St. luke's cornwall hospital Review

Using my fiances acct.... but; Tried to go in the ER with my friend this evening and was told I could "stay in the waiting room but can't go back in a room with him". Why you ask? Because I only have my 1st vaccine. Does this make sense to anyone???? Corral all the unvaccinated and half vaccinated people in the waiting room on top of each other instead of sending them back into a private room with the patient they came in with. This place is out of touch with reality.

My husband had a procedure which required an overnight stay. He received excellent care. The nurses were all kind, compassionate, efficient, professional, and it was obvious that they loved what they were doing. Everybody we came in contact with (security guard, housekeeping, etc) were all helpful and professional. We were very pleased with the quality of care at St. Luke's.

My husband spent many weeks at this hospital before his death. The care he received was fantastic. The entire staff, including the cleaners, the kitchen staff, the support staff and all of the nurses and doctors were personal, caring and thorough. We were so grateful that, even now after my husbands death a year later, it feels good to thank them all!!

I know they are understaffed for customer service and are challenged regardng office management. However as a patient. (Montefiore Medical Group) I can not tell how poor this place run. ERRORS, misinformation and no follow up. You call and they never pick up phone, you are advised to leave a message and they will call you back. NEVER happens, I placed mutiple calls no return. Sad as I was very happy with the Nursing staff and my Doctor was very good.

It s extremely concerning the lack of communication this place has. Prepare to waste an entire day, be frustrated and lied too.

I had the best experience at the labor and delivery department! Staff exceeded my expectations and I will never forget how attentive and knowledgeable everyone was. Thank you so much for making my birthing experience the absolute best!

The Emergency Room was so kind, caring, and efficient to us this morning. My father was treated quickly and with such respect! Thank you all! We are back in NH safely.

Don t ever go to the emergency room here - its Trauma status should be downgraded so ambulance is not forced to take you here - patient went in after motorcycle accident - they did not clean out or bandage his wounds, did not give him antibiotics, did not give him tetanus shot even though doctor came in and said they would, did not pull out his IV before he was leaving - he had to tell them to do it, but most of all these INCOMPETENT doctors discharged him after about 5 hours and said he had only soft tissue damage based on their review of mri and xrays - he was in pain and went to his regular doctor 2 days late who said he had fractured clavicle and ribs - how do you possibly miss that St Luke s!!!!! NEVER go there if you want competent care - this is bad hospital with bad reputation that has not changed with the name change from Newburgh to Cornwall -

I spent 10 days in St Luke's. I forgot I was in a hospital! Had a gran Man Seizure. The Nurses & Dr's. were great. It was like a vacation. Private room, TV, Phone, 3 meals a day, (which the food was good) the staff wonderful. To top it all off, a Beautiful view of The Hudson River! I took so many pics. Honestly. I couldn't pay for such a relaxing, nice time!!
