This store is not only lacking customer service professionalism but the food on the shelves are always old, poorly displayed and lack in variety. The only good service in this entire store is the pharmacy department. All other staff members appear to be upset if a customer asks for help and most of them are clueless on where to guide customers when seeking an item.
Very disgruntled employees and very poor conditions of the store. It's a shame that this is the store us Arverne by the Sea residents are subjected to.
I've opted out of shopping at this store and have had a much better shopping experience at the Key Food on Beach 87th Street. The customer service professionalism, the fresh and variety filled food products are worth the extra 5 minute drive.
Good luck to those that shop at Stop and Shop.
