Refuse to give me information on student application Bc I m a student found them very rude and unhelpful

St. Lucie County school district and any other governmental entity are terribly disorganized. It is very disappointing to me as a parent that I have to depend on this people to let me know what school my children would be attending to. It is absurd that when I call to find out the status of my application I immediately get dismissed with "I have to wait or that there is a 11 year waitlist to attend a school" rather than taking my name or children's name and doing their JOB to look at my file to let me know where I stand as of now. It is July 27 and I have yet to know where my kids are going. I cannot believe how lazy humans have become and on top of that the rudeness that comes with it. This is ridiculous someone with authority needs to really take at how things are being handled with the school system (not so much system). I can't even find the country of where my step son was born in the so called user friendly application. This is just ridiculous. Plus having to wait more than 5 minutes to obtain technical help. Very disappointing.

Good schools but why do the kids still have to wear masks when the state lifted the mask mandate? Seems like they do what they want

Teachers were not allowed to give/TOLD that NO student should receive a F for their Final Grade. Lots of grades given were FAKE GRADES...Lots of students did absolutely NO WORK. But, received passing Grades. They are LAIRS & CHEATERS.. They are all about numbers not students success. No different than was GA Admin & Teachers did....

Good first impression with their open building. There were gloves and sanitizer by the main entrance. The 3 ladies at the reception were full of smiles and politeness. Face mask was required for entry atthis time and I am absolutely okay with that. One of the HR ladies i spoke to sounded proud of the school district. That was great to hear. Over all, nice office.

I've never experienced such horrible customer service. So much so that I felt moved to leave a review. This school district needs an upgrade. I am from a different school district and PSLSD is stuck in the ICE AGE. It is beyond difficult to get in contact with anyone. My child has no idea how to utilize any of the systems because nothing was properly communicated. I had to call multiple times to expedite their process. The application process is tiring because it leaves you in the dark. I also feel as though it would be beneficial if all employees went through diversity training as well as customer service training because whewwww. An employee rushed me off the phone because she "had work to do." EXCUSE ME??? I can't lie, I gave her two words respectfully because am I not a guardian looking for information? If I am being mistreated, how can I trust you with my child? I would LOVE to go back to my old district because this one is for the birds. Vultures. This one is for the vultures.

The department of education does not care! Neither does the state of Florida! I find that the district let us down. Stand up for your community.
My children and I have been quarantining since last March. No grocery store, no parks, no play dates with their grandparents. I have several diseases that deem me severely compromised. Yet I am supposed to send my three children into the school building for a test? Where there will be adults and children who I do not know. My kids have listened to others talk about going on vacations and to parties. They are out of my safety zone and need to protect myself. This is not worth my life. What will the district do if something happens to me? There are no accommodations in place for people in situations like mine. Not to mention how difficult it is to teach, when you are not a teacher. Especially with three young children. These tests that parents seem to forget are useless and are just there for funding for the schools. So until I am vaccinated my children will NOT BE ATTENDING FSA NOR WILL SOMEONE COME TO MY HOME.
You all should have prepared for this. The meeting for the elementary schools was held yesterday. Nothing got the middle schoolers.
When I called my child s school, I was told that they didn t know that was going on yet. How are we suppose to function? Jump on a whim!? Get it together.

Website is NOT user friendly. If you're going to push everyone to do everything online you HAVE to streamline the process - making it easy to understand, defining terms, etc. Was on hold for 30+ minutes until I decided to hang up.

I walked in. Asked for help, got it immediately. They took my temperature, then pointed me in the direction I needed to be in. Student Assignment was efficient. Young lady that helped me was very kind, courteous and professional. Proficient and came back with in a matter of minutes with an answer/solution.
I would like to acknowledge, I believe her name to be Ms. Milford for being the wonderful person who was very helpful.

I would not even give them a star, they never ever help out
