Great location and nice room but the staff wasn t particularly friendly especially at check out when I questioned why the city tax wasn t added to the original bill.
I ve been travelling extensively and never had to pay for it on a business trip as it was always added to the booking fees as it is a legal requirement.
Very nice hotel part of the starhotels chain situated just 150 meters behind the Duomo of Milan. The room was very spacious and well kept. Shower head very functional with several settings. Just some troubles in setting the air/fan at the right temperature. The breakfast is at the level of a four stars hotel. The dinner in the restaurant was well served, slightly to the pricy side. The hotel is very good for corporate clients and leisure guests. The location keeps obviously the price quite high.

Location, location, location
This is a four star hotel so the expectations should be within this category. It was recently renovated but the renovation work wasn t done well. The best thing about this hotel is the location. It is walking distance to the Galleria. The rooms are clean and the front desk were always friendly. We took less than 3 min to check in which was great after a long distance trip. Car parking is an extra 50 euro but it covers the downtown government surcharges. Breakfast is not worth the 22 euros. You are better off having breakfast in one of so many cafes around the hotel. Prices varies so much from one day to another depending on events happening in the area. Overall I enjoyed the stay and I might come back just for the location. Follow to get the next review.
I satyed family grand deluxe room. enough space, stylish, good amenities. Location is best!!
But it's very popular...so quite crowded at checkin time.

the rating is mostly based on value for money.
you have to consider that this hotel charges prices that are beyond rude, especially given the wage level in Italy (if it was 1/3 of the price there would be 5 stars).
consider the following:
the rooms are quite small and standard.
the breakfast is mediocre at best (but the staff doesn't even manage to clean the tables, so depending on when you eat there won't be space...)
the gym does not deserve this name, there are 3 machines, some bikes and treadmills, that's it.
the served lunch /dinner (at Least if it is buffet) does not live up to Italian qualities or standards.
the toilets in the common area are hidden and not very pretty.
the front desk does not have power plug converters.
these are all minor things, forgivable in other hotels, but not if you call yourself a luxury place...
It was a pleasure returning to this central hotel.
I would highly recommend a stay here.

We were also greeted by hotel manager Mr Paolo Marroni who made sure we had an impeccable stay.

Great location. Nice hotel in a great location close to the Duomo and Galleria. Very extensive breakfast selections. Spacious triple room and nice bathroom. Excellent tv channels and handy smartphone. Clean hotel and friendly front desk.
Had a wonderful experience. The staff were so helpful and attentive. Luigi the manager made sure my stay was great. Any problem I had he was quick to resolve. Also Tatiana was so pleasant to deal with. She had a warm and rich smile that made the experience of Milan so much better. The hotel it's self so beautiful. Great bar to sit and restaurant. Modern and clean rooms. Also best part is it's seconds walk to the DUOMO!!
