I'm a dark beer Aficionado and their Highlander Stout is wonderful! I'm also an adventurous eater and the changing menu here is amazing. Rabbit burgers, pheasant, boar and even camel ( which should be on the menu every Wednesday), show up in the rotation.

Nice restaurant and bar for adults or with families. Had a kids menu for my 5 year old. Various selection of beers including a sampler at good prices. My sandwich was yummy with great bread. They have tater tots as side choice too :) Wings were a bit too spicy for mild which was a Bummer for my kid who loves wings. Server was very nice and had a comfy relaxed atmosphere. Would recommend to anyone.

Stewart s has great food and a unique beer selection. I highly recommend getting a wild game burger with extra Spanish manchego cheese. I could only give 4 stars due to being a bit overpriced.

Stewart's is the first place I sat down and had a meal in Delaware when I was house hunting in the area 10 years ago. I bought a house and have been enjoying Stewart's ever since. The food is always good and the beer is excellent. Go there, you will like it!

No emotional support dogs . Or they ll let you order after approving paperwork then say you have to have a specific trained command . I felt uncomfortable on the spot and left . Went to hooters , they always allow Ophelia .

Service is great as always. Food has been better. Brisket sandwich used to be the highlight here, but it's very mediocre now. The beer selection is all brewed on sight and is excellent. Their seasonal beers keep you coming back.

New to DE and have to say there isn t many places to eat so when you find one you have to brag about it. SNC hit my list for this place is a place to go to hang and eat. I noticed they also have live music and entertainment so call ahead to check out the local talent.

Had an enjoyable evening. Recommend asking to sit to the left (dining area) if you want a little quiet from the bar area. Overall the place was nice.

Gave it 4 Stars because a slight slip up with the order. Bacon burger is not Burger with mushrooms. Either way everything else was yummy. My preference was the slice prime rib sandwich.

Look forward to coming back.

I seriously cannot think of anything negative to say about this place. I come here every now and again, not everyday, but enough that the bartenders recognize me and my girl. These guys know how to brew beer, I gotta tell you. My favorite is Stumblin' Monk. It's only seasonal, but trust me, the wait is worth it. (They limit to 3 glasses per person for a reason.) Other than the incredible beer, the food is phenomenal! The staff are always there when you need them and always friendly and happy to help. If you haven't been here, you gotta try it. They got a huge bar for tons of seating, high top tables, and regular dining areas. Definitely worth stopping by.

The atmosphere is friendly, and although there are a lot of regulars it's not a regulars bar where you get stared at when you come in. There is a good mixed age crowd. Families are mixed in with groups and couples as well as "after work" groups or celebrations. Service has improved as of late as well.

Some dishes are still good but overall it's become very inconsistent. My wife had the French dip this evening and said it was good. I had the shrimp and grits and was more than disappointed, hence this review. The meal was completely uninspired and consisted of too dry instant grits and canned seasoned collards (vinegar-y) 4 - 5 deep fried battered shrimp two pieces of bacon (not typically part of shrimp and grits) and a sprig rosemary. It was a $15 plate of low quality ingredients topped with "bacon". Quite frankly it sucked and I only ate about half of it. I can't understand why they even put it on the menu if they are going to do it so poorly. Sometimes the food is good and sometimes it ain't.

Stewart's is an ok neighborhood place, friendly crowd, ok for easy dinner on a Friday night. Stewart's is not really bad at anything and at the same time doesn't necessarily excel at any one thing either.

Looking for someplace new to try to "wait out" traffic...we love trying a new craft beer any time we can and when I googled and found Stewart's it sounded promising. The reviews looked good, the menu looked good, and they had a decent kid menu, which, having a seven year old picky eater, is important to us.

Quite disappointed to get in there and find out that if you go on a Sunday before 2, you must order off the brunch menu which only had a couple sandwich choices, some apps, or breakfast food. Some of the sandwiches I was reading about sounded so good...but unfortunately none of those were available.

I "settled" for the Stewart's Country Club which was listed as house roasted turkey, bacon, lettuce, tomato and cheddar. When it came out it looked and tasted just like regular turkey lunch meat with one piece of bacon cut in half, one piece of lettuce, a tomato slice and and a piece of cheese that looked like it had just been unwrapped from it's cellophane. I had also ordered onion rings in place of the fries, but out it came with fries. (The waitress DID take care of that when I mentioned it to her and she realized the mistake).

Hubby ordered the buffalo chicken sandwich. Wish I had taken a picture of it before he tore the roll away that didn't have anything rather than taking only a picture of what he had to pull away in order to not eat just bread (and I can't get my pics to download...). I'd never serve a piece of chicken that size on a roll that size..at least butterfly it or serve it with lettuce and tomato to make it look worthwhile.

Kid got pasta with red sauce. It was ok but really, you gotta work to screw up a spaghetti type dish.

French fries were frozen ones with a batter on them, and the onion rings were ok, but also the trypcal frozen beer battered ones. Served with ranch on the side that tasted fine but was runny.

Beer was good. Hubby liked the 5k IPA and I liked the wacky wheat.

Server was nice as well, but service seemed slow for all the busier it was.

I don't like to write places off as "one and done" as you never know if someone is having a off day, or if it's a matter of ordering something that just wasn't what you were expecting, or something like that...but that being said, I can't see us making a return trip when it was all around "just ok" not just one thing..

I usually go to the other breweries further north and had always over looked Stewart's. I finally made it in when I was quoted 2 hour waits else where, and only 15 minutes at Stewart's. I was very impressed, their menu and food were great! Their beer's put them right up there with the big names. I'll definitely be back!

Stopped by for the first time in quite a while.... I feel like I've been missing out. Great local brewpub I wish I was still close to. Their house brews are amazing and the food is never disappointing either. Stop in, you'll be glad you did.

Food is decent...but management is a stick in the mud. Its supposed to be a bar but they get maf when you start having fun. Wish I would've took my party to a friendlier place. Usually a go to place but left a bad taste for me and my friends from out of town! Go else where for a fun time!!

I went to this brewpub on a Saturday for a Where's...

I went to this brewpub on a Saturday for a Where's George gathering. Usually, I'm not a fan of brewpubs or any establishment with "brew", "brewing", "tavern", or "pub" in the name. I don't drink and the fare is typically what I can find at a regular greasy spoon for less money. However, I'm willing to give anything a try.

The parking area was a bit confusing because of the way the dividers and one-way lanes were arranged but there was more than adequate parking for a Saturday. Inside the restaurant, the ambiance was comfortable. The restroom seemed clean enough too. I had a chicken cheesesteak, which was unremarkable for the price level.

There were two things I was unhappy about. Firstly, the server offered onion rings as the side for the cheesesteak but failed to tell me that this option costs extra. That's my biggest pet peeve with sit-down restaurants, especially non-chain restaurants that often fail to disclose all charges beforehand. Secondly, I had to leave before the rest of the group and asked for the check to be split so I could settle early. I watched the server punch in this request and it took only two button pushes on the touchscreen POS. Why then did they only do that grudgingly? Was that so difficult? I thought the food wasn't quite worth the money either but I'd have given them an average rating if it were not for those two service issues. As it stands, I wouldn't consider going back even if the Where's George gathering is held here again next year.
