Always love dining at Steve & Rocky s. Great food, very nice atmosphere, and the staff are excellent and attentive. Rodney is a wonderful waiter. Every time he has taken care of us he has made the experience great.
I was first customer to sit down for lunch today. Shortly after sitting another customer came in. They promptly served her bread and then came back for drink order. After 15 minutes of being completely ignored I walked out. No apologies even though they have my phone number. I am enjoying lunch at Bonefish suggest you do the same

Steve and Rocky's is an upscale, sit down restaurant. My family chose to eat here for the first time to celebrate my mother's 60th birthday, and we were delighting to find out that they have a printer that can personalize the menu's. The "Lynne's birthday menu" as the top line was very well humored.
Our waitress was professional, very sweet, and had perfect timing. Not once did we have to wait around for her to ask a question, get a refill of water or wine, or for the bill. The hardest part about being a service and waitress is timing. If you take too long, the customer gets impatient. If you are present too often, the customer gets annoyed. The staffing at Steve and Rocky's is spot on. They make you feel welcome to be dining there. That is very hard to find.
Lastly, the location was very convenient. Steve and Rocky's was very easy to locate - although I think they should put up a neon sign to direct wayward food enthusiasts back to heaven.

My husband and I dined at this restaurant a few weeks ago. A couple of days later when viewing my banking information, I discovered that they had double billed me. They charged me not just for our meal, but for what I can only assume was another random table's meal . Despite having alerted them to the problem, the incorrect charge has still not been corrected. I had to cancel the debit card and have been back and forth with the bank to correct the matter. The mediocre food and service were not worth the time and trouble it has cost me to remedy this situation....and the owner has been ENTIRELY unhelpful.
It was the one of the best meals I've ever had. I've had better, but I paid twice as much. Our waiter was attentive and knowledgeable, with a very engaging personality. My duck was great as was my wifes filet.
I will definatly stop by again.
Food was excellent, but the waitstaff was Top notch, knowledgeable, friendly and always on top of things. Felt pampered.

Great food! The only reson I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars was because of our waitress's vibe. There were 4 of us and we are friends from High School who hadn't seen each other in years. The waitress seemed annoyed that we were talking and not immediately ready to order.
Had the mushroom soup...heaven!
Mushroom soup is one of the best in town. They had a lunch special item that day that was incredible - short rib with trip color tortellini. Service was a little slower, but it was a business lunch and worked out fine. Staff and management are extremely friendly and attentive.

This restaurant I went for my birthday and I was so disappointed in the food my fish was rubber and the service was terrible if I could give it a 10th of a star I would this restaurant is overpriced and the service is horrible I'll never ever recommend this place to anybody
The food was amazing, and the presentation was excellent! My only gripe is that the bathrooms are simply not on par with the rest of the restaurant. Other than that, the waitress was great and there was a live piano player, which added to the ambiance and helped drown out a lot of the environmental chatter, (which is not loud) and allows the dining experience to be intimate and pleasant.

Terrible service. We sat there for 15 minutes without even being asked what we wanted to drink. They were not busy either. We walked out.
The food and drinks were delicious and the staff was very friendly...the only issue was that the service was incredibly slow. We had a party of 7 adults and it took over three and a half hours. We were there celebrating a birthday and the length of the dinner made us late to the next destination. Management made it right once it was brought to their attention.
Everyone else in my party raved about the dinner, but I apparently made bad selections. My brook trout had the skin on top, which made a very strong taste. The dessert was just OK, nothing exciting. The service was good, the atmosphere quite pleasant. The music being played was very enjoyable.

Just had lunch here with my mom. We love to try new places and unfortunately this was definitely not a good one. She had the poached salmon and I had the grilled salmon and I have to say for the price you really did not get much of what you would expect. My moms sauce was supposed to be a vermouth base but it tasted like salt water. My cucumber salad tasted like salted cucumbers. Overall everything was very salty. The salmon was done very well which is the only reason that they are getting 2 stars instead of 1. Also for the price you expect something that would at least make you feel full. After our long wait for our food we left just as hungry as we came in. Not to mention out waiter was rude and unattentive. Did not offer any drinks, just suggested coffee when we were leaving. Did not even introduce himself. It was definitely an experience I don't plan on repeating.
Worst experience I have had in years. My wife and I were the first customers in for lunch yesterday and somehow Our waitress forgot to put our order in. Then they rushed it out and the fish was raw and my steak was raw as well. My wife ended up with food poisoning. I would not let my dog eat at this establishment. Horrible

I was excited to be going here after perusing past menus. The final experience was disappointing, mostly because of the service. Too many excuses and not any fixes. Our reservation was for 7:00 pm and by the time our order was taken they were already out of an entree that three in our party wanted to order...it seemed everything took an inordinate amount of time. It became clear early on it was up to us to flag our server down; not rely on her to check in. The food overall was fine, however, the experience was compromised by the service.
Good food, but not as fancy or good as the word on the street. This place has a bit of an identity crisis. Lots of higher end feel with a Denny's style bathroom. Overall good food and nice staff, but the amenities dont match that.
Bartender was great. Food was not good. Salmon was way to smoky and Caesar s salad was less then desirable tasted like horseradish. Would not recommend.

