Just had lunch here with my mom. We love to try new places and unfortunately this was definitely not a good one. She had the poached salmon and I had the grilled salmon and I have to say for the price you really did not get much of what you would expect. My moms sauce was supposed to be a vermouth base but it tasted like salt water. My cucumber salad tasted like salted cucumbers. Overall everything was very salty. The salmon was done very well which is the only reason that they are getting 2 stars instead of 1. Also for the price you expect something that would at least make you feel full. After our long wait for our food we left just as hungry as we came in. Not to mention out waiter was rude and unattentive. Did not offer any drinks, just suggested coffee when we were leaving. Did not even introduce himself. It was definitely an experience I don't plan on repeating.

They do a nice job of taking there time & care with you. Making you feel like a guest in their home.

Excellent duckling. I generally don't like duck at all but decided to give it another try, very happy with my choice. Sides were so good I'd have ordered a plate full of them had I known what to expect. Green beans, beets, bacon, and lentils. Absolutely perfect cook on the green beans and a fantastic combination of flavors, colors and textures. Chef and staff clearly know what they are doing and care about what they send out. Service was impeccable. Waitress and trainee waiter well-informed about menu, outgoing and courteous, not prone to hover, available when needed. My first time here, will certainly return.

Went for Happy Hour and sat at very nice bar. Excellent discount on wine and food items. Very comfortable.

The service was the slowest I have ever experienced at a restaurant in my life.a hour and 15 minutes just to get the main course,and another 30 plus minutes to check out,the food was good but the portions were small for what you pay for and for 130$ I should of have fabulous service

My family and I have been here twice, both times the food was good but the service was horrible. We gave it a second chance for mother's day but it was even worse. Tables that arrived after us were served well before us, we waited an hour More

My filet mignon was amazing but the butternut soup was a bit cold. Still the atmosphere was amazing!

Went on Valentines Day so service was slower because they were full. Seafood mostly, but I had duck. Food was OK but nothing outstanding. Would go back but won't be rushing to do so.

Was always my favorite place and hadn't visited in 8 years..they got rid if the piano player or he had the day off, but the food was amazing!! My date and I were looking at all the trays of food passing by connecting them to a menu full of delicious ingredients that made it hard to select. Now, we gotta go back there several more times to eat the rest of each menu items.

Was in Novi on a business trip. Stopped in on a whim. Wow! Very good. If I go back to Novi I will definitely eat there again.

We have seen so many good reviews for this place and we were not at all impressed. We started with a Caesar salad, which was very plain. We had a rib dinner and a perch dinner, neither of which were very good. My daughter got a kid meatloaf dinner which was actually pretty gross. At the end of the night our bill, after one beer and a tea, was $77. If the food was great I could accept that price, but it wasn't even good. Very disappointing
The only good thing about the experience was our waitress. She was super friendly and did great job.

Went here on a recommendation from a training instructor, and it was definitely worth it. More of an upscale menu, but everything is prepared fresh, and delicious. Tends to be a little pricey, but a very nice option for a fancier lunch.

Worst service ever. It took way too long before our dinner order to be taken. The same can be said about the time for the food to arrive. And every course had a mistake. Nearly 3 hours for dinner is certainly not appropriate.

Absolutely one of the worst restaurant experiences ever. Service was ridiculously bad. We were so angry we left before we ordered dinner.

This is always a great time and a great meal when we dine in. But, as a parent of a pair of crazy toddlers, I very much appreciate how well this place does carry out. Everything is always cooked perfectly, and just as good as when it is served in the restaurant. They really seem to take steps to make sure the food is the same quality you would get at their table. This is our go to place for a high quality meal, but we don't want to drag the kiddos out.

Used to be excellent! Almost should not be for a dining experience like this. Fine ambiance and professional flair with the wait staff, But my lunch was a bit over priced for what I had as well as quality of the entree.He is doing some great things with local veggies and soups though.

