Quick ,friendly as far as public government buildings go

I am on my there this is were I been trying to go for 16 years.

OK government agency, very stern in the fact that they are sure that they run things based on Arizona guidelines, and try to not always have to adhere to HUD FEDERAL GUIDELINES THAT ARE MANDATED NATIONALLY!!! However, with that said they do and hear more so with this office then some of the other offices I've had to deal with on a government contract level! I'm not saying that this is the best office in the state of Arizona, but I am not saying that this is the worst! That is why it is getting three stars, not two or four! I also think that they could better serve their customers if they had a better sign-up process at the front desk, better attitudes at the front desk, a better system to get upstairs for those with disabilities and a better understanding of my clients with disabilities! Not to mention UNDERSTAND ON A WHOLE OF DOMESTIC ABUSE AND SEXUAL ASSAULT SITUATIONS THAT OCCUR but that goes for all government agencies in the state of Arizona! We need to retrain from the inside out, that means giving men and women as a whole there voice back, balancing chakras, doing much energy and prayer work & allowing God, Spirit, Universe to heal and restore those that have been wounded in orders to help others to do the same! That starts on the inside and works to the outside, and then we have a whole and just justice system.

I have been waiting for the next step in the process to finally get my voucher. I applied for a certain voucher over three years ago. In the middle of the process, they switched to a new company. Now when I call, they don t even answer the phones. I waited for 30 minutes and finally hung up because nobody would answer. This is ridiculous.

Staff are not good and are not interested in low-income people

No one ever answers the phone. They might as well say "sorry, we are to busy to care about you".

I called today at 4:30 and was on hold for 20 minutes and no one answered. I hung up and called back and a message was turned on that the office was closed. I don't know who was working the phones on 9/12/18 at 4:40 but they were not doing any work just getting free taxpayer money for not doing their jobs!!!

The receptionist were both open we are in a big line & they decide to close one window...WOW!!!!!

I have been back and forth on waiting list.i got caught up while different people took over and some of my papers got lost so they withdrew my application. My caseworker or public housing caseworker will not return my calls,they say they put me back on but they didn t put me on vouchers again but on senior housing. The point is they say they did and they didn t . So I m trying other resources to resolve this. All they have to do or say is they can t help me

New company got things running quick. It use to be a nightmare coming here

I am a landlord with two properties in the program. I had a very simple question and called the department, but like all poorly managed government run operations I listened to over 5 minuets of recordings but couldn't get a person on the line. It is quite simple to see why there aren't enough properties or enough Land Lords willing to submit themselves or their properties to this horribly run organization. I will be removing my properties from the program after the leases expire subjecting the tenants to this inept program.

They were closed yet the door had signs posted stating they were open.

If you are single,broke or in a low income...this apartments are not for you.Theyre only for lying ladies with money who just want to live off the government.You wont get approved!!!!!!!

This is shithall of the place.As a landlord i had 3 properties for rent and now i am done.No more.All other landlords run away from this place.

What i get irritated about if you check my check list my number goes up and down the lady at front desk at housing authority very unprofessional i can hear her mumble behind glass at desk and say it itsnt going to happen i never been rude well there a complaint form you can file out and fax
I just dont understand why my waitlist number is 2 weeks lower 700 then i check and my number increased to 803 what the heck so i faxed my complaint form to housing authority rather than deal with rude unprofessional lady at receptionist desk

The gal in the office told me to call 211. I already knew about the help # that : never answers and never helps. I went all the way there on a bus for nothing!!!

Lost my recertification papers when I brought them in the office.

There is no way to call this department. I was given a notice with a phone number to call. I've call several times for two days. I've pushed every option, and their is simply no possible way to talk to a human. The only option to speak with someone leads you to dead air for ever - well seemingly forever. I hang up after 10 minutes. Our tax dollars hard at work.

If there is less than a star I would choose it.

The people in this office was friendly and answer my questions.

They are horrible don't ever fix things the way they should and miss treat their tenets lack of communication and have repair men come late or call and say they can't come

Is sad when you get arrested for trespassing and you was a few days from signing a lease for the 2nd time. Can't even see my man of 7 and half years. Thanks to lies from Apt.mang.

They have u on the phone on hold for hours then at 4pm when they close the phones shut off on u while on hold for hours , this is beyond not right , visiting their office is no better this place needs help

The reception staff are pleasant. They are unorganized and lose applications and information. They don't return emails. Now that Quadel is running it, the office closes at 4:00p.m. Tgere isnti any consideration for people's time. Mom

I have been waiting since 2004 for my Voucher finally got it this June ,but can't get into a place. I have been going to every place I see checking the internet every day craigslist the papers, talking to every one I come in contact with about my need and no luck most of the places say there not taking Section 8 any more do to no payments on time from section 8, plus They want two 1/2 to 3 times the amount of the voucher towards the deposit and I have two dogs they want pet rent no refundable fees and I don't have a penny to my name I am have been staying with a friend for the pass three years on and off and the family wants me to move on and now my times up to get a place through section 8 and now it's back out on the street. I just want to cry my eyes out and scream why is this happening I am so sick and I can't work Social Security says I am not disabled And I need more Doctors visit and more importantly they need to have more to make there finding but can't get to the Doctors from where I am staying there so no buses for 5 miles that even come out here I am disabled I have given u doctors documentation but need more to provide for social security I need more assistance with housing and guidance to the housing please assist me further

I have a horrible time trying to speak to someone who actually can help me.. I call the housing number and I get the same rude girl every time... And when I ask her questions she don't know and when I ask to be transferred to a supervisor she tells me all she can do is email them and for me to wait for their response... I've waited 12 years for my voucher and I finally got it but I feel like I'm going to lose it cause I don't know what I'm doing and I'm still waiting for my case manager and supervisor to call me or email me back... I need help really bad but there is no one there to assist me...