I have to say, hats off to Steve for absolutely coming through with an amazing menu for my bridal shower! Not only was every one of my guests impressed with the food on our curated menu, but I, the bride, was significantly grateful for the accommodations on my specific dietary needs. Personally, I am a vegan, and only a select few of guests at my shower were as well, and so of course there would be a great deal of worry on whether we would be able to find options within a traditionally well known steak and seafood restaurant. However, not only were we humbly surprised, but 100% satisfied with the specially prepared plates and the hospitable service. Steve and Rocky's is top- notch and made our event very seamless and memorable. I am very thankful for their kindness and consideration.
We stopped by Steve & Rocky's to kick of my mom's birthday with a fantastic dinner. We started with the cream of mushroom soup, which is always delicious. The entrees ordered were - the roasted chicken, the frog legs & a salad w/grilled salmon. Everything was seasoned perfectly and the portions are generous. Our server, Anthony, and the whole staff were a joy.
Food wasn't horrible just nothing great. Not a good value. Pretty run down at this point maybe better 10 years ago
Good food and service, we visited for My Son in Law's Birthday.
Terrible service. Waiting 1.5 hours with a large group. Had one drink in that time. Very inattentive wait staff. Very unorganized. Well, thank God that 3-1/2 hour fiasco is over. Took 1/2 hour to get menus. 1-1/2 hours to finally get our appetizers. Another hour to get entrees and they came out sporadically. Some in our group weren't served yet while others were finished eating. Took another 1/2 hour to get the bill which was not correct and had to be refigured. Never going back there. Avoiding it like the plague.

Average at best. Filet was below average. Potatoes cold. Extra charge For ceasor salad. Salad was good. Our server was below average. Another server could bearly fit between my chair and the table she was serving and bumped my chair several times, Saying she was sorry each time... very annoying. It made the experience even worse. Very tight , crowded tables . Not real butter for the rolls. Drinks were ok.
Very good food. Menu changes, so dad was bummed not to get the dish he'd been dreaming about, but great food and the waitress was good too. Bit pricey.

Vegetarians would have tough time. Not a very extensive menu with good number of choices available.
But, soup was good and so was ginger bread.
Cream of Mushroom soup is the absolute best I've ever had. They have it on the menu everyday. It is homemade and I highly recommend. During the week, they offer happy hour with very nice appetizers and drink specials. Staff is amazing.

Good food and good service. Great pre dinner bread! We had a large party reservation and our two servers, Sam and Raven were very accommodating, kind and patient. It is a bit pricey for the portions received.
Today's my birthday and my family and friends were in Novi so I chose S & R's. I made a last minute reservation for 7 and they were able to accommodate is. When I arrived the whole party had not arrived but they allowed me to sit and wait. Most places will make you wait for you team prior to seating you.
The staff and managers were so friendly and attentive even while I waited for my team and they were not rushy. I ordered filet and sea scallops as my entree. The steak was seasoned well and required no additional sause. The scallops were very tender but not under cooked.
My whole party was satisfied with their meals and the service. I'm going to try thr salmon and brussel sprouts the next time because the sample from my wife's plate was tasty. Didn't rush us while we were the last customers to leave.

If there were no restaurants with food on the rest of the planet, I still would not go back to Steve & Rocky's. On Mother's Day, we arrived on-time and waited an hour-and-forty-five minutes for our food with two children. We were told multiple times that our meals were being checked-on. They weren't. We never received our food. We were offered free future dinners and I would never trust them to serve a meal.
Very disappointed! Went there last night to get the perch for their "roll back the prices" coupon and it was extremely greasy! Service was extremely slow for a Tuesday night. Ordered dessert from the dessert tray and my dessert was at least half the size of what was on the dessert tray. The price of my dinner was the same that it has always been! No discount this week folks! Very disappointed!
Decided to try this place while I was on a business trip. Met with family who I had not seen in years and we googled this place! Our server Jennifer greeted us with bright smiles and answered all our questions. We were sat in the middle of the dining room which my Great Aunt felt uncomfortable sitting at and Jennifer had no problem moving us! Caesar salad had an interesting presentation but was delish! Ordered the Lake perch and that too was amazing. Thank you for your hospitality!