It s ok. Too expensive for the quality but staff were nice. I thought it s good for seafood but tuna I got was over cooked and wasn t that great. I don t think I ll go again.

Why bother to make a reservation? Even with one we had to wait 45 minutes! The hostesses was EXTREMELY rude. The absolute worst we have ever had, and my husband and I are foodies. On the other hand, the food was exceptional as always. Definitely one of the best places to dine in the county for food..if not service.

Good food. I've got a bent tire rim from their potholes in the parking lot though. They still havn't fixed that hole for quite some time.

The decorations in this place is very interesting. The waitstaff was pleasant and actually pretty funny. Food was very slow coming out but delicious so worth the wait. The only drawback was how close the tables are to one another.

Everything here is delightful. The lunch salmon with brussel sprouts might just be the best taste experience i ever had, and the waitress was a lovely person.

We stopped here sort of at random, we were going through the area and my husband had heard of Steve and Rocky's, so he figured we would try it. The overall experience was not bad. When you go in, at first I got a bit more of a bar impression than I am usually comfortable with, but we were seated right away and my opinion started to change. Our server was kind and gave honest thoughts on the slightly overwhelming menu- we had only one of her recommendations and I had a lovely fish dish with just the right amount of smokey flavor. Our meal was great. Service was the best I have had in a while, and we eat out on average 4 times per month or so. The decor of this place is a little weird, but for us, it helped stir conversation. When we went, it wasn't super busy, but I think it has the tendency to be busy, I'd call ahead if you can. It certainly is a dressier type place and kind of pricey.

Ordered around 12:10 and didn't get food until 12:42. Place wasn't even busy and I was late getting back to the office. Coffee cup was teacup size around 5 oz and waitress came so infrequently I think I barely had one cupful in the 1 hr+ I was there. I wanted a sandwich and soup and while I did get soup (mushroom soup was really good, actually), the sandwich was the open face type and simply one large piece of bread with tuna and melted cheese with a side of onion rings. Subpar. I expected a bit more for the $16.95 I paid as that sandwich and soup were Panera-quality. Finally, I paid with a $20 bill and the waitress, although she returned after taking the check up, decided to not bring me any change. She choose $3.05 tip instead of the $4 I would have given her; but considering she simply took it, $3.05 was too much. I won't be returning. Also, not a comfortable atmosphere as the tables are too close together and just scattered around the center and you can't walk around easily. As I was alone the hostess tried convincing me to sit at the bar although the place was nearly empty. I may be alone but I'm a person too and deserve to sit at a normal table.

Been to Steve & Rocky's several times. Went today for the first time since they reopened from COVID shut down. The food was excellent as always. All the staff wore masks and tables were appropriately distanced. They also have curbside pick up and carryout if you prefer. Try the mushroom soup for sure. This place is a winner.

The food was okay, but not as good as I would have hoped for that price point. My boyfriends steak was overcooked, our green beans were undercooked. I got a creme Brule for dessert and the sugar on top was burnt black. The atmosphere is also a little off putting. From the table we were at i could count five different walls painted five different colors. The rest of the decor didn't really have a cohesiveness to it either, it was just like somebody picked a bunch of random art and stuck it to the walls and on shelves. Our server was great however. And I gotta say the shrimp bisque was fantastic.

Really great food. Daily menu that changes. Creative seafood dishes. I had perch that was cooked perfect. The salad was fresh crispy and a unique presentation.

Super meh... totally not worth the money. Don't go, it seems like a nice place but the food was totally boring. Our food took an hour (not kidding) and once we got it, it was so boring and disappointing. Chicken was nothing interesting, potatoes were greasy... I took a colleague for a thank you lunch and she was very excited to go there, at first. By the time we left she expressed how disappointing it was and that she wished we had gone someplace else. So that was a waste of my money... we won't be going back.

