Steigenberger Al Dau Beach Hotel Review

A beautiful clean and integrated hotel consisting of 3 contiguous hotels with multinational restaurants, excellent facilities and friendly friendly staff. I thank the master Sayyid at the reception and the happy chef at the main buffet restaurant, how friendly and professional they were and made it a beautiful day.

Great place, great service and the food is very delicious

An absolutely wonderful hotel, it is the best hotel I have seen and experienced in a long time. The service staff are all very helpful and respectful! The food is top class! Cleanliness is also very important here! I would highly recommend this hotel, it is definitely worth every penny. If I come to Egypt again then with absolute certainty again in this hotel! I would even go so far and say that this is the best hotel in Egypt. I would also like to say a big compliment and thank you to the entertainment team, my absolute favorite in the evening changing and interesting shows was the singer Ibrahim. Thank you very much for this dream vacation to the whole steigberger al dau team !!!!

Luxurious resort, huge and well-maintained pool area, free and pleasant Jacuzzi sauna area to relax, fun slow river, excellent service. Very comfortable and spacious rooms. Top all inclusive. Restaurants for all tastes. Five well deserved stars.

Unfortunately no longer like the former. Reception is very bad and services are more than bad and the food that is served is not suitable for human use. I never recommend it.

Normally we don't go on all inclusive holidays, but we just wanted two weeks of rest, total relaxation and nothing else to do.
The Steigenberger was for all inclusive. really great. You were always asked if you wanted something to drink, whether in one of the restaurants, bars or right on the beach. The drinks were served in glasses. The beach was spacious, always clean, enough sun loungers and private space, the sea clean and warm, you could even snorkel in some places, watch colorful fish on corals, etc.
The pool area is very nice and large, varied and located in a clean green garden / park. You could always find peace somewhere.
The food was, at least on our first visit, very good and varied, unfortunately not so good on the second visit.
Small tours with the quad or camel rides were ok, but in the evenings on the street was stressful, because you were not only asked intrusively to buy certain useless things, but were almost forced. Unfortunately, it's best to stay at the hotel, which I wouldn't say in any other country. (Except on Jerba in Tunisia, there it is almost worse).
The room was really great and the service and cleanliness really 5 stars.
The first time we went to Luxor, it was nice, but very exhausting due to the heat.
It would be better to take a trip to the Nile at a cooler time of the year.

Beautiful hotel! The person who is not satisfied here stays better at home.

Everything is perfect .. from the quality of what is served to the people surving and all of what is in between.. They have special offers for people who came here before so tell them when checking in.

My wife and I have chosen this hotel for our honeymoon. We ve booked the hotel through an agency and, all in all, had a nice stay.
The staff were wonderful, especially Twadros Gerges from the Karibu lobby lounge who took really good care of us.
All staff wear masks and the hotel has installed hand-sanitizers pretty much everywhere. The temperature is checked at the entrance and at restaurants.
Location: The location is good, close enough to the airport and Hurghada town. You can easily find a cab (or rather, they will find you) if you want a ride to town. The hotel boasts a promenade where you can take a stroll and do some shopping there is a Cleopatra Bazaar if you prefer fixed prices.
Our deluxe room was spacious, with a king-size bed, large tv, and a large terrace, the bathroom included both a tub and a walk in shower. There is also a phone in the bathroom. The furniture needs some tlc.
The hotel lobby is nice with coral-themed decorations. There was music every evening, which we enjoyed quite a bit more than the evening animation program as the atmosphere in the lobby is relaxed, cozy and elegant.
The pool has a great (and pretty long) lazy river in addition to a swim-up bar, quiet areas, waterfalls, etc.
The beach is nice, water is warm ad clean, though do keep in mind that the tidal range is a bit high so that the water in the morning is shallower than later in the day.
The food is good when it comes to breakfast, though there wasn t freshly squeezed orange juice. The lunch and the dinner were more acceptable than delicious. There are theme-based dinners though I found that the chilly con carne and Indian curry don t taste very different. The hotel also has 4 additional restaurants included in the AI package with mandatory reservations.

We are a couple on our honeymoon. I would like to go to a new place. I chose this hotel, but unfortunately, I was shocked by the reality. The food there is very bad. The stew is excellent, but I was struggling with the issue of food and some behavior. I chose an all-inclusive hotel. There is nothing in it for Egyptians, and the quantities are very, very few even though it is an open buffet. I really regret that I went there

Wonderful Hotel couldn't ask for more, rooms are beautiful food very high quality no problems , the standard of cleanliness is of a very high standard Like the rest of the hotel every where you go they are constantly cleaning, excellent laundry service, many Restaurants to choose from Spa and pools are not to be missed pools waterfalls and of cause the Lazy River to relax is fabulous meandering round the excellent well kept landscape , Service is second to none nothing is to much for them from Arrival to Departure you will be looked after Excelent Hotel ti stay on Vacation I will be returning to enjoy all over again wow . Conclusion after 14 days: good service, good quality of the food. Pool with a pleasant temperature when using the pool suite. In the suites from the 1st floor onwards, the pool suites make noises when using the jacuzzi and draining the water due to the lack of insulation of the pipe, as if you were lying in bed under a waterfall, especially if guests use this after 10 p.m. this should start at a certain time limited for the benefit of the other guests. The specialty restaurant Alex on the beach is unfortunately not free from children (guests of the AL Dau), this is unworthy of the claims of an adult hotel. Likewise, the small beach section of the Pure Lifestyle 50-70m is frequented as part of a migration by guests of the Steigenberger Aqua Magic, building sandcastles, playing with the ball between the loungers, the same applies to the guests of the AL Dau Resort. Due to the large interlocking facility of the AL Dau and the beach of the Aqua Magic, it cannot be avoided, as there is no controlled system, that guests can exercise around the golf course themselves during our stay with children.

These defects can probably not be remedied even if the system is well filled. Thus, the existing points of criticism are unworthy of an adult hotel, if not turned off, since all lines are paid dearly and the booking is not limited to suite / lobby / pool and gourmet market.

Absolute top hotel. We have had wonderful holidays in the Steigenberger. Here are a few additional points, which in my opinion are not clearly visible on the homepage:

+ Childcare guaranteed. Program for the children from early to late.

+ Transfer from the airport only about 15 minutes. and still no aircraft noise.

+ Fantastically large and well-kept area, even with bike rental (free with all incl. And bikes worked perfectly), pedal rental (also free) and jogging track.



+ Meals possible from early to late and included.
Quality though all inclusive. Very good to excellent.

-Wifi on the beach only partially and not available in the gym. The only real negative point.

Excellent service good weather good shopping at affordable prices.
Lot of palaces to explore.

It is an amazing hotel. Room are huge, beds are big, stuff is very polite and proactive in order to make your stay as good as posible. Food variety is important to mention and it is very tasty, also it is available in most of times.

Loved it, the landscape is adorable , interesting activities for kids like bycles, canoeing and aqua Park ,amazing spa and jacuzzi salted heated pool, variety of great food restaurants

The hotel is very beautiful .. The food has a great variety, but it is not the best thing .. The swimming pool is very large and beautiful .. The entertainment was lovely by a large percentage ..
But there was a bad attitude towards the Roman Service (they opened the door for us twice without messing up in the first place), but as a kind of compensation, we worked with a survey of the remaining part of the stay ..
Also, we were blocking a honeymoon. We were supposed to have free access to the spa, but it was closed due to corona ...
