Very busy the day we visited just before Christmas but it didn't spoil it. A bit muddy in the car park so go prepared. Kids loved the ice skating and glad they didn't do the Nordic skiing which was very long.
The wood walk is fantastic. Initially I thought it was an expensive trip but clearly stocked park has spent a great amount of money and it shows in the wood with the light displays, lit animals some of which move, play grounds, talking trees and musical displays. The bit near the end by the lake with the mermaid, penguins and lit water display is particularly good.
Didn't buy any food/drink as the queues were just too long.
Pretty expensive for 7 of us but we all enjoyed it

We took our kids at Christmas for the second time everything was exactly the same as the year before which was a shame but there s so many different things to do the youngest didn t even notice also they know how to charge you for it they are clean and have very friendly staff I probably would of given 5 stars if I didn t need to get a bank loan out to do things

Really great day however think they could have a better system in place for the buccaneer boats activity which is extremely popular - spent a very, very long time in the queue! Would definitely go again - kids absolutely loved it!

Some great forest illuminations with fairy tale themes aimed at younger kids really but older ones will like the climbing adventure parks dotted around the forest walk. The lake and lights to music was better than we expected. Lots more to do on site but we ran out of time.

First visit here and it was lovely. Really festive. The enchanted forest was great with lots of play areas for the kids along the way. We did the nordic skiing but didn't get chance for the ice skating as it was too busy. There was a maze which was fun too. This place also does the best hot chocolate I have ever tasted. I thought the admission price was slightly high but we will probably visit again in the summer as there are different things to do.

Visited on Thursday 29th with our daughters and grand children, although the weather was not great we all fully enjoyed the experience. with the Theme being Halloween, the children enjoyed the witches and wizards. The enchanted Forrest was also exceptional. the Ice rink was closed on the morning due to the wet weather, however the staff quickly sorted this out later in the day.
A great place to visit, we all cant wait for December and the Winter Wonderland.

Great place. Second visit to Stockeld park, its becoming a winter tradition. The illuminations are beautiful and magical. The hot chocolate and food is great, but if you want to bring your own food they do have space inside to eat it. The lake has a beautiful show after dark.
My advice is its worth going for the full day and staying after dark. Skiing is a work out. Wrap up warm and wear waterproof shoes.

Fantastic day out. Our little girl absolutely loved the activities, plenty of food options (some with no child portion options, but sharing works for us!) Easy parking, plenty of room, queues for even the busiest rides weren't too long. Just fantastic, can't fault it.

Visited today great attractions and Christmas lights around lakeside walk, loads of things to do. Ice rink and maze plus kids Santa, there's different admission charges depending on what you want to do. Bit expensive as all these kind of things usually are but worth the visit, best off staying until after dark. Well recommended !!

Its for younger kids, very little for 12 plus. Nice walk for adults and lots for the little kids to do. The maze was great but some gates meant to block access were open so we spent longer in there lost (activities and stuff to do while in there) There are other activities for an extra cost. The worst part was the cafe, the food was horrible (we got a wide selection, just to be safe) and overpriced food. Many people that day had a picnic and i suggest you take one too. The park and activities will take you about 4-5 hours to complete, when u buy tickets do it online for cheaper, if you like it you can buy cheaper tickets while there fir the next visit. It did rain while we were there, this meant no stuff for kids to do in the playgrounds and very little cover. Not unless u take a spare wardrobe for change of clothes. Best thing about it was the face painter next to the bouncy trampoline, she is the best my kids have ever had done.

Amazing place for family outing, just outside Leeds. Maze was super fun and so was the enchanted forest. WARNING!! Don't plan to hush thru the forest with your lil ones, that's not gonna happen. With at least 4 to 5 adventure play grounds including slides, small zip lines, spider nets amongst other things they are going to stall you at every corner :D
Pedaling carts are fun too and can get competitive very easily so some leg workout before visit would be good. You can lap around the park on electric scooter on specially made track for an additional charge. And if you want to show off your skating (or tumbling :p ) skills, there is a skating rink too. Add some indoor and outdoor inflatable play areas and artificial sandy beach play near the lake and you won't realise how quickly a day can finish.
Don't forget picnic blanket and change of clothes !!

Venue is only open during School holidays.
We stumbled on this the year before last, if you're looking for a great day out with the kids then look no further.
I would fully suggest booking on line as the saving is well worth it with a family ticket.
The ques for the boats and scooters can be over 30minutes at times so I would suggest going on these in the first part of the day.
You can take your own food.

We visited the illuminations with our 11 week old and she was mesmerized... well she was for the 20 minutes that she was awake anyway! The wife wants it to become a yearly tradition as we secretly enjoyed it also.

Very disappointed with our visit to the winter wonderland. Parking the car was herroudous! I know the weather has been awful but why has straw or something been put down? cars where getting stuck as it was so busy they opened up fields to park in.
I know it's Christmas but amount of people at the venue was crazy! We were queuing in the maze. We couldn't get in some of the playgrounds due to people overload. We pre-booked santa and had to queue for a queue to see him. The presents from santa were more for girls than boys and not age appropriate for some kids.

To some it up it was a very muddy, people overload, queued filled disappointing day with little Christmas cheer.

Wet & cold day, so expected it to be a bit muddy. What I did not expect was the loud and intrusive music blaring out inside the cafe and dry play area which inhibited the possibility of civilised conversation. Not only that, on leaving the indoor area the noise was even louder outside. I don't know if the music was on to drown out other noises, but it certainly put paid to me and my family enjoying the day to the extent that I left with a banging headache and lots of bridges to build with my family.

A fantastic day out. Loads to do to keep children occupied all day long. The food looked good but took sandwiches so didn't try any but had plenty of coffee and that was excellent and value for money. Will definitely be going again.

We come to Stocked Park every year for the Christmas Adventure. It's great. You can get lost in the maze, go ice skating, take a wander (or Nordic ski!) around the woods and there's tonnes for kids to do with amazing playgrounds scattered throughout both the park and the woods!

Amazing. Plenty to do, kids were mesmerised. Not cheap to get in but once in it's all included in your ticket price (excluding food) which means you don't need to say no to the kids. Plenty of benches & tables all around the park if you need a rest or eat your picnic. Lots of open spaces for a run about. Enchanted forest was great with little and not so little surprised round every corner Very recommended

Fun family attraction with enough to do to fill a half-day. Better to visit when the weather is good as most of the attractions are outside. Prices are steep, especially if there are no special events taking place. If your kids enjoy playgrounds and exploration this is a good place to visit. Just have you wallet to hand.

What a wonderful place this is for kids! The maze is fab and a great place to lose the kids in :). The assault course is a giant inflatable and parents are encouraged to go in there too. Take a walk through the forest (which takes a good couple of hours) with little adventure playgrounds every couple of hundred yards. Boating (dodgems on water) if you fancy that. Another big adventure playground with tunnels, climbing frames, a giant trampoline...loads of picnic places. A massive indoor play area, cafe and well stocked gift shop.

Also, lots of special events during the year.

Free parking.
Excellent access for wheelchairs.

If you haven't been - check it out. We will be going back to let the little terrors run ragged!!
