I love this place. It's great to sit outside on the deck overlooking the water and watch the boats go by. I had a cheeseburger and French fries and they were fantastic .

Hamburger had a funny taste. Fries were cold. Service is Great. Just may have been a bad day.

This place is so good! Food came out quick and there was no mistakes. This place was packed and our wait time was understandable. And you never would have guessed they were as busy because our waitress was on it! Next time I come to Florence I will eat here again. Beautiful place

Love the atmosphere, great waiter, drinks were amazing, good food. Only downside the chicken was a little dry.

Had an hour wait for a table. Food was ok, nothing special or spectacular.

They make a great bloody Mary and the fried pickles are delicious. I'll be back.

Very nice shrimp cocktail. Alligator tail, taste like chicken, small pieces breaded and fried, get the shrimp. Catch of the day grilled white fish was good. Surf & turf was very good. Sat out side, very comfortable. I would go back.

The appetizer was not good. Our waitress left in the middle of her shift and did not bother to tell us so we had to find someone else to take care of us. He was wonderful. The food was just ok and for $76 I should be saying it was wonderful because the only thing we drank was water. And just FYI never serve a yeast roll with a fish dish! Not sure we'll go back.

I have found my new floating burger joint!!!! They have seafood too. They have these crazy thin battered Tobacco onions. I thought they spelled Tobasco wrong but Haley our super excellent Bartender explained the tasty treat. Great atmosphere on the beautiful Tennessee River. Even if you don t get a seat outside, they have enough windows to take in the great view. Casual and comfortable is the attire. Cold craft beers too! Can t wait to go back. Happy to have them in The Shoals!!!

Waitress was great, food came out fast and it was good. First place we ate when visiting florence and wasn't disappointed.

My best friend, Summer, and myself go at least once a week when RBG is open. Love the staff and atmosphere! Ashton is great at the bar and Micah is awesome as the owner/manager! We can't wait for our next visit!

Menu options include hearty appetizers, tastey sandwiches on flatbread, and sevaral seafood choices that are great plain, blackened, or with a Cajun seasoning.
Everything on the menu is worth a try. They even have the best burgers in the Shoals! Their excellent service paired with a great view of the Tennessee River will have you coming back time and time again.

My girlfriend was vegan and the server was very polite accomodating. I had the frog legs. Good food, nice setting.

Great atmosphere, location is fun. I went on the final night of the season. The menu was limited due to the season closing. The waiter made all efforts to fill the void. I cannot rate the location higher due to not having a full menu. I will return in the spring and reevaluate.

Dinner was good. We really enjoyed the crab claws! I had the pimento burger and it was huge. Some of my husband's shrimp was not de-veined completely. I was super disappointed that they did not have the three desserts on their menu. I had my heart set on one .

We absolutely love this place ! Was very busy so we chose to sit at the bar. We were not disappointed at all! The bartenders were top notch! Food was great. Service excellent! Highly recommend

My husband and I had a very relaxing time. There was an hour and half wait. Looking out over the water was very relaxing. The food was delicious and our waiter was wonderful. Highly recommend for a date night.

Very friendly and courteous staff. Had the gator first followed by a 22oz steak. It sure was good. Cooked almost perfectly. Great view from the top deck out over the water

We visited the River Bottom Grille on Saturday, September 29th, the day of the dragon races on the river. We traveled in from Scottsboro and wanted some river-side ambiance. We sat on the patio and we were a little taken aback by the river-odor on the patio, but when the food arrived -- pure bliss. We just had burgers and fries, but the quality was superb. The beef was delicious and juicy, grilled perfectly. Highly recommended by both my husband and me. By the way, they don't mention it on the menu, but the burgers have two patties, which makes them enormous -- definitely a meal. Love the River Bottom Grille and can't wait to return. Try it. You won't be sorry. (By the way, we drove to Atlanta earlier in the week especially to visit Wahlburgers, and River Bottom's burger was superior!)

Ok place to eat. Steak was tough, tilapia needed more seasoning, crab claws were small and over cooked, several had no meat at all!

Definite stop for the best eats. Servings were very large.

Best seafood ever! Closed Jan & Feb. Reopen in Mar.

LOVE to eat here! I love the atmosphere, the food, and the servers. Our favorite appetizer is the fried pickles. My favorite thing to eat is the grilled fish and omg the potato salad is AMAZING.

Great place on the river. Great staff and even better food. Good view of the open water and watch the boats coming back in. You can run feed the fish from in the restaurant or from the outside on the pier. Plenty of parking available.

The first time my family and I ate here it was awesome. This evening the food was awful. I don t know if they lost their cook in the last few months or what, but we couldn t eat the shrimp cause it was like chewing on a balloon, and the steaks weren t cooked right at all. Had 0 flavor. When they brought the replacements, they were even worse. On the plus side, the mixed drink I had was phenomenal and so was our waitress. She was very sweet and understanding.

This place is awesome. Right on the water with a view and great food and drinks.

Great Restaurant to relax that has a very comfortable atmosphere good cold beverages and good food at a reasonable price.
The only eating establishment on the water in this area , a marina is here also that rents pontoon boats and sells diesel and gasoline

Like this place a lot. The food here is good, fair portion sizes although can be a small if you opt for seafood. We love to sit on the balcony outside. Service is usually good, the wait staff are friendly and laid back. We try not to go when it is busy (Friday and Saturday evenings and Sunday from opening until after lunch are particularly bad with long wait times and slow service). Alcoholic drinks are not their strong suit, but draught beer and wine options are fair. Overall we come for the food and atmosphere and are only rarely disappointed.

One of the best burgers in the Shoals. Love the fries too. Often get the fish and chips which are always good. Nice view of the river as you eat. We love to eat here.

Food was great. Hostess was rude. Not very clean. We were put outside it was windy the shade was broken and it kept blowing in beating us. Bad experience waiting is awful long , went early called ahead still wait over an hour. The food was good dispute everything else.

Views are great food is on point. Wait staff has always been friendly and will recommend good choices of food. Will definitely come back.

Great service but food was mediocre. It you want Standfield's food go to Standfield's. They're so much better and if you want seafood go to Lash's on 101. Everything we had was overcooked and condiments seemed watered down.

A...MAZ...ING... went to River Bottom Grill with the family and the food was Fantastic. We started off with the Alligator tail and it was delicious. For my meal I was a little unsure about ordering a Flat but chose to try one anyway. I ended up with the Smoked Brisket...The flavor and the heat perfect. Two people in our party split a Boiler and they were VERY happy with their selection. Yet another had the Shrimp Happens and I was able to sample a few. They were also Delicious!
We will be back HERE!!! SO GOOD!

Tried to go for lunch and it says closed until March

We went on a Sunday evening around 530. It wasn't busy and we had no wait, which was great...i ordered lemon pepper grilled chicken and a baked potato...had to pay 3.50 for a salad, but was a good sized salad and very pretty, and delicious. My lemon pepper chicjen lacked the lrmon pepper, but was probably the best grilled chicken I've ever had...potato was great, would've been better with real butter. My husband got the 6 oz ribeye...very disappointing...looked like a small piece of sandwich steak. Expected a small steak, but the char flavor was just too intense for such a thin steak . The waitress situation i can't understand. We had 4 to 5 different servers, each one brought something different. All in all, I was happy with my meal, my husband's meal was eaten, just very disappointing. I would definitely recommend the grilled chicken, and I will definitely go back for that alone.
