One of the better outdoor concert stadiums in Sydney alongside the newly constructed Parramatta Stadium.
Parking is easy particularly during big events. If you can get tickets to a music concert to seating on level 4 you will have a great view with short lines for food and toilets.

Entry and exiting were fine, food and beverage costs about average prices but during Queen Concert last night, A6 floor level areas (all of them) totally unacceptable seating arrangements for such expensive seats. The plastic chairs were cable ties to the next chair so no movement. Fine if you are normal size but if slightly overweight, No way you can sit like that. I felt like a sardine.

Beautiful stadium and park. You can see how much planning that went into building this place and well thought out on how to transport people in & out. I hope there will be more Olympics in their future.

Easy to get to, easy parking (expensive though). You need a personal loan to park, eat or drink. 1 pie, 1 water 1 mid strength Canadian club and a tray was 60c, total $20. Parking, $30 ends up an expensive day out if everyone wants something to eat or drink.

Good sporting venue with all codes on offer as well as hosting music and other festivals.

Easy access via public transport (often included in ticket price), which can be best as the numerous car parks are very difficult to leave after respective events. Street parking is unavailable or extortion during these times.

Alternatively:

If travelling by car try and Pre-book the P1 car park if wanting to be close to the stadium.

If travelling by motorbike, free parking when entering P1.

Terrible wifi (non existent in many areas). Lines 80 to 100 deep for drinks. Shocking traffic after events. Side vendors only take cash. Everything that's wrong with Sydney stadium experiences on show here. Oh and surprise bonus, unable to get out of gridlocked carpark for over an hour.

We attended the final performance of The Royal Edinburgh military tattoo and came away somewhat disappointed.
The show lacked real Military content along with sufficient pipes & drums.
Why did they display the Aboriginal colours next to the flags of Nations who made significant contributions.
It was The Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo in Australia not a continual smoking ceremony and welcome to the point we were bored and embrassed to our International guests. They like us believe in one people one nation.
Many of the acts were entertaining but not of a military tattoo standard. In fact outside of the bands until we had the pleasure of the Swiss Secret Drum Corp the show was similar to what one may find on Reality TV Shows not a $200 a seat event of the statue of The Tattoo.
The shows only other act to live up to the normal quality of performance was the NZ Lochiel Marching Drill Team.
Again I repeat acts not the bands.
Why was John Paul Young part of the show, was it because he was born in Scotland, his act was propped up by dancers who again belonged on a concert stage not a Tattoo parade ground.
What have I to back this up you might ask, well I am a regular attendee at The Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo including last year in Edinburgh.
The lack of quality was perhaps the reason that ticket sales were well and truly underway before the composition of this Tattoo was announced and even offers like two for one tickets failed to fill the stadium often like the final performance hundreds of seats remained vacant whereas in Edinburgh its always a sell out event before night one.
Good try but not up to the standards of previous visits.

It's a big stadium so binoculars are useful if you really want to see what's happening. Prices are better now than they were a few years ago. The place is easy to get around, public transport is great, seats relatively well marked to find your seats, pies, and drinks where good. Can sit more than 30,000 people and still feel like a lot of more space
Many doors to enter. The shows only other act to live up to the normal quality of the performance was the NZ Lochiel Marching Drill Team. The venue is wheelchair friendly, toilets are close by, medical staff in attendance, security staff to help with any problem. Easy to find your seats and transport to and from CBD is relatively seamless.

One of the famous stadiums in Sydney. Located at Sydney Olympic Park outside of the CBD the stadium has plenty of paid parking stories and eateries around. Pubic transport options for bus and train are also very close by.
