High entrance fee for a national park. Very limited access for the little ones (0-3 years). Observatory was closed and restaurant is below average. Museonde had a nice ground and lower floor, but the last floor lacked a form of Spectacle. The only thing that has stayed with the little one is fox hanging from the wall.

even in cloudy and fresh weather it is a beautiful area. And the museum remains a hotspot. Also accessible with a museum annual pass ( 4.00 for a slice of cake?!?). But quickly view paintings again.

Very beautiful place. We went on a sunny day and really enjoyed the open fields with beautiful greenery, the small sand dunes we passed on our way to the museum, and the lovely forests. Rental bikes were free and very comfortable. I really recommend Hoge Veluwe - it's a must see when near it in the Netherlands.

One of the gems of our country. Vast nature with beautiful bike paths. You can also easily walk here, although the distances are soon large. With the free bikes you can make a great combination walking / cycling. In addition, excellent hospitality and a beautiful museum. You can easily enjoy a few days here.

Beautiful surroundings, even in the fall and winter. Cycled in December (with the free white bicycle) and got the feeling of being completely different from the Netherlands. Admission is around 10 euros the person and the free white bikes have no gears or lights. So be 'home' before dark.

Enjoy cycling on the white bicycles on the well-paved cycle paths in the almost un-Dutch nature. It has become quite pricey (27 euros for 2 people including card and parking), but you also get a nice day in return.
We recommend a coffee or tea at one of the tea houses or at the restaurant at the visitor center.

Amazingly beautiful!!! Very nice bike paths and hiking trails. Unfortunately no animals seen because it was too busy. But borrowing white bicycles for free is great !!!!!! The bikes are also good for cycling!

This park was great, both on foot and by bike. All board I prefer to do it on foot, because you see more and you're more likely to spot animals, beautiful scenery though they may be slightly more maintaining the park but it is can the many kilometers sit down you have different routes you have bins so you can safely bring your picnic. For the people who want, there is also a campsite. We have good geamuzeerd top, or a tip departure time to the park and see you back before dark at the entrance are bit of a maze for us even with a map but we finally choked everywhere are the also posts the routes so all in all cva :)

I was cycling a route happened to arrive at the entrance, was called by cashier, was a bit expensive for another two km to Hoenderloo, then just around the block.
It is still difficult for the wolf to come in.

Beautiful park with long cycling routes. Wonderfully quiet during our visit because we were just not yet in high season. Driving directly into the park from Hoenderloo by bike is a must! In the park you pass, among other things, the St.Hubertus Jachthuis where you can also get a tour. Furthermore, you can fully enjoy nature and the views.

I was expecting a small provincial museum within a park. Was I in for a surprise!
More Van Gogh than you could shake a sunflower at. And examples of the very best representations of his work.
So much to see. I could easily spend a week here.

Oh yes, this is the place to just relax.

Oh yes, this is the place to just relax.
PS: bike rental us included in the entry fee.
Will come again and again. 4th visit already this year. Maybe time to buy the year pass.

The 'Park' has been a favorite place where I like to come as an annual ticket holder for over 20 years. I have been a volunteer for many years, 'friend' of the park and also a subscription holder of the museum that I also liked to visit. Unfortunately, the management of the Park has launched the unjustified attack against the 18,000 regular visitors, annual card holders or protectors because apparently they suddenly do not matter anymore, they pay too little and actually do not contribute as protector. (People now prefer to have donors). By the way, 'protector' is a term coined by the Board of Directors, we were once just annual card holders. A club of regular customers that now 'average' provides a contribution of approximately 900,000 euros per year. Apparently this group makes up only 3% of the total number of visitors (600,000) in recent years and apparently they prefer not to have them anymore according to statements made by the Director. (See especially the recent article in 'De Gelderlander') And now the Park is having a hard time in these Corona times. Very understandable. All cardholders have received a letter in which it was stated quite boldly that the annual ticket price was doubled ...!? All understanding for difficult times, and a reasonable increase plus the 25% that was once given to the neighboring municipalities as a bonus for the Park's many years of existence; fine!! Do, I would say! Or ask the enormous group of 18,000 loyal visitors for an extra contribution. They especially support the park. Apparently we, the cardholders, have to agree with a doubling, while the Management itself says that it has failed to increase prices for years ... "Good management ..." !!? Not so! Well, then those 18,000 unfairly treated cardholders or protectors suddenly turn out to be good for an extra 900,000 euros. It does not appear that the entrance fee for the occasional visitor will be significantly increased for the benefit of the Park.
