The food would have actually deserved five stars - very tasty and good portion. However, ordering from foodora was not great: when placing the order, it said 45 minutes, then jumped to 65, and then it said "arrives in less than 5 minutes" for more than half an hour!

Service equal to zero. First we were served the wrong dish, and it was ok, that's how it happens. But then they failed to accept the right order five times in a row. Salad serves them straight from the bag which meant I got the rotten salad on my starch. When I told in, they came and took away the bag and the bag of food and came back with an empty clean bag. In other words, they threw in half the food I ordered so it ended up paying the full price for half the portion. Didn't get new cutlery either and my girlfriend got cold food. Will never return yours again. Would have had better experience if I went to McDonalds

They are cheater. In 99 NOK you get buffet and in 39 nok you get a nan bread that too is very small. There is no consideration for kids. Even for 4-5 year kids they charge full. I never saw such kind of sardarji.

Amazing Indian restaurant in the heart of Oslo.

Amazing Indian restaurant in the heart of Oslo.
Just finished my second dinner at Jaipur Indian restaurant and I absolutely loved the food. From prompt service to lip-smacking curries, they leave no stone unturned.

In fact, we had made a special request for non-spicy food due to an allergy towards spice, and the chefs more than took care of our needs. They prepared delicious vegetables and rice suited perfectly to our taste buds.

If you're in Oslo for a night and craving for some tasty and satisfying food to end your day, Jaipur restaurant is a must try!!

Wanderful place to have a comforting Indian Lunch, and for only 99,- kr for the buffet from 11:00-14:30 its a bargon!
They let me know that i could take food even after 14:30 because that time was the last hour they seated people
Sevrol different meat ( chicken tikka, fish curry etc) and vegetarian dishes (dal, coliflower curry, cickpea curry etc!) With dressing, spiced/normal rice and fresh salad
Water you take as much as you want and if you wanted a naan bread its a little extra (30,-kr ish).
The atmsphere is cosy and by the window a great view of the Karl Johan Street!
All in all a great experience for me! 100% im coming back

Travelling from India... Our comfort food lies in Indian food mostly.... While exploring Oslo...we came across many indian restaurants and one among them being Jaipur restaurant... It's on the main Street and can b easily located... Filled with food lovers majorly locals and not indians... We had this feeling that it would b really good for locals to enjoy it so much... We had dal makhni and Punjabi chicken masala naan and rice... And believe me the taste of India was very much there....
We would recommend it to all Indian travellers... :)

Very nice staff. Great food. Clearly labeled vegetarian and vegan options. Only minus is you have to ask if you want the food to be mild as they only ask you if you want medium or spicy.

Food was average ( quantity not enough) . The staff is very unfriendly. They were very rude. Just close to that restaurant is another Indian restaurant named New Delhi and the food is better there.

Ordered a Chicken Tikka Masala - Vindaloo spicyness with plain naan and samosas. Samosas were very good, chicken was spicy but the sauce could have been a bit more creamy. All in all still worth its money.

Ok

Here you get a good lunch for kr. 99, if you drink more water and do not order nan bread. This is good Indian food. You can enjoy taste and exoticism, and be lucky to get a window seat towards Egertorget where "everyone" meets, a point which is one of the most pervasive in relation to people who are in Norway. Maybe 200,000 a day? I was once told that at the National Theater METRO, it passes 70,000 people a day, so this loose assumption, the idea that by sitting in the 2nd floor of Jaipur and looking out the window, I might consider a lot of people in a small area during the day the most populated. Take the pulse on Norway. With good Indian food.

That's how the writers do it. The artists - the artists - the writers who gather once in a while at Jaipur. Here is a written language not many people know about. Here Henrik Ibsen had been if he had lived today.

It is recommended not to leave Norway without eating at Jaipur with window space towards Egertorget.

Meet every time. Have eaten here about ten times. The food is exquisite. It is close between the tables and often very many people. I like being a little quiet around me when eating, and to me it's a bit too noisy when it's most busy. But I can't draw them in character because they do well

Absolutely great Indian food. It s located in the center of Oslo. Prices are ok, the service and the ambience was really good. You get a feeling of India when you come inside this restaurant which is nice. I recommend one of the lamb dishes, you actually have a lot of options on how spicy you want it, so if you don t like tasty at all you should go for the medium. What I liked about this restaurant is that the staff is coming every 5-10min just to check so you have everything you need. I will give this restaurant 9/10 and I am willing to visit this place again. They also offer a all you can eat buffet during the lunchtime and the price is 99kr but I haven t tried that yet.

It is an excellent place to dine at Oslo. The lunch buffet was the one we had during our visit. Definitely I can say that the food on their menu will be extremely awesome. This is just what I have felt after having our lunch at this place. Super good and friendly staff. Highly recommend this place for all the travelers to Oslo.

I have eaten here several times a year for ten years now and am always happy. We have had guests from different countries with different taste preferences and allergies and have always been welcomed. Fair price, especially considering the location. Has gluten-free naan breads so far the only Indian in the entire city. Highly recommended!

Great place with great food. It was very full when we were there and had to wait a bit. But they are very effective and with a smile on your mouth, so you don't get the impression of being stressed by them. Ate chicken tikka masala, and garlic clove. Tasted as expected. Highly recommend eating here if you want Indian in the center. :)

REAL CHEAP FOOD IN OSLO!!

REAL CHEAP FOOD IN OSLO!!

IF YOU'RE IN OSLO YOU NEED TO COME HERE.

Never had such good curry and naan in my life. It's some delicious food that they serve!!! Their curries aren't oily and greasy like many cheap buffet place. Instead it actually tasted authentic! The naan is good too that it's softly chewy and not too thick. Im very impressed with the food quality. There are a range of curry to choose from some with meats (lamb / pork / chicken) and others with veggie like beans. The lamb is SO tender!!! And I like the yellowish chicken curry the best, it's very flavorful and refreshing. Drinks and naan aren't included in the buffet though. There's only water. But that's reasonable enough at this price. Would've been nice if they also had soft drink dispensers with a refill drink add on option for the buffet.
