Unique and legendary palace on the water! They started to renovate, our room was not (most of the furniture were broken!). Very strong breakfast buffet. One of the biggest hotel pool in EU! Superb atmosphere, very high prices for certain things! Overall a very nice experience, nice and friendly service! Will come back, especially after they finish to renovate all the rooms!

It remains a magical place not only for the marvelous view of the bay in which it is found but also for the architecture. The 'old' rooms must be taken !!

Very nice as a hotel, I would have liked to have seen a commemoration with the statue of "baby lion" having died on the spot way back in 2001.

The essence of the Costa Smeralda, a corner of paradise, to be lived intensely!

Lovely beach with all conveniences. Enough space next to the beds with umbrellas that can be rented. Which, by the way, costs a ridiculous amount of money.

Good costs? Unfortunately yes. Anyway, it's worth it. Writing criticism is much easier than giving praise. There is only one thing to say here - to come by here is to pamper your soul.

Extortionate prices 15 for water, 15 for soft drink, 20 French fries and 30 for a 3 minute taxi ride. Need a car as taxi required to anywhere outside hotel.

Have to take exception with the pricing for meals. We invited our Italian in laws, who own an apartment in Sardinia, for lunch just after arriving. It was a sumptuous buffet- made to order items included. At 110 euros drinks or wine not included, it was pricey but perhaps not outrageous. But when we got the bill, we discovered 110 euros was the price for people staying at the hotel. Our 4 guests were charged double- 220 euros each not including beverages- for lunch! We questioned the waiter with no success. At checkout, we complained to the desk clerk. He basically shrugged and did nothing. Needless to say, we did not invite our family there again. The dinner buffet is 220 euros for hotel guests. Does that mean it would be 440 for walk ins? We were afraid to ask. We had incredible meals on Sardinia for under 50 euros/person. $110 for buffet lunch should have been plenty. Double for walk ins is inexplicable.

Hotel Top 5 stars.Local beautiful. Perfect setting.Very wonderful views.Avoid staying in room 157/158 much kitchen noise as early as 6 am.When you book ask if there will be a wedding in the hotel for large groups.Eeh a lot of noise in the rooms. They recommend fantastic boat rides for all budgets.Great hotel notes to improve ..actually room 157e 158.Am sure to guide the wedding guests not to make noise at night.

Generally OK stay, but the hotel had appallingly rude staff.

We went for brunch with some friends, we weren't there, but you can book the restaurant anyway.
5-star service, all kinds of food with a lot of choice, fresh fish.
The 5-star service is also friendly and fast, not to mention the professionalism.
Well what about the environment ?! It was wonderful! Surrounded by greenery with a magnificent view also on the sea:
After eating you can go and relax on the deck chairs of their beach on the green, or sunbathe. I will go back every time I stop in Sardinia.

Very beautiful location, charming and with particular architecture, in full respect of the territory. The rooms and suites need to be renovated, considering the prices, they are really bad. Staff, with the exception of someone, friendly and attentive, adequate catering, but at very high prices, including refills on wines.

The structure is historic. The rooms are spacious, well furnished and very clean. Impossible to get bored thanks to the swimming pool with instructors, the well-equipped beach and water sports. My son tried water skiing for the first time.

What an amazing place. We loved the renovated suite with beautiful views from the balcony. Lunch Buffet/BBQ was fantastic. Service always very, very kind and helpful!

One of the best hotels on the Emerald Coast. Every summer they organize dinner and concert with international artists for August. It has a beautiful inner harbor from which you can arrive by sea to stay at the hotel or simply take a drink. Truly a dream place

Cala di Volpe is a natural port located in the territory of Arzachena, in the north-eastern part of Sardinia, in the historical and geographical region better known as Gallura, on the Costa Smeralda. Cala di Volpe is located between the Razza di Juncu beach and Capriccioli beach.

This bay is also famous for the eponymous luxury hotel designed by Jacques Couelle and for the fact that in the summer it is reached by the superpanfili that moor on the buoys, which are located in the southern part of the cove. Cala di Volpe also has a very small wooden pier.

Some sequences of the movie Agent 007 - The spy who loved me were filmed in this tourist resort.

A place of absolute charm. Embodies the spirit of the Costa Smeralda, it seems to return to the summers of the late 60s, the first 70 immortalized in some famous photos. All without looking old or old-fashioned. We eat very well.

I was for my niece's wedding .... it took place outdoors so walking on the lawn was not easy with heels and a long dress ... (in fact the dress got punctured and the heels of the sandals ruined) in addition it was cold .....
