I can't think of one bad thing to say about Skylar's. Wonderful customer service, great product and affordable! I definitely will be coming back for more furniture in the future.

Absolutely perfect service. The sofa was delivered a lot earlier than we anticipated, despite the fact that it was special order. We were amazed. We can also highly recommend sales person, Virginia Foley. Extremely competent and knowledgable.

We worked with Jenna at Skyar's. She was attentive, patient, had great ideas, and overall great customer service. She even came to our home to take measurements. Jenna really listened and understood what we wanted. We have not gotten the furniture yet (just ordered it). but I know we will love it and can't wait to see what it looks like in our home. Jenna was a pleasure to work with!

Outdoor patio furniture is super comfortable and American made! Would recommend Skylars to anyone looking for quality furniture.

I love Skylar's! I've used them twice for big furniture purchases. Our couch, bedroom set, and all of our outdoor furniture. From the sales team to delivery team, every person is so helpful and friendly. I love that this is locally owned and family run. Highly recommend it!

I purchased a couch less than one year ago and the fabric has not held up due to poor quality. As seen in the pics, within 6 months of purchase, the fabric has loose threads and and is pilling. I spoke with a local reupholstery service and they confirmed that the weave of the fabric was too loose to be used on furniture. I exchanged emails with Alex @ Skylar and the following was their suggested resolution: In reference to our previous conversation for your sofa, we have been informed by the manufacturer that unfortunately, they are not able to warranty fabrics. Conversely, the pillows are able to be fixed free of charge. You may either purchase a fabric shaver which should alleviate the issue with the pilling, or we can offer you the [price] of $570.00 to reupholster the entire sofa. Suggesting that I purchase a fabric shaver (which I have tried; pics are after trying) or pay half of the original cost (~$1,100) of the couch is not satisfactory. Summary: I would steer clear and purchase from a store that stands behind their furniture. A couch should not have these issues starting within 6 months of purchase.

Skylar's is an awesome place to go get some west coast style furniture. Up to date on the trendy aspect of restoration hardware style with a twist of modern. The sectionals were the best priced in North County, I look all over and Skylar cut me a deal that I could not refuse. I will be back for patio furniture because they have a huge collection and I am sure I can squeeze another good price out of them.

Wonderful customer service/team but after a year we re already in the market for a new couch. The material just hasn t held up despite it only being used by 2 adults and a gentle dog (who doesn t use it very much). I wanted to so badly be happy with it because I love the family feel of the store but just really disappointed and feel like we wasted $1700.

Stopped in to look for some patio furniture and basically everything in the entire store was sold. Nothing really stuck out to me as an amazing find or high quality craftsmanship. Prices are really high and I can not figure out why really.

Skylar was so helpful! He helped us figure out the design and layout for our living room to give it a more open concept. He made my life easier so I didnt have to think to much; Theres more then just furniture here as theres specialist here that know what there doing and what looks good, and they know there products! Thanks for hooking us up and for the new living room!

I have never walked into a furniture shop and actually planned my whole house out within the first 3 minutes of being in there. (: I was so amazed by the different lines that Skylar's has to offer! Not only that but Skylar, Brent, and Sunny and the rest of the staff were the most helpful people i've ever met! They are not pushy, they are knowledgeable about their products and can offer both personal and first hand testimonials. My husband and I went in to buy a bed and we were out of there within 30 minutes and felt soo soo taken care of, it was so pleasurable. I will be going back and most likely buying all those pieces i picked out on my first trip there. Thank you immensely to the staff at Skylar's for everything!

I could not be more happy with all of the patio furniture that I purchased from Skylars. I dealt with Nicole from the sales side, and she was awesome about working with me to figure out which furniture and manufacturer would offer me the best look and solutions for my backyard. Nicole and Alex also worked very hard to match the best price available anywhere, and to get me everything that I needed within my budget. Skylars is family owned, and I truly felt that they all went above and beyond to help me with every step of the project from the evaluation, to the purchase, delivery and set-up. I cannot recommend Skylars enough, and will definitely go back whenever I need anything.

They are professional and super helpful. I have bought both outdoor furniture and indoor furniture. Everything is well made and great prices too!! Local SD family owned is the cherry on a fabulous cake!!

Skylars is my favorite shop in Carlsbad. Not only does it carry rustic, warm, but modern style of furniture, you can mix and match any piece to suit your style. Every time I went there, the staff went over the top to give me detailed info on their products, and provide free design consultation! I recommend this place to everyone who is looking for a cool boutique experience, without the extreme price tag.

Fantastic service from all points of the purchase. Sales staff, and delivery personnel were very courteous and helpful. Dresser and Simmons mattress were better than expected after installation. Do yourself a favor and buy local from Skylar's Home and Patio!

