Don t ever go to the emergency room here - its Trauma status should be downgraded so ambulance is not forced to take you here - patient went in after motorcycle accident - they did not clean out or bandage his wounds, did not give him antibiotics, did not give him tetanus shot even though doctor came in and said they would, did not pull out his IV before he was leaving - he had to tell them to do it, but most of all these INCOMPETENT doctors discharged him after about 5 hours and said he had only soft tissue damage based on their review of mri and xrays - he was in pain and went to his regular doctor 2 days late who said he had fractured clavicle and ribs - how do you possibly miss that St Luke s!!!!! NEVER go there if you want competent care - this is bad hospital with bad reputation that has not changed with the name change from Newburgh to Cornwall -