Two of the three meals in our group tasted great. My perch was inedible. It was pan seared which I would have loved, but for some reason they served it on top of a bed of rice and then poured very salty beef bouillon over everything. I ate the fish anyway and got the runs from all the salt afterwards. The service left a lot to be desired. Friendly but hasty with several drop off and run away where we were constantly calling the server back for something. On top of all this, there was loud rap music and then loud annoying hip hop they didn t turn down until we asked twice. Didn t need music at all, but easy listening would have been better dining music.

Always good food. Broiled Atlantic Salmon this time with "cider glaze, roasted parsnip and sweet potato, crispy Brussels sprouts, pomegranate".

We dined here for my birthday. Very interesting & diverse menu. We were all extremely satisfied with our entrees.

Decided to give this place a try today after it came up in a Google search and omg am I glad I did! Exactly what I was looking for, great food at a great price. I got the soup sampler and the seared Tuna, wowza. The pics don't do this food justice one bit. Great staff, clean, quick kitchen. This is quite possibly my new favorite lunch spot and since the menu gets updated daily I'll never run out of options, woo!

My family and I went to Steve & Rocky's for Thanksgiving Dinner this year and the food was fabulous! Good wine selections and good service too. I doubt I will be cooking again next year!

We live nearby, received coupons for a free entre on our birthdays for years, and for some reason had never tried it. It turns out that was a big mistake. This was one of the best meals I ve ever had.

The cooking style here is pretty French, and the menu was mostly fish and seafood. I ordered broiled Cod with vermouth sauce. It was perfectly cooked. So were the red skinned potatoes and green beans that came with it. In fact, the green beans were amazing. These days at restaurants they are almost raw, but here they were the perfect combination of crisp and tender. There was also a cucumber salad on the plate.

Honestly, the food at most restaurants is so mediocre, that having a perfectly cooked meal is astounding and delightful. We came when they had just opened, and the daily menus were still being printed, so the service was slow. But think about that; they print the menu every day because they are cooking the freshest food they can get that day. The server was wonderful and brought a basket of fantastic bread while we waited. We were seated in a booth that had a plaque with Ernie Harwell s name on it, so I m guessing he was a regular there. We will be back.

Don't go if you don't like fish. Expect to pay at least $50 per person.

Avoid. Food is good. COVID curbside works. But ...

Ordered from here for my father's birthday (December 2020), and quite frankly, this experience has turned me away from them forever. Kept at two stars because dad thoroughly loved the food.

What was so horrible? At first, all seemed fine. When placing the order, the nice lady on the phone was pleasant, helpful, knowledgeable, patient ... all good things.
Then came time to pick up the order. The first woman who came out was not the order taker, but was still stellar. She let me know that the credit card failed, and that the order was ready pending a new payment. Handed her the new card, and thought things would be smooth from here on out.
Nope. Got a call about the order, and heard a man screaming obscenities in the background. At HER. For prepping my order.
Then HE ended up being the one who brought the food out to the car. Without a mask. Acting all fakey nice.

NOPE. You do NOT get to yell at your staff and belittle them for giving excellent service, and think that you get to keep them customer. Between this and the experience in 2015, I'm done with this place.

Pricey, excellent food but ... one of the visits left me a little sour on the whole thing. Was enjoying dinner, heard a blood curdling scream from the kitchen, suddenly the vents went on high, and the staff seemed shaken.
The manager made a point to quietly tell everyone that things were fine, one table at a time. Every time the kitchen door opened, I could smell burning human flesh. Sure. It's all good ... I get that burns are a danger of the job, and happen way too often. Maybe this is the industry standard way to handle them. But it shook me quite a bit.

Steve &Rocky's is very nice and the employee's are great.

Steve & Rocky's is our favorite "go to" restaurant for any occasion small or big. The food is always top quality and cooked to perfection. The service is great and the prices are perfect for what you receive.
The best happy hour out there today! A must try, you will be happy you did!

Chef Steve Pagonas cooked us an amazing meal. One of the best. Steve and Rocky are lucky to have him.

Great food and service! Glad we made a reservation, it was very crowded and it took awhile to get our meals but it was worth the wait.