My husband and I recently purchased a patio dining set, barstools, and outdoor sofas from Skylar's and we were so impressed!! The quality, price, and service were unbelievable!! I will be purchasing everything from Skylars!! Do yourself a favor and show Skylar or any employee what you are looking for and they will find it - and most likely for a better price!! My boyfriend and I traveled all around San Diego County looking for perfect patio furniture for our new condo. We made the perfect mistake of going to Skylar's first, so everything paled in comparison following our visit. After weeks of shopping around, we ended up returning to Skylar's and purchasing the perfect patio furniture set for the two of us. Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable - particularly Virginia! She's God's gift to patio furniture! The store is clean and pristine and they have such a wide selection of options! Honestly, any other patio furniture we saw elsewhere was just a bitter disappointment. I highly recommend this location as your go-to location for all your patio needs!

Skylar's Home & Patio is one of the most beautiful and reasonably priced showrooms I have ever seen for home furnishings. The staff is extremely knowledgable and friendly, which helps make the buying experience that much more enjoyable. It's so nice to get such great products for a fair price and not at a big box store! My husband is extremely tall and we were in the market for a custom couch that would comfortably fit his frame as well as our living room. Skylar's delivered!! We ordered a beautiful piece that would comfortably fit any frame and looks gorgeous in our room! They even have the most beautiful selection of fashionable throw pillows to really brighten up any room! We would highly recommend Skylar's Home & Patio to anyone looking for home furnishings. What a wonderful experience!

My husband and I live in Carlsbad Village and noticed when this store opened a year or two ago. When ever we walked by we would always go in to see what new furniture, decorations and wall art they had. Before we bought our sectional from Skylar's we had purchased some beautiful wall art that are tropical wood carvings. They were such a find, and were a great deal - we always get so many complements on them when people are over.

We recently remodeled our house and were in the market for some large items as well. What we have always liked about Skylar's is that the staff is always so friendly, non pushy, and very accommodating. There were several couches we liked over a several month period, and they would always let us take some of the fabrics home for a few hours to see if it went with our decor. We had been in the market for a new couch, but not in a hurry to buy. Over several months we went to so many furniture stores, but we always went back to Skylar's, we felt that the quality of their sectionals were at a much higher level, and their prices were really good. They also had so much variety in the fabric that you could choose from. We ended up purchasing a fairly large sectional, and Skylar's as great in working with our dimensions, and making the sectional fit to our living room. The sectional was ready for us within the time period stated (under 2 weeks), and when we had trouble borrowing a truck to go and pick it up, Skylar himself said that since we lived so close to the store, that they would drop off the sectional for us. Talk about going above and beyond for your clients! This is a huge reason why it is so great to buy from the local, smaller guys - Skylar and another person delivered it themselves, and were absolutely amazing to work with. They didn't ask for any additional payments for the delivery, just asked us to stop by if we needed any additional furniture.... and we definitely will. If you want quality furniture, and great prices, good variety and working with people who know their stuff.... then this is the place to go.

Love this place. It s my new go-to spot for all furniture. Just bought some new patio furniture! So stoked- now we are going to be ready for summer entertaining in the backyard. Very happy with the experience I had at Skylar's Home & Patio. Toughest part was selecting the color from all the custom options.

I highly recommend checking out this business. They treated me with respect and didn't try to sell me anything I didn't want or need. I had the opposite experience when I went to one of the generic furniture stores in San Marcos.

I prefer shopping at locally owned businesses when possible and I got a better deal here than I could find online. This place is awesome!

I have dealt with Skylar's Home and Patio multiple times. I am a returning happy customer for a variety of reasons. First and foremost, I felt that they always had my best interests at hand, and really listened to help me find EXACTLY what I was looking for, and get me the right price. I have dealt directly with the owners Skylar and Brent as well as a few of their sales associates. During my last purchase (I bed frame and two end tables) I was helped by Priscilla who made my purchase easy and effortless. The furniture was delivered and my wife and I couldn't be happier. I am a realtor and have referred multiple clients to them as well. When you go to Skylar's Home and Patio, expect nothing but the best!

Really impressed with this store. We bought a sectional here vs. one of the main stream stores - the service was excellent and even a few years on when stuff was spilled on the sofa the insurance policy we took out was valid and a team came out to thoroughly clean the sofa. Would highly recommend.

Skylar's Home and Patio has the best furniture at the greatest price. I went looking for a queen mattress and bed frame and ended up purchasing a sectional couch and end tables. They really do have a wide array of unique furnishings built with excellent quality at very fair prices. The staff is very friendly and helpful, great family feel at a family owned business. We bought our sofa at Skylar's on a visit to Carlsbad Spring of 2016. The sofa in the window caught our eye and we went in the store. After looking at several great sofas we ended up buying the one in the window. We live about a 2 hour drive from the store, so they made all the arrangement to deliver our sofa. It was smooth and seamless from the transactions at the store to receiving our sofa. Its been 2 years now and our sofa still looks brand new. And it gets a lot of wear as it is in our family room. We are and were very happy with the service of the salesperson and quality of the sofa.

What a fun experience and some great deals. Got to meet Skylar himself what an awesome dude. They were willing to meet my price range and i went home stoked!

Nice selection of outdoor furniture. Love the Breevista rocker. It's made from recycled plastic so it doesn't fade or rust. Very comfortable. Sales associates were helpful and friendly. This site also has home furniture. Very nice store. Clean and well organized.
