Beautiful hotel. Former monastery, he kept the charm of the place and added the grandiose side. Inside a bar and rooms that make you enjoy the space, wide corridors, spacious rooms with perfect bedding. Outside a lush greenery in front of Venice, and only 20 minutes by boat. Easy access and you can not be disappointed. During the biennale of contemporary art, the old chapel was used to exhibit a majestic work. Take a look at the pictures below, you will understand the atmosphere of the place ... Good stay for the lucky ones because the rates are high.

Beautiful and ancient hotel on the island of San Clemente well connected to Piazza San Marco, a beautiful garden with swimming pool and a small golf course; excellent catering; good service.
We were here for the second time and this time for 3 nights. The hotel is architecturally absolutely fantastic and the location and facilities are breathtaking.
The reception team, the concierge and the Acquerello restaurant team are great, great! There is absolutely NOTHING to complain about here!
Unfortunately, on our second visit we found that the service (explicitly except for the Concierge and Restaurant Acquerello, everything was great here!) Was mostly poor and neither did justice to the price nor the demands of the hotel. The staff, especially at breakfast, is hectic and sometimes poorly trained. Even at the bar, at the pool and at breakfast, the staff did not spill anything with commitment: non-alcoholic beer was over, we waited 35 minutes for a cheese platter for an aperitif. An order was regularly lost. Newly fashionable little electronic bells at the pool to order drinks and food did not work and the shelves for towels were constantly empty. At breakfast from 10:00 there were almost only bread and baguettes lying around. When we asked to bring a bottle of water to the table, they said we should get it ourselves from the buffet.
All in all well but not for the price. There is a lot to improve here!
It's a shame that the team isn't as good everywhere as in Acquerello and at reception.
Great pool. That's about it. Nice rooms but very very small, and I had the Superior. Great bathroom though. If your into super snooty places then go here, way over the top posh for me
Was looking forward to staying at another Kempinski hotel but left disappointed and doubtful I will ever stay at another. First off, the exclusivity of the private island seemed like a draw but turned out to be isolating and an inconvenience. During the first or second shuttle ride, you think "wow this is great." After that, it's an annoyance. Further, the shuttle didn't consistently run on schedule almost causing me to miss dinner reservations and trains on the main island. There really wasn't an excuse for the shuttle to run late except that the captain had no sense of urgency nor was he mindful of keeping the time. The shuttle also stops for an hour at 1:00 which was inconvenient. Worse off, you're at the merci of the shuttle schedule -- the first one isn't until 9:00 AM so forget early excursions. I had to pay $100 for a water taxi to make a 9:30 train for a day trip. Aside from the shuttle service, the service of the wait staff was, by far, the worst I have ever experienced. Each time I went to the hotel bar, I had to ask if they were open because the bartenders hide in the kitchen. Once you place an order, they go back into the kitchen to hide until you flag them down again. There is no attention to service. The only time the bartender became visible was when he wanted to present the check so that he could close up and leave. After spending $200 at the hotel bar basically begging to be served, the following night, I bought a bottle of wine instead so I didn't have to deal with the bartenders and was given an attitude when I asked for him to cork it. The outdoor deck waitstaff was just as bad, if not worse. The waitstaff never acknowledged us or came around asking if we needed anything. I pressed the "call" button at least 15 times and no one ever came around. I moved my seat to be more visible and flagged down a waiter who couldn't get my "overly complicated" order correct - one pizza, one side of fries and an Aperol Spritz. At $10 per coffee, $20 per drink, and $30 per individual pizza, I expected better service. As far as housekeeping goes, things did not get any better - soaps, waters, and towels didn't get replenished even when asked and turn down service was only half way completed. Lastly, in an effort to put the miserable experience behind me, I went for a massage at the spa on my last day. 15 minutes into my treatment, the television from the fitness center below began blasting making the whole experience far from relaxing. On a positive note, the front desk staff and concierges were pleasant.
Fairytale place, the fact that it can only be reached by boat because on an island it gives strong emotions. the garden is spectacular. The interiors are a bit mystical and the staff are not all friendly.
An island that is all a hotel that looks like a palace. Magnificent and very prestigious. There is a spa that includes a dry and wet sauna and a gym. There is an outdoor pool, a 3-hole golf course, a tennis court. Accessories can be borrowed from the lifeguard. There is a shuttle that leaves every 20-30 minutes to the center of Venice and back from morning until 12 at night. Luxurious and sumptuous breakfast. Courteous staff, restaurants throughout the hotel. On the island there is only the hotel. It is highly recommended!!!
