Wonderful experience! Everyone is so professional! The owner Kelly was so knowledgeable and help. The install crew was on time, polite and did a great job. They also did a great job cleaning up. Would highly recommend to anyone! My kitchen and bath came out beautifully!
One of the worst customer service experiences i have ever had. Months to get a phone call back and they will not do anything about the issue. Promises to call but they never happen. If your walls are anything but PERFECTLY SQUARE be aware they do not scribe to your wall. Our front reveal has a 1/2" difference over 3 feet of run. Nothing was ever said that they would not scrib to the wall.
This is the second project we did using KSI. Kelly and all of the employees are so professional. The stone/granite selections are wonderful, installation was great and the granite in both the kitchens and bathroom looks fantastic. Thank you Kelly for all of your patience and doing another fantastic job. I will add pictures once we get the backsplash in.
Great place to help you with you countertops and remodel needs
I called Knoxville Stone Interiors on Tuesday, August 19, 2014 and scheduled a measure appointment with Jesse for two days later, Thursday, the 21st. The gentleman that measured my kitchen for counters was prompt, polite and professional. He was in and out of my house in less than 30 minutes. I paid a 50% deposit and was only asked to sign a simple one-page price estimate. My New Venetian Gold granite counters were delivered and installed SEVEN days later on Thursday, August 28, 2014. It was SO FAST. They were seamless (hurray!), and the installation crew was prompt and personable. They finished the installation quickly and professionally. I couldn't have asked for more. The how process from measure to installation was fast, easy and, honestly, enjoyable. I will use them over and over and over again!
I called Knoxville Stone Interiors around the beginning of November 2014 and asked if they could do a rather small island counter top job that measured about 10 x 4 . I spoke with a gentleman named Jesse, who assured me that the job was not too small and that they would be happy to give me an estimate. Within a few days they were out to give me a bid of slightly under a thousand dollars (Black Pearl Granite), which I thought seemed fair. It was 50% deposit and the balance on completion.
After a couple days I made a some calls around to a few other companies and got similar bids (most of them more) over the phone since we had measurements and the exact kind of granite. We decided to go with Knoxville Stone Interiors, put down the deposit and scheduled an installation for a few weeks later. About 10 days later we get an email stating that they had the counter top in stock and would like to confirm the installation appointment. We agreed on the date but I noticed on the invoice that the price was lowered by almost fifty percent. Thinking they made a mistake, I sent an email pointing out the obvious price error.
Next, to my surprise, they mentioned that they had gotten a remnant piece in (from a larger job), and it matched exactly so they did not need to charge me the full price. When the installers came out they quickly took our old cabinet off and installed the new one, professionally and very courteously. I am very impressed with the quality of my new granite counter top, and even more impressed with the integrity of this local business. They were so great at working with my sister on her kitchen and bath! The rooms look like brand new. The counter tops fit so well and compliment the space. My sister is so happy. I can t wait to work with them in my home!
I should have went with a different company for Countertops, they had to remove mine several times because they couldn t get the seams satisfactory, I ended up having to deal with it because they couldn t make it right...Would not recommend when there are better choices in the area!!!
Worked with another company that was so horrible we had to fire them midway. Walked into KSI on a Monday and asked for a huge favor, not sure if they would be able to do it. They were so helpful and we were able to get our granite in record time! They really saved us. Wish we had started with them to begin with.
If I could rate with zero stars I would. There are many fabricators in Knoxville and the surrounding area. Choose wisely. They are not equal. I have used two companies over the last ten years and I wish I had not endured this last experience with KSI. Choosing KSI was a bad decision.
