Very good food. Service with a smile. The gator tail was excellent.
Food was delicious and the service was great. My only issue/recommendation is that the pasta could have had about half the amount of sauce, it drowned out the yummy shrimp I had added. I ll definitely be back!

I usually love this place but we came for the first time last week since COVID happened. The new menus have a major misprint on them that says the peel and eat shrimp are served by the pound for $10.25. I knew that s a lot of food, but since they re only served by the pound I didn t want to be extra and ask them to bring me a half pound if they didn t have any portioned out. I only ate about half of the shrimp but since the prices were so low (I thought they were low since they just reopened and wanted to bring in business) I wasn t going to be upset at the food waste. Come time for the bill and I m charged $20.50 for my entree! The server (who was nice) just said the menu had a misprint and several people had commented on it that day. But still took my money. I didn t know I had an option to order a half pound. I thought I was ordering one entree, but due to the misprint on the menus they brought me two and didn t say anything when I was ordering. Didn t say anything when they dropped the food. Didn t say anything when dropping the check. And didn t offer to fix it when I asked about it.
Nice atmosphere and great service. Many fried items here: alligator bites or fillet, shrimp, catfish. All are nicely and lightly breaded and delicious. All items served in a basket. Best part of the meal was the Peach Cobbler.... Heated alamode style with good vanilla icecream and enjoyed cream and caramel drizzled on top!!! Photo attached.
After a long trip, my food wasn t done as I expected, and even worse, a man in the kitchen wasn t wearing gloves when handling food. I m good!

The food is really very good, I've eaten here several times since moving to the area and have never been disappointed in the service from the wait staff or from the quality of the food I've had. The kitchen however is slooooooow, and the closer to closing it is, the slower they become. It could be just because they are short-handed. But all in all it's still a very good place to eat, and I will be back.

Chose this place because of the reviews, most of the food that we wanted to try they were out of. The crab legs were delicious though and my Husband enjoyed his steak!
The service and our experience is the best in the Shoals! Food is amazing. Everything we order is always fresh and we have never been anything but pleased with our orders. Highly recommend!

Worst service EVER tonight ... Server needs a different occupation as this one doesn't suit her customers needs very well . The run down: Waited for drinks . Waited for straws . Flagged a different waitress down for straws ... Asked for napkins ( 2 kids at table) Went and got my own napkins. Waited for refills . Got food ...3 of us .. the 4th waited Never saw her again. Yes we needed something , no our food was not all right , thanks for not coming back and asking .... Dirty plates still on table ... Drinks empty Asked diners leaving if they saw her to send her out . Waited ... Asked for to go boxes . Waited . Sent husband for the boxes. End of story . To top it off it was his Birthday dinner with the Grandkids who wanted to go there to feed the fish ... Beatrice ... You need a new career .

I am from mobile ala seafood is always fresh and done right so moving back i was scared i would be doing without fresh seafood, then a friend took me to eat at river bottom fell in love with this place, the only way to say this is try and enjoy peace out

Food was very good but the sweet tea wasn't very sweet. Service was also a little slow. All in all a good place that is worth going to.

Great Food - Great Service - Poor Planning 27 Nov 2019 6PM Everything was great, but they were out of so much food. They said it was due to only being open a few days the week of Thanksgiving, but come on. We got lucky that most of our food was available, but they probably should have just closed for the week. Although, we re glad they didn t because we did enjoy our time and food there.
Good was worth the 15 minute trip there from church & 30 minutes back home. Waitress wasn't able to keep up with our party of 3 & one other party of 6. Not impressed with the waiter to say the least.
This is a neat experience, with the restaurant floating in the Florence Harbor. In the middle of the restaurant, you can look down and see huge catfish(and feed them). I love the Island Chicken and the alligator tail bites.

Atmosphere is good. Waitress are super great. Sat on the top outside, there are spider webs and spiders everywhere. Made me very uncomfortable as I am so scared of spiders. Ate on the edge of my seat. Other than that food and service were great.
This place is right on the water with great food, the burgers were amazing all of them are double cheeseburgers and they are huge. I had the fried oyster rap that was delicious. Only reason it didn't get 5 stars because it was super crowded and the smoke from the kitchen kind of feel the upstairs bar area and burned our eyes. Prices are very reasonable and the 10 to $15 range for everything
The food was superb and our little waitress was Melissa or Alissa and she was awesome! It was so loud in there that I couldn't hardly hear her name but we absolutely love the place!

I just found this restaurant after moving away and coming back to visit family. They have AMAZING food. I got the fish plate and fried pickles. Their mixed drinks are good too they also give you Plenty to eat and drink. I will be back on the 15th.
Over half of the menu they didn't have!! The whole reason we came here was for crab claws and crab legs. Out of both!! All 3 entrees I wanted, OUT of all 3!! Least they did have alligator bites and bud light in a bottle.
Went there on Father's day. Service was slow. Son order Mai-Mai, finally came after everyone had finished eating but was Salmon. Every bodies food was over cooked. Couldn't get unsweet tea refills.
Typical USA restaurant. Full blast caloric bombs but in the end it's not bad. Succulent dishes, excellent beer.
Thank goodness they let us out or we would still be in there.
I really enjoyed this place for the whole experience. A bit pricey, but not outrageous. I really like the fish and chips. It's fun to eat and look out on the water. Great place for dates and holidays. Check out the hole in the floor where you can see the fish!!