Beautiful location on an enchanting island in the Venetian lagoon. But too secluded place, you have to take the water shuttle or taxi to San Marco in 10 minutes. For the same price there is much better in Venice without being isolated if you want to move autonomously. If one wants instead the maximum tranquility immersed in silence then it is the right choice
Excellent service, beautiful hotel and an ideal location. A picnic with the right flowers and the bed of roses the evening after were mastered with bravura. A successful engagement surprise. Many thanks to the entire team.
Superb hotel on condition of requiring a lagoon and park view room Noisy pool at this time Expensive services ... Perfect concierge Home to improve unworthy of a 5 star BE CAREFUL in particular at the landing stage of the shuttle in San Marco, which is extremely dangerous at night, steps not lit ... The risk is obvious for the customers and known to the hotelier !!!
Private island, free frequent transport to the city on a schedule. For guests of the hotel free tour to the glass factory Murano. There is a small gym. The pool is not big, but there was enough space for everyone.
Luxury location located on an island where privacy is protected. Restaurant with excellent cuisine. Excellent and refined gourmet dishes. Qualified staff.
Amazing place to stay! Beautiful building, grounds, and accommodations. The staff was super helpful as well. Our early morning water taxi was unable to operate due to heavy fog, but the front desk staff managed to get us on another in time to get our train.
Only negatives are: the food is over priced and not nearly as good as the local fair in Venice; the air conditioning shuts down on Oct. 1st; and our bill included a donation already itemized we had to verbally opt out of (which I thought was presumptuous, since I know nothing about that charity).
I was lucky enough to spend my honeymoon on this lovely island and it could not have been better. As soon as my wife and I set foot on the island we were treated with the utmost respect. The service is unparalleled and the property is even better in person than the hours I spent ogling over pictures online. I'd be lucky to stay here again!
Cooking on your honeymoon. Deluxe lagoon room + breakfast included for 130,000 yen. The sea seen from the room is beautiful, and the room is large and clean.
I played a lot in the pool.
However, you don't have to force yourself to go to a high-class room because you can enjoy the same space in a 40,000-class room.
Next time I would like to stay in a normal room and play tennis.
We went to cruise and used last day. From the moment we moved to the shuttle boat from the main island, "Wow ~~" it was the best place to rest, like fresh grass and castles. I will spend more time there when I next travel to Venice.
Very kind staff, well-tended garden, with the Rose Antica Moceniga, of the Counts of Mocenigo, rediscovered by the noble journalist writer Andrea di Robilant, a fragrant rose with flowering until October.
Wow wow wow second time in this hotel. Best in Venezia!!! Huge noble unique!!! Plenty breakfast, good spa, green garden. Strongly recommended to visit !!
Beautiful facility filled with luxury and beauty. Very helpful, courteous and friendly staff. Accessible by hotel's boat or water taxi, 15 minutes from Venice. Groomed gardens with beautiful status are peaceful and serene. Breakfast buffet is diverse and well presented. Overall, a wonderful experience.
We enjoyed our two nights stay. The complimentary boat ride to St Mark s square is very convenient and enjoyable. Rooms are nice. Breakfast was awesome!!
Top Hotel close to Venice main island. 15 min by boat taxi. Private island with tennis court and pool. Luxury rooms, awesome food and nice drinks. Special thanks to Costi, great guy
Venice is a beautiful and unique city, but also VERY crowded. This hotel is the perfect escape just a short boat ride away from the hustle and bustle of St Marks Square. The grounds of this hotel are absolutely beautiful. The perfect place to relax and enjoy a Bellini or a Rossini. The rooms are a bit small as you can expect from an Italian hotel, but they are decorated wonderfully and the views are outstanding.
The hotel is on a private island (San Clemente) in front of Venice. With the free hotel shuttle boat (departure every 30 minutes) is in 15 minutes. at St. Mark's Square (Piazza San Marco). The hotel area is beautiful, you can recover from the hustle and bustle in Venice.
I had the pleasure of staying at San Clemente Palace Kempinski in Venice with my girlfriend. I highly recommend this wonderful establishment. The staff is forthcoming, and the island offers the perfect getaway from an otherwise very busy Venice, with boat rides every 20 minutes to and from the island. We were generously upgraded to the "Venice suite", which is a gorgeous and spacious room. If you are lucky, you might even see the hotel's mascot "Clemente" - a beautiful white rabbit that roams the island. :-) We would like to thank the kind team at the hotel for the lovely stay and hope to come again one day!
