I did the online auction. Bid 1 dollar in the beginning, got outbid to 4 dollars. So I went ahead and put max bid at 20.00. That was what it sold to me for, was my max bid. Every auction I've been too only goes over the last bid. They don't just take your max bid and charge you that. It means that IF someone else bids I will bid up until 20.00. When I got there to pick up item, I had made an appointment as requested by bidwilson.com, well that was pointless. It was such a clusterf**k of people outthere spilled on to the main road and no sort of order at all. I will not be going back there or using this auction site again.

First I most say every one I talked to was kind and tried to be helpful. Now that being said if you decide to participate on one of there auctions go there in person and register whatever the wait. DO NOT TRUST THE APP for Wilson Auction Co. for the following reason. I tried this App and found after a long day at a consignment sale it had lost, or no longer listed items I had set prebid amounts on after registering and trusting my credit card to. Concerned I went back to auction and spoke directly with staff who assured me my bids were intact and would be honored. At end of auction I went to pay and was told I had no bids and did not win any items. When I questioned how that could happen and why the winning bid was what I had earlier made they had no explanation. I was told I could wait and speak directly to the person who did the App work, which is what I did. I waited until everyone else was helped and spoke directly with staff who did app work. I got a apology and a promise for a follow up call which is the best that could be offered. To date NO CALL and I am still waiting. To be clear NO ONE was rude or evasive but the results are the same. Auctions are as is and the auctioneer most honor the sale, with no record but what Wilson Auction had they had no choice, again if you go, register DO NOT TRUST their App!!!

I am writing to express my sincere gratitude to Mr...

I am writing to express my sincere gratitude to Mr. Tony Wilson and the entire team at Wilson Auction Company and Nicholls Auction Marketing Group for the exceptional experience with the auction of my dad's home in Stafford Virginia. Prior to this we had not considered auctioning the home nor did my family have any experience with real estate auctions. I always thought home auctions were only for homes in foreclosure or bank-owned. I reached out to Tony after a wonderful person, with experience in the world of auctions, referred me to him directly.

Initially, Tony spent at least 60 to 90 minutes on the phone with my dad and me discussing the typical process of auctioning a home and answering our many questions. Following that meeting he corresponded with me through multiple emails and texts. During the entire process, both before we decided to auction the property and after, he was the ultimate professional. Tony was extremely patient, compassionate, respectful and honest. He communicated clearly with Dad, me and my brother; we never were left wondering what was next. He basically took us by the hand and walked us through the entire process.

Dad decided to auction his home without a reserve. We do believe that this increased the interest in his property and because Tony had educated us we felt confident that the sale would be a success. Tony made it very clear from the beginning that if our expectations were unrealistic he would tell us.

At the auction Mr. John Nichols from Nicholls Auction was our auctioneer. It was quite an experience! Again such a professional.

The auction was a great success! Kathy Woodcock took over after the sale and prepared things for closing. She communicated with me and with my dad and remained available to us if we had any further questions. Now we are just waiting to close.

We are excited to refer Wilson Auction Company! Thank you to everyone!

Without a doubt, the most professional auction company I've ever seen. Very clear as to the terms, large staff to assist bidders, audible, precise auctioneer. No mysteries as to what's going on.
The auctions are well promoted and heavily attended.

There is no way we can express adequately our appreciation of Wilson Auction Company s helpfulness and professionalism. They made everything go smoothly for our family when we decided to sell our home in Culpeper, VA. With no experience in dealing with this type of auction, the team here at Wilson Auction Company definitely put us at ease in charting this unfamiliar territory. We were thrilled to work with a family owned and operated business. The team is super friendly, helpful and knowledgeable! We were impressed with the marketing and outreach that were done; the online photos and listing really drove both in-person and online bids. They took care of all of the details, from helping with offers, to helping with closing. We relied on them for guidance and they came through every time. The owner, Tony, is super nice and we enjoyed working with him throughout the process. We recommend Wilson Auction Company without reservation and we hope you will have the good fortune to have them working for you just as they worked for us. Our proceeds well exceeded our expectations!

I recently sold items at the Wilson Online Auction...

I recently sold items at the Wilson Online Auction. The advertisement read "*No charge to Seller if consigned before May 6th, 2020. *Some Restriction Apply."

I should have reviewed the contract before signing. Anything that sold below $250, the Seller was charged a 30% commission. Ouch! That would be *Some Restrictions Apply that was mentioned in the ad.

I should have paid more attention to the fine print. Lesson learned.

In the end... Seller Beware is my message.
