Wally Anderson Review of Stone Interiors Knoxville

I called Knoxville Stone Interiors around the beginning of November 2014 and asked if they could do a rather small island counter top job that measured about 10 x 4 . I spoke with a gentleman named Jesse, who assured me that the job was not too small and that they would be happy to give me an estimate. Within a few days they were out to give me a bid of slightly under a thousand dollars (Black Pearl Granite), which I thought seemed fair. It was 50% deposit and the balance on completion.
After a couple days I made a some calls around to a few other companies and got similar bids (most of them more) over the phone since we had measurements and the exact kind of granite. We decided to go with Knoxville Stone Interiors, put down the deposit and scheduled an installation for a few weeks later. About 10 days later we get an email stating that they had the counter top in stock and would like to confirm the installation appointment. We agreed on the date but I noticed on the invoice that the price was lowered by almost fifty percent. Thinking they made a mistake, I sent an email pointing out the obvious price error.
Next, to my surprise, they mentioned that they had gotten a remnant piece in (from a larger job), and it matched exactly so they did not need to charge me the full price. When the installers came out they quickly took our old cabinet off and installed the new one, professionally and very courteously. I am very impressed with the quality of my new granite counter top, and even more impressed with the integrity of this local business. Thank you Knoxville Stone Interiors for your willingness to save me every dollar possible!
I very much recommend Knoxville Stone Interiors and I will definitely use them again on my future stone and granite projects.
