from my house I can go to Whole Foods

It's always something extra there that is upsetting. Whether it be the customer service or being denied service because of their extra rules.

They definitely need delivery for customers during this covid-19 time period;but rather than that everything is ok

Standard Big grocery store. Plenty of parking. Accommodates seasonal needs

It is one of the more decent grocery stores in Rockaway but fail to keep meat and others stocked. I often have to go to multiple stores cause I can't get everything I need out of that one store.

Shop here often. Produce is decent. Staff is ok. Parking is good. Only complaint is when store is having a special promotion on item, it's not consistently stocked.

So so busy yesterday. Lines for checking out were a bit hectic. Nobody really knew where to stand etc.

Picture this... 5:30 p.m. on Christmas eve, 8 to 10 shoppers including myself was told the store was closed. The store closes at 6 on Christmas eve. I politely asked for a manager , the reply, (shouting at us) the store is closed. I left because yhe crowd was becoming angry and more shoppers were cominh, my husband drive me a few blocks away to Key Food, which has a wider selection of almost everything compared to Stop N Shop. The meats at Key Food were alot fresher in comparion and the staff were in great holiday spirits.

Not a good experience, stood on the customer service line for about 10 -15 mins for the customer service rep to tell me there was not any money order paper. Wasted my time, there should have been a sign posted

The produce are fresh only thing a little princely .

Way bette selection then Beach 116th. Especially if you're allergic, vegetarian or vegan.

Great customer service the line's move fast no long wait

They need a better seafood department it's not so fresh and has a spoiled smell other than that great place

There ready to feed Similac advance need to be taken off the shelf. The date good.. however the milk is discolored and made my one month old vomit and have diarrhea. I return the milk to another location.

Very thoughtful implementation of social distancing. Very nice inventory of produce, fish, and seafood.

I love drop and shop it's a variety throughout the store and mostly I like the 10/10buy 10 for only 10 dollars

Listen most of these supermarkets are pretty much the same. But the pharmacy at this stop and shop is A+. Helpful polite and the price is great if u use the Good Rx app!! My only issue at this location that needs a boost is attitude in the DELI! IF U STAND NEAR THE DELI COUNTER,THE GOSSIP IS NUTS FROM THE EMPLOYEES! I can't imagine people saying the things they talk about in the open of customers. And the woman are truly the worst. All in all,it's a decent store and u can see they try to keep it clean.

The fact that this location is so accessible is great for locals as well as Visiting beach goers. You could either do your food shopping for +he week or grab a bottle of sun tan lotion. Either way you're covered.

The store was well stocked, staff was helpful and nice.

Sometimes cant find certain things that I like. The deli department has very nice people working there. Overall like it.

Overall, a good local supermarket. Downside, is they constantly fluctuate their prices (usually higher).

This is my local supermarket that's really close to home. The prices are decent and can't complain much about the serve you get from the deli dept. Some workers are quick and take care of you right away. So in all love this supermarket.

This location always closes 10 minutes before 10p.m. When I asked the young man why, his reply was, the security guard always does it. That doesn't make it right. Also, its obvious that there is new management. Its always dumpy, filthy with trash, filthy floors and never, ever will I find a cart. Leafy produce looks old. Forget about finding a shopping basket. I also overheard a Hispanic supervisor make a comment about, "We are near the projects, I can't wait to close the doors". Thats just distasteful, she didn't care about myself and another shopping overhearing her disgusting comments. Update.... Christmas Eve 2017, they closed the doors about 45 minutes earlier than advertised for holiday hours. NOT COOL. About 16 shoppers were outside upset, while the rude security personnel told everyone to go home as he barricaded the doorway with a fliers rack and held the doors closed as patrons inside were exiting. I requested the Store Manager got no reply. I left with my husband, when patrons began to get loud. Usually, the Store is always messy, poorly upkeep. Bless your soul if you can find a cart for shopping PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THE RAW MEATS. Seafood is ridiculously overpriced. I stopped shopping for their meats because they were expired on at least 7 occasions, between my experience and my husband, the shelving for the raw meat is always bloody, wet or dried, and cruddy looking. Their prices can be a bit ridiculous in comparison to Key Food which is located about 6 long blocks away. BTW....Key Food has stepped up their game. Very worldly with products on the shelves, freshest clean meats, very fresh produce and better pricing. Key Food is worth the walk when you don't feel like driving

Lots of variety to choose from and good deals as well

This Stop and Shop is by far not the best when it comes to Stop and Shops. However it's not the worst supermarket. It's large with lots of items. Only thing is there is not much when it comes to variety. The employees always look unhappy. Their rotisserie chickens are usually burned. Sometimes the checkout lines are long and that's including the self checkout line. Plus they start closing down areas of the store way before closing. Bottom line, this supermarket isn't welcoming.

WASTE OF TIME: You have to watch the prices when items get scanned or else it's time waiting and waiting on the Customer Service line for you! Other places the cashier refunds you right there on the spot but here it's a trip to the CS Dep't. Missed my train dealing with this nonsense where their advertised pricing doesn't square up with their computers so I was late to work...and here's the real kicker -- the sales aren't even that impressive! So big and spacious but employing little false advertising gimmicks like this as if I were at a neighborhood bodega where they just make things up depending on how they feel. I've never had a good experience at Stop & Shop no matter the location so I'm giving up on them. I took a photo of their sales tag but when I finally got to their rep I just wanted all my money back instead of having them do an "investigation" (sending someone out to check on the price): WASTE OF TIME.

It is the super that I have closest. I always find what I am looking for and they have good prices with fresh provisions.

All I wanna say about Stop & Shop is that every time I shop there, there's always a big sale in that Supermarket. That's why I always go there & shop for what I need in my apartment. As long as ppl be wearing their masks, it shouldn't be an issue. Until next time, I'll be shopping there again.

This Stop and Shop is Huge!!!!!! Bright and clean. We'll displayed and clean.

I can always find what I need at this stop & shop and the isles are alwas nice neat and clear to pass through. There is always parking available and i just love the self checkout.

The best out of all the supermarket always have good sale and everything fresh

This store is not only lacking customer service professionalism but the food on the shelves are always old, poorly displayed and lack in variety. The only good service in this entire store is the pharmacy department. All other staff members appear to be upset if a customer asks for help and most of them are clueless on where to guide customers when seeking an item. Very disgruntled employees and very poor conditions of the store. It's a shame that this is the store us Arverne by the Sea residents are subjected to. I've opted out of shopping at this store and have had a much better shopping experience at the Key Food on Beach 87th Street. The customer service professionalism, the fresh and variety filled food products are worth the extra 5 minute drive. Good luck to those that shop at Stop and Shop.

Isles need to be relabelled for easier access to goods.. Staff friendly, supermarket clean

I give this store 2 stars for the cleanliness, minus the 3 stars for the lack of customer service training for the employees, especially the seafood clerks in the back. If you don't like to serve customers to keep the business successful, then get in the back and don't show your face, because your attitude is so unpleasant, it stinks like the fish behind the display case....

THE WESTERN UNION IS GREAT,IF THEY WOULD ALSO CASH MONEY ORDERS THEY WOULD BE PERFECT.

This place has good prices but sometimes it gets real buzy everything is always fresh and the meat is always good prices sometimes they have manager specials and i get nice steak for cheap

I love my Stop & Shop sales. Staff is very friendly and helpful if needed. I am a regular..love it.
