Steigenberger Al Dau Beach Hotel Review

Mega hotel area, everything was very clean and well-kept. Food in the main restaurant was good but not 5 stars. Theme restaurants definitely 5 stars !! Animation tries hard, but the name of the hotel doesn't leave much scope for exciting animation. Sports offer okay, lame shows in the evening. Mega pool area, beautiful beach.

It's nothing against the entertainers, on the contrary, they did their best. I just wanted to say that the program should be more peppy for an age group like ours (26 and 31) as well as for older visitors we spoke to. The facility is so huge that you can have a pool / beach game in one corner or the other, an evening program in which the audience is more involved or small (1-2 hour) parties such as a foam party during the day or a beach party in the evening organize. The guests who do not like this will find enough quiet places in the huge complex so that they are not disturbed by it.
But I think you have to adapt to the audience as a Steigenberger. Especially at the time we were there (July) and I think generally in the summer months there are many young people and families with older children, at least that's how I perceived it with us :)

Only because of that I personally wouldn't necessarily come again otherwise the vacation was perfect!

Awesome food. Very clean swimming pools. Awesome service. Staff is very professional. Rooms are so clean. Bathrooms are so clean. Very recommend!

If you are Egyptian don t be angry when SOME of the staff don t give you their attention meanwhile they are smiling to other nationalities

My sister and I stayed last week in Steigenberger al dau beach. All the staff were very friendly and helpful with everything!! Love this place and we will come for shore soon again!!

Great Service, clean rooms, beautiful view, all what you want you will find it there..

The hotel is in the German style, although located in Hurghada (Egypt).
The service is excellent, food for every taste. Every day a varied menu. There are many activities on the beach.
Snorkeling, windsurfing, volleyball, darts and much more. Morning water gymnastics in a warm outdoor pool.
Purely everywhere, a large area, there is a place to stroll in the morning, there is a gym and sleep on site.
I advise everyone!!! You will have a great vacation in this place. And the price is acceptable.

The staff 5 *. Hotel room 4 *. With 4 *. Hotel beach cash for swimming and snorkelling. The staff lifts the hotel. Was unlucky that there was a construction site on the floor above, noises in the afternoons.

Clean ok, as it is in another area of Egypt. The food is desirable. Chicken, tasteless, over, so much. We come with a nausea and we eat yogurt in the morning ...

Large very well-kept area, very good food and super friendly and hard-working staff. Gladly again!

Food poisoning with lots of guests - avoid Italian restaurant at all costs and any salad

This is the second visit, first one 10 years ago, but the service and food are the same, exceptional.... the precautions for covid 19 makes it even better, the new system and safety procedures are unique and simple, the customer service is personalized, the quality of food is the best in hurghada, the pool is the biggest ever in the red sea, and the room view is very relaxing..... extremely recommended.. don't forget the amazing aqwa park, it if free for the guests.....

First of all, I want to say that I have been to Egypt several times, e.g. Soma Bay, Makadi Bay, El Gouna, Sharm El Sheik, Cairo, Mansura, Alexandria, Masa Matruh, and now I've been in Hurghada at the Steigenberger Al Dau Hotel for 10 days and I'm really excited!
Me and my mother checked into the Steigenberger Al Dau on the 22nd of October, and we were immediately taken to the reception and immediately received a delicious refreshing drink! After 30min. We were put in our deluxe room (1314) and we liked it very well (for Egypt it is really great .. the hotel has been around for a long time, but they make an effort to keep it in the shot)! You can tell that this hotel is under German management. Breakfast, lunch, dinner EVERYTHING EXCELLENTLY GOOD! For lunch we were mostly in the beach restaurant ALL very delicious! The whole area is very well maintained and the service was excellent! In the whole area you are supplied with drinks (the waiters are present at all times and the drinks are of course also brought to the sunbed)! What I really liked is that the toilets were super clean at all times!
A tip: definitely go to Alexander's restaurant food! Just great!
By now I was in 6 different hotels in Egypt but Steigenberger Al Dau is by far the best I've ever been (I mean only Egypt)!
On 5.Nov. unfortunately we're back home!
Thanks again to all the employees who really do a great job!
Even if the Steigenberger is a bit more expensive it really pays to come here (it is worth every euro and you get really something for your money)!
We will definitely come back and recommend this hotel to 100 percent!

Ps: Of course there is also the Oberio Hotel (Sahl Hashes) and the Four Season Hotel (Sharm el Sheik) which are first class hotels but you pay 300 Euros for a night with breakfast!
So better you drive to the Steigenberger Al Dau to Hurghada with luxury all inclusive!

The hotel has 750 rooms and has the largest swimming pool in Hurghada and the five star service also has all the hotel services and a large golf course

Nice hotel with private beach and affiliated Dive Club & Aqua Center (PADI and SSI). It also offers five theme restaurants in addition to the all you can eat buffet. Hotel guests can use the opposite water park (Aqua Magic) free of charge. Furthermore, the hotel offers a nine hole golf course as well as an extensive spa.

Everything was great. Staff are welcoming and helpful. Rooms are clean, food variety is very good. Beach is beautiful

A hotel with extraordinary potential but which needs a general cleaning and then its maintenance. The staff does not even have the notion of hygiene.

Amazing design facility, very clean, level of customer service acceptable, evening entertainment programs very few. We expected to more famous funny singing, dancing and cultural shows.
Food items are limited, but high quality and fresh. We visited on Summer and stayed 7 days, but we did not find watermelon or mango, even after requesting them. Technicians not very skilled. The needed to come to room for same problem 4 times to fix blockage drainage of shower that causes water to flow even to hotel corridors. When reported diarrhea and vomiting following a meal to reception they did not take seriously, but rather they said you must have cold. Staff need lots of training.

Service. The water sports offer and the teachers are great. We had a great holiday.
