Was here on my honeymoon and it was incredible. We had Haydee as a butler and she was amazing and I would highly recommend her as a butler. The place is really awesome and we had a great time. A few bumps were taken care of from the beginning. I will be staying there again.

We went here for our honeymoon in 2012. We loved it, but it has been too commercialized. The orange swimming buoys around the entire property and the non stop jet skis whizzing around are obnoxious. One would expect more peace and quiet for such a highly rated property.

My wife and I took a two week journey through the islands with the St Regis being a four day stop for us. The villas are quite nice with some very good views. The rooms are starting to get worn a bit as we had a few broken things in ours but nothing to drastic.

The service showed signs of greatness and then at other times we were entirely ignored. The check-in and check out process is spot on. I couldn't have asked for anything more. On the negative side we were introduced to our "butler" on night one and then we never saw her again. It was very disappointing to see other couples "butlers" meeting up with them at breakfast and helping them plan their days events. Don't get me wrong I could pick-up the phone and call for service any time I wanted but for the rates being paid I shouldn't be chasing down service related items. There were three different occasions on this trip where my wife had to wait over 20 minutes to get a check from the pool service area during the day time. At night the service at the bar dining area was exceptional.

The two most surprising thing my wife and I encountered were the number of toddlers present at the resort. We may have falsely assumed this would be a more quiet and adult location. Every morning at breakfast there were no less than 10 screaming kids. My wife and I scheduled a romantic dinner at the French restaurant later in the evening expecting a nice quiet evening. At almost 9 pm a toddler is seated right next to us and began to scream the entire meal. The other funny thing is that the pool that allows children has a swim up bar and full alcohol service. At the adult pool there is no bar or food unless you order it delivered. Why you would have a full service bar for kids is beyond me. The second most surprising thing was when the staff started banging outside the villa every morning around 7 am. They stock some wood cabinets with towels etc for the maids. They bang the cabinets like they are bongos. Needless to say it is extremely loud, so don't expect to sleep in.

Throughout our two week journey we stayed at 5 different hotels. I always judge hotels on the value of the experience they provide my wife and I. For those reason I would rate this place at three stars since there is definite room for improvement.

Terrible experience. This is a self-claimed luxury beach resort who only offer four small bottles of fresh water per day; otherwise you have to pay for FRESH WATER. The breakfast is definitely the five star accommodation with the least options and poorest quality that I have ever experienced. (The bakery is nevertheless good thanks to the French tradition) Also, we once placed an lunch order for in-room dining and they forgot our order! However, this is not the worst yet. We stayed there for six nights, two out of which were completely ruined by the DISCO music at the restaurant. We were traveling with two kids( 3 yo and 7mo) and they put us to the vila right next to the music WITHOUT any prior notice of the noise (except a notice of hotel program). Most staff here were nice and helpful but there are definitely some very rude and snobbish.

We stayed four nights here and this is definitely one of the most beautiful resorts we've been! The hotel amenities are amazing, especially we were able to snorkel in the hotel lagoon. And the main beach offers complementary paddles, kayak, and canoe! So much fun!

This was the most amazing resort. The butlers were extremely helpful and friendly. They would pop up almost automatically when you needed anything. The Beach boys were equally helpful. A mere twitch in the lounger and they'd be at your side ready to take a drink order, get a fresh towel or tilt your chair ever so slightly. Lots of complimentary beach activities (outrigger canoe, kayak, SUPs, snorkeling). I thought the lagoonarium would be lame but it was well stocked and enjoyable. Food and drinks are pricey ($20-30 for a cocktail, $40-60 for an entree, $37 for a hamburger). You can take a boat into town during the day for free or $25pp at night. Buying the meal plan (at least breakfast) helps. Not a lot of kids (which we loved). Note that the snorkeling off the bungalow and beach are awful. Nothing but sand and no fish. If that's your goal, book at least one trip with Lagoon Service. Swimming with sharks, rays and the coral gardens was my favorite memory.

