Great day out, plenty to do. Brilliant festive day out, with two views (daylight and illuminated after dark). Kids and adults entertained, the Cross Country ski track did however need some more water to help with the zoom. There must have been a hosepipe ban in North Yorkshire in December!

Nicely kept park, but not as expected. It is an expensive visit as not much to do ... it's like a large outdoor playground. Great fun on the slide rope
But lots of walking between . The ski path is hard work on the legs and isn't much fun for smaller children- my grandson of 7yrs found it heavy going and slow.
The ice rink looks super on the photos but it is basic and being outdoors - cold. Also the tardis phones in the maze didn't work on both occasions we have visited.

Well organised, staff helpful and cleaning all the time. Lots of hand-wash stations, especially near play areas. Hand gel pots everywhere. Plenty of picnic benches and areas to social distance your picnic. Staggered entry helped it feel manageable and not rushed. Brilliant day.

Forest walk and maze were really good and worth the entry price, cafe also had reasonably priced food, only let down was the slow clearance of tables in the cafe which meant 25% of the tables were unusable, which was a bit of an issue when it was quite busy.

Great place for families. Lots to do for all ages. Shona (I think that was her name) was one of the staff on the ice skating rink and she was just amazing with my daughters. She spent so much time helping them build their confidence, skating around with them and chatting away. She really made their day so a big thank you to her.

This is a great place to visit in the darker months. The enchanted forest trail is full of beautiful lights. There are stunning models and play areas for kids and those young at heart. We visited in November and enjoyed the ice skating rink as well as a meal in the cafe. The maze was a delight and a great place to get lost in

We went for the firework show which was fantastic! Definitely going to go next year, there looks like alot of fun activities for families throughout the year also. Hopefully next year there will be more people serving food as the poor girls behind the counters seemed to be doing everything which led to a long queue (Hence the 4 stars)

Great play spaces but not ONE recycling bin in the picnic areas or on the trails. Chucking away plastic bottles and cardboard into landfill in today's climate is incredibly irresponsible - but most families were doing just that because there was no other provision.

Wow wow wow. What a fantastic place this is. I just can t stop telling everyone I know about this park. I took my boys here on the last bank holiday Monday in May. The circus was fab. The assault course was fantastic. The maze, the enchanted Forrest. Wow wow wow. The place was faultless. Money well well spent. We got there for 10.30am. We left at 6pm and we could have easily stayed for a couple of more hours. Definitely will be going back again

Brilliant value for money for the ticket day pass from the Internet, 2 adults 2 kids, very clean and tidy all through from the toilets to the enchanted wood very well kept, only critism is none of your own food in the cafe which is fair enough but on a day like today when it's not boiling provide somewhere with shelter to eat your own food, your a family friendly venue your staff are very good and a credit to you, but remember not everyone wants cafe food for thier dinner,

Visited Santa today, & I was very disappointed. He wasn't a good one, didn't seem that interested in the kids, just wanted to get his script read. My 2 year old son lost his "magic coin" to get a present, & Santa almost didn't believe we'd paid for him to have a toy, labouring the point a little, & almost ruining the magic for my 4 year old! I felt we were rushed, & having looked back at pictures I'm extremely disappointed that when we were taking pictures, Santa ONLY looked at the official camera, & not us taking pictures. Obviously money is more important than magic to Stockeld Park now, because they want you to pay a premium for official photos. The place was absolutely jam-packed aswell. As someone else has commented, they are a victim of their own success. I came a few years ago and it was great, but after this experience I will spend my hard-earned money elsewhere next year!

Always an excellent day out with our young boys. But was very impressed with the preparedness for COVID; sanitiser, portable hand washing stations and signs for social distancing. The shop and cafe was closed but makeshift ones are there for distancing. Excellent day.

We have visited the Winter Wonderland at Stockeld ...

We have visited the Winter Wonderland at Stockeld Park twice and it was a great day out both times. Meeting Father Christmas was a magical experience for our little girl. To meet the big man, you get a ticket / number and when you see your relevant number slot on one of the screens dotted around, you head down to his cabin - You walked under an archway which is covered in fairy lights and music is playing, round the corner to the cabin where the elves greet you and take you in to meet Father Christmas and get a present.
There is an outdoor ice skating rink and a ski trail around the enchanted forest. We ve spent hours walking through the forest where there is something to see and do every few minutes along the way, such as play areas, talking tree, fairy garden and troll bridge, wishing well, lake with mermaid and crocodile, and loads more.
There is a pedal go-karting area and a park. The shop has lots to offer in the way of Christmas decorations, gifts, souvenirs and sweets. The restaurant is decent too.
We have also been to the Easter Adventure where the ice rink had become a roller skating area and the ski trail was used for segways, which were great fun.
We have been in the maze twice, but never been able to find the middle! We ve ended up making our way out, using an online map, in fits of giggles as my husband starts to have a mild panic attack and claim he hates mazes!
I think we need to go for the Halloween Adventure this year.

A pleasant day out. The maze and the enchanted forest were lovely and great fun. The Nordic dry ski was hard work boring and a bit pointless. The children were afraid to go on the ice rink as there were no guide rails and people were clustered round the entrances making it hard to get on the ice. Nevertheless we all had a good day.

Fantastic value for money Yorkshire attraction which we visit at least every year and spend the whole day there. This time was the winter illuminations and we went round the forest twice, to play the first time and see the lights the second. Every year they seem to get something new that just adds to the value, although I doubt they'll ever top that teapot slide! Yes it seems expensive on first look but we spent nearly 6 hours there!
