We did work for them. When we contacted them for payment they said that they were unable to issue payment because the issued two PO with the same number. They are refusing to pay their bill because of their own bookkeeping problems

Excellent Company to work for. Lots of support and opportunity for advancement. Pay surpasses the normal for the area. Company is expanding at a fast rate.
I dont know about their service but their drivers are bullies on the freeway. I was run off the road and I watched the other truck cut off a few other drivers. I should have called the police but I think this is more effective.
Worked with Steve and Bill on an OD load recently. Their service and communication was nothing but flawless. It is great to find carriers like this during these crazy times. Definitely pleasant to work with and reliable. Look forward to the next time our paths cross. Thank you!
01-28-19, 10:45 AM. Stone Transport Driver on I-94 Tractor 21743 was driving like a maniac in extremely bad snowy conditions. Speeding in snow covered left lane causing white outs and forcing cars off the road. Very unsafe and no regard for the safety of others. I'm going to report this to the MI State Police!
They were great at the start, looked like a dream job from the beginning. Until I started to learn the more inner workings that is. They offer new drivers hundreds more a week than drivers that have been there and when you try to ask for a raise, they'll tell you that they'll think about it and never end up giving it to you. They act friendly towards you and treat you like family until you get a better offer and let them know you're moving on in your career. That's when things really hit the fan. They'll tell you that you can bring thr truck back to their yard in Saginaw and they'll "help" you get home. The way they say it makes it sound like they'll fly you home at no cost to you. Ha, no... They make you pay for most of the flight home, all transportation to and from the airport [which they blatantly lie about the price of.] And after all is said and done and you're back home waiting to start your new job? They'll take every cent of your final paychecks from you coming up with any B.S. reason they can to not pay you what you're owed leaving you and your family hurting for money in the meantime. Long story short? They act friendly and on the surface, look great. But looks can be deceiving. Don't work for Stone Transport.
So far it's been a good job learning a lot great place to learn skills you might not have yet my dispatcher is really friendly and helpful my trainer was really patient never got loud with me (u know the type) Eric during interview explained in detail what was expected of me after being hired only issue I had was the week of Thanksgiving after all my training I sat home then the following week worked full time generally I start at 6 am and never get out earlier then 4 pm to 9 pm latest all kinds of hrs. To be had I would recommend this job not just to you people but even people in my circle of friends and family

Worked for stones Detroit yard 1 1/2 yrs I moved to Virginia so I had to leave but I absolutely loved it here the company as a whole is great they offer great pay great insurance and great trucks the office staff in Saginaw is the best I plan on moving back to Michigan and I resubmitted my application BTW just like every company there's drivers who don't make the cut that's where your negative reviews come from
I worked for Stone out of San Angelo, Tx and Stone as a company is a joke. The manager for the Brady yard and San Angelo yard is a two face liar. They talk about safety but that is all they do is talk because they don't care as long as the job gets done. I worked there for a few months and quit. Their trucks are not safe and they promise a certain amount of money and don't deliver. The manager has no ideas how to run a company and doesn't listen to his drivers. I have been employed as a manager before and this is no way to treat your drivers. The yard in San Angelo is a joke cause there is nothing there, can't even check your tire pressure or clean your windows unless you provide it out of your own pocket. The yard is over run with weeds and is a safety hazard, because who knows what is hiding in the weeds especially at night. They want you to drive 75 mph at all times and don't take in to consideration that there are times you can't cause of the weather or road conditions. The people I have talked to on the phone are very arrogant as is the manager for San Angelo. Anything goes wrong with your truck and he expects you to go to Brady to get it fixed. He is running recaps on the trucks and for the amount of weight you carry anyone with a little common sense knows not to do that cause you will blow your tires and that is what is happening. He wants the drivers to load first and then get fuel and anyone that has been a driver knows that will put you over weight and I have heard him say that if you get a ticket he knows nothing about it and it's on you. I suggest that if your looking for employment please look elsewhere. This company is a joke or at least the persons I've talked to. Miguel Maskill Sr.
Stone Transport is a great place to work. I've been around this industry since 2006, and have worked as a driver, owner operator, trainer, a broker, dispatcher, recruiter and currently a driver manager. I've seen how a lot of companies operate and I'm very happy and proud to be a part of the Stone Team today. We truly value the individual and what each member brings to the table. I've recommended Stone to several of my friends and helped successfully bring a couple of them on board. If you work hard and smart, Stone will take care of you and offer excellent potential and room for growth, whatever your role in this industry may be!
Worked here since Oct last year, Injured myself on the job in March and got dropped off at the Dr. and Terminated.. Never had any contact with any kind of Workers Comp. until after I contacted a lawyer then they claimed to have had a complaint against me.. Just worked 80 hrs the week before?? If you have had this type of problem as well reply on here my lawyer would love to hear from you! I'm probably not the first but I want to make sure I'm the Last!
Your driver on M52 in Manchester should lose his license. He tailgated me for over a mile and refused to slow down despite my left turn signal and flashing brake lights. He nearly killed me. Had I been able to get a plate number I would be calling the police instead of posting.
Well James G aka Amaduscias, in referance to your posted review it sounds like you were not cut out for the job, couldn't hack it. No worries, not all applicants are. Only the hard working, motivated, and self starters are successful here. As for me. I've been a OTR driver here for almost a year now and I have to say that Stone Transport has to be the best Transportation company I have ever worked for. The support I receive as a Driver from the whole team is TOP NOTCH! Very professional! They pay me well and take care of me when I'm in town and for that I would bend over backwards for this company. Great place to work if your a hard worker. Come join the TEAM.