WOW! This place is amazing. My wife and I went for our honeymoon and were wowed from the minute we walked off the plane in Bora Bora Airport!
We were met at the dock by our Butler Tuarai and he proceeded to take us to the check in. We were promptly greeted there by Robert Schilling the General Manager, who was amazing and welcoming. Our amazing Butler then took us on a tour of the property and helped us book our plans for the week. (We had already booked most of them with our amazing Agency Pacific for less!)
Property - This is by far one of the best properties I have ever been too in the entire world. This place is second to none. I am an avid traveler and this place takes the cake. This is paradise... I could tell you how clear the water is... How lush the grounds are... How beautiful their lagoon is.... But I strongly feel that no pictures or words will not do it justice at all!!!
Rooms - We had Room 302 - This room was at the very end of the resort and it could not be more perfect. This overwater Villa was amazing. Yes, there is some wear and tear... but that only adds to the charm of being in paradise. I don't want to be here and have all the technology of a city room... YOU ARE IN PARADISE... RELAX AND ENJOY!!! These are the biggest and elegant rooms in Bora Bora. The bed was great. The bathroom was perfect with views of the water. Living room was nice and Patio was amazing with a shower attached to rinse off after swimming.
Butler Service - We were on our Honeymoon so we saw and heard from our butler the perfect amount of time. He would meet us at breakfast everyday and check in to see if we needed anything. He was really good at not overdoing it. On the last day he was not going to be there so he made sure to introduce the young lady who took over for him and she was great as well.
Staff - WOW! They really treated us like family! I don't recall anyone on the entire resort that did not address us by our name... It was really cool. They really go above and beyond.. From Matira at Breakfast to the Beach Boys and the Bartenders... Even other Butlers would stop to say hi.
FOOD - The food was really Good! It's an island people... Don't expect the best food in the world on a remote island. I think the best was the French and Italian restaurants...

DOWNSIDE - The only downside is that we left...

Booked our 10 year anniversary trip here. Since we both are in the medical field we canceled well before our cancelation policy. Now they will not refund our money for a year!!! Beyond ridiculous and ironically the resort is now closed through our stay and they still won t. Poor customer service and we will be changing from Marriott brands.

Best resort ever. Excellent customer service. Most amazing scenic views, so relaxing. Loved riding the beach bikes around when we wanted to just for fun. The food at the resort was amazing. Their attention to detail is phenomenal. I wish we could go back soon. We went for our honeymoon and one week was not long enough! We did half in Moorea and half at St. Regis, and wished we would've stayed longer!

From the moment they picked us up from the airport we knew we made the right choice in selecting the best hotel for this experience. The entire staff was very professional and always ensured our stay was as perfect as possible. Whether it was room service or dining at the restaurants, the St. Regis staff made sure to provide whatever was needed prior to asking. The Butlers, waitstaff, concierge, and front desk staff all worked as a team to make any accommodations necessary. Only complaint was we had to wait until 3:00 PM to receive our room the day we arrived; we arrived at 10:00 AM. Needless to say we were very uncomfortable on this extremely humid day and had to cancel our activities as a result; we needed a shower after that long flight. Even though we didn't complain, they did allow us to use their Royal Beach Front Suite while we waited for our late departure. 40 acre resort which you can tour by walking, biking, or having the staff drive you in a golf cart, provides you the opportunity to visit the spa, swim in the lagoon (tranquil place with many fish awimm I no around), or visit the beach.

*Our stay was in a deluxe, over water hut with mountain view. Room 116. Great room, sting ray and fish all around our dock.

Overall - We will be coming here again as it was their staff who made stressing here exceptional. Mauruuru Bora Bora!

I stayed here with my family and friends back in February. It was a vacation we splurged on, so I am intentionally writing this review nearly 6 months later so I can emphasize how worth it was to stay at the St Regis. Here we are almost half a year later and this is still the place that my wife and friends and I cannot stop talking about. It was paradise in every sense of the word.

Right from the beginning, the staff here is incredible and so polished. I still remember names of some of the amazing staff, from Stacey in reservations who went above and beyond to make sure we had a seamless check-in experience, Olivier the front manager who was incredibly professional and not only surprised us with a very generous spg platinum upgrade but spoke to us as if we were close friends or family and got my baby daughter a classic St Regis stuffed turtle which she still loves to play with. There was also Novelya our butler who made sure we had everything needed and was amazing, and then of course the pool guy Reuben who was so funny and friendly and provided just stellar service when getting us drinks and food. Every interaction with the staff was so warm and I was amazed by how well they took the effort to know not only my name, but also the names of my friends and family members.
The hotel itself is beyond beautiful. it is in my opinion the best location in Bora Bora particularly because of the view of the Mountain which cannot be beat. The villas are all spacious and private, yet still manage to be decorated well and incorporate beautiful art. Like I mentioned my wife and baby were traveling with my close friends and their baby. We received a generous spg platinum upgrade to the 2 bedroom overwater villa for our last couple nights which was the coolest "hotel room" if you can even call it that, any of us have ever stayed in. We all are dying to go back

There are so many other great things I could say about the St Regis, but I'll leave it at I'm convinced it will extremely difficult for another place to top the experience we had here. If you are on the fence about where to stay, just stay here. I promise you will not regret it.

We were so sad to leave, my wife even started to tear up haha. We cannot wait to come back and experience it all again!