They are horrible, rude, and very unprofessional. I have been trying to get the hell out of Arizona since April & still no response, they refuse to add my husband who is not nor has he ever been a felon. I'm in the process of cleaning my credit now to buy a home, they can take their voucher, its not worth the headache.

Ever since Arizona Quadel came into the picture ( my friend lost their voucher, due to their neglectful approaches, and apartment complex call the Resort of 27th that this housing agency is affiliated with), and it has been nothing but pure hell with the fire of a lake burning. This program along with the City of Phoenix Housing Authority, put my friend and her child to be homeless and had nowhere to turn ( you guys did not even put her up in a hotel until the issue was fixed, oooh but you do it for those who are not legal or on drugs or look a certain way to your liking ( I sense discrimination/prejudice).

This program is designed to prevent homelessness, and you guy failed, with your so call education obtained at the university, training on the job and the entire system period. Not only that but you guys only want to do for certain individuals, families ( that look and be a certain way, and who abuse the program). You put a 8 to 10 year old in a one bedroom, are you serious?

Also, my friend was treated as if they was living in prison at most of the slum lords apartment complexes, in which this office is affiliated with. Might I add the inspectors have no Public Health education, degree nor license to top it off. Most of these individuals working in this office is not even qualified to work here, but here they are making my friend and a lot of others homeless over BS lies, and Segregation along with their fake informers.

Take a look at these pictures of the conditions my friend was residing in during this program. They sent me these pics of their child's milk spoiling over fridge not working properly and the mold with roaches, bugs walking on them that is not viewable and the list goes on. Prior my friend was residing at an apartment in Phoenix Az, and her eye has a few ball like things under her lid and Medicaid will not cover her visits to check her eye and eyelids due to this apartment complex ( which was report along with pictures and nothing was done about it).

If this is the way the Federal money is being used and abused. Then the Federal government needs to pull their money out of the City and State and especially for this program. Take it away for all not only one type of race, ethnicity, color, gender, and so on.

Then there is certain areas here in Phoenix, where you can't live here, you can't live there and you can't move to this Avenue or that street and this building and that building, cant walk here or there, can't shop here or there ( when on the program and even off). Most of these people do not even own the property and do not own the damn streets and acting as if they do. I have a question, if I was in another country other than the USA, Would that country give me welfare benefits, Section 8, or any type of housing period? I DO NOT THINK SO LOVE

Then when my friend was on this section 8 program her children could not do a lot of things, but as soon as someone else's child screams, laugh play, and do whatever they feel like it, it is okay and there is no problem. This is not segregation this is a new ERA so get with it people. WAKE UP AND SMELL THE DAMN MOCHA.
These are the conditions Section 8/ Quadel of Arizona had my friend residing in, and it is unacceptable. I think that Washington DC should really be in on this , to see how there funds and money is being used and abused. So since you guys screwed my friend over, I got you.

If there are any lawyers who will be willing to take my friends case, due to health hazardous conditions please contact me through this and I will forward it to her. Either way something's got to give and this was the last straw for this piece of wanna be fake we care about the people program.

This should be broadcast nationwide and I am going to make it my business to do just that. Because you can not treat one better than the other. It does not work like that, maybe in the 18-1900s but not in this modern times.

Nobody answers the phone been on hold for 30 minutes

I been living here for almost 3 years already I have so far whent thru a lot already here the kids run around making a mess the parents don't seem to say anything to them and last time the clean up guy told me if I don't wash the graffiti of the side walk I was going to be given a ticket he litterly stood there till I washed it off and the messed up part was that was no we're near my side of the lawn . And he still said I had to clean it work orders here are horrible I been wanting to bake and use my oven and I can't because it doesn't work I was told that I had to light the bottom myself and it's dangerous how do they expect me to do it myself and they didn't wana change my oven they said oh just light it up and they left and once they had did that the oven worked for a second as soon as I closed the oven door it turned off. I haven't used it seens and then I tried to place a work oder about my door bein broken and they never answer the phn so I just gave up and it took them a week to fix my sink pipe was broken and window was shared and they didn't care. Now I get inspection and they complained about my door bein broken and that I have 10 days to get that fixed and that my stove is dirty when I cleaned it up how much Morent do they want my stove clean I did the best I could and that my oven has to much pots inside this is so ridicules . Something needs to change

It is very difficult to get hold of the person in charge of the section 8 payments. Cannot reach by phone nor by email.

Brought the Notice of Non-Renewal of Lease to the Lobby in Person. Was unable to reach anyone through phone messages, email messages, and even attempts at Faxing messages. They ended up scanning the papers wrong. I waited a week & a half for my Searching Papers, and showed up looking for them. It was a Friday and I had already lost $150 application fees due to their mistake, and my worker almost refused to even meet with me. I waited for a few hours, was at their mercy. This new Quadel management is worse than before. I've been with them for 10 years and the situation now is Grave. They are incompetent, from the receptionist on up. BTW, I personally know of 2 families who have lost their voucher due to their incompetence. So utterly disappointed.
