Saw the Spirit Bear movie in the new Omnimax theater. What a great place to watch some amazing films. Also saw the DaVinci exhibit. The exhibit was presented in a way that allowed you to take as much time as you needed to read the information and look at and sometimes touch each presentation. So much to see and do at our Science Center. Great place to spend the day any time of the year.

Really wish they'd change more about the place. I've seen the same stuff since I was 3 years old. Nobody wants to see the dinosaur anymore. Renovate the place more PLEASE.
Loved the video game and space stuff they added.
Still needs more.

The Saint Louis Science Center is an extremely cool place to visit no matter what age you are. They excel at making learning fun and exciting. Admission is always free, but they do offer some attractions which have a small fee. I have found every one of them to be worth the price of the ticket. You must check out the Simulators and the IMAX Theater. Constantly changing, growing and evolving, you will find every visit is different from the last. ** This review has been viewed almost 500 times in one week. Place was awesome ! Would have given it 5 stars, but the a-hole running the flying the Piper Cubs was very rude to my grandson because he is soft spoken. I had to walk away and not make a scene.

Love this place it is free to get in though parking is $12. They have cafe's for you to enjoy and so much for kids to enjoy. They also have movies that you can pay to watch for 2 hours

Bought a 2 person annual membership for the Max $140 (on sale). Used it today to attend the renovated IMAX to see Bears of the Rainforest. Free parking and 20 % off food coupon. Wonderful. Great staff and lots of fun for everyone. Looking forward to using the pass.

We loved the DaVinci exhibit & the museum was very clean, well laid out, not too many people there & our kids had a great time! Plenty of stuff to see to warrant a year membership too...we can't wait to go back!

The science museum is a good visit for early elementary through high school students (and adults too). The exhibits are interactive, and fun. They cover a variety of topics from energy to space exploration. They even have an exhibit on video games (with plenty of video games to play). Just be ready for all the "extra" experiences like VR, motion rides, and movie theater.

Very nice interactive museum, but disappointed with the Pompeii exhibit. The lightning was awful- could not read the placards without a flashlight. Seating was so low only small children could rest without feeling like you were sitting on the floor. Interesting material but the experience was not worth the admission price.

My family always enjoys our trips to the Science Center. They have enough things to do to keep every age interested in something they offer. The bridge across the highway is a favorite of our because you can look down from inside and see the traffic going by.

My son love going to the Science Center but the humps and dips throughout the Science Center(which I have never notice until after my surgery) especially the ones within the Forest Park entrance, was difficult to climb with a small stroller after walking the entire center twice (WARNING: Calves will lock up afterward lol) but overall me and the kiddos still LOVE this center. It's awesome, what not to love!

This is the kind of place both kids and adults will enjoy bonding together while learning at the same time.

Admission is free. The only time you ll need to purchase tickets is when you go to special shows like the Star Show in their Planetarium. I wanted to share photos but phone and tablet use are not allowed inside as the program in the planetarium goes on. They have a movie theater here (not sure if it s IMAX) here as well.

In case you go hungry, they have a food court in the lower floor and a concession in the 3rd floor. It s very enjoyable. I highly recommend the Star Show if you re a fan of planets and galaxies.

The latest exhibit about games is really fun. I went 2 days in a row. It's free. They have a games for everyone; video games, board games, games where you use your body to play. It's fun for all ages. You can easily spend a few hours in the exhibit. Outdoors there's an exhibit about farming in Missouri and Illinois that's quite fascinating. They have soil samples from all over the U.S. I had no idea they were all different.

Lots of interactive exhibits for all. My teenager, who is a self described "science nerd", loved it! Wish we had planned more tine in order to see the limited time exhibit "Pompeii". Plan to spend several hours if you want to go to the regular and special exhibits!!

Always a good time, especially the "hamster wheel" (at the Energizer exhibit). Most recently we especially enjoyed the Halloween Event and OMG Josh was absolutely phenomenal! Educational, so funny, and really engaged the kids (& adults).

The kids center is a very nice add on but I didn't know why the adults had to pay to get in too it wasn't like we were doing the coloring but ok. It's all almost the exact same things for when I was a little kid; but now no people doing cool little experiments or showing you things. As a kid that was amazing. I didn't feel like there was anything there to grasp into the kids of today. I'm thinking it needs an upgrade.

The center is enjoyable for the entire family. My children range in age from 15 to 2. They have out door and in door activities. Its educational for the entire family... Several levels and tons of activities. I'd recommend the STL Science center to locals or anyone visiting.

Went for the Pompeii exhibit which was fantastic. I was very disappointed with most of the staff, including the ticket seller, the security guard who was at the info desk, and another woman at the desk. All were very short with me and not very helpful.

The science center is a great place to learn and discover with your kids. Everything is interactive and fun. It always seems to be clean. Most of it is free, including some of the shows! The paid exhibits and shows are high quality, like the "live sky tonight" and the temporary exhibition on Pompeii.

Pompeii is definitely a chilling experience and they have actual artifacts and casts from the archeological cite. I'd say not great for young kids but a powerful experience for me as an adult, and probably older kids too.

Definitely beyond my toddlers, but it kept them fascinated enough while my husband and I checked it out. He had never been there, but I had as a teenager and it really made an impression on me, so it was worth sharing that experience with him! Definitely a place to expand curiosity and make memories.

Considering all the restrictions right now, we had a great time. The facility was exceptionally clean, the staff was super friendly, and a lot of the activities were still available. We visited the Da Vinci exhibit and it was informative and fun.

This place is amazing. As someone who has been going there since I was a kid and seeing how much it's been updated and expanded through the years is great. There is so much to do and learn for both kids and adults. Best of all is it's free! There are things you can pay for but my nephews and I were there for 4 hours having a blast and only bought a snack.

The science center is free for everyone. There are a lot of activities geared towards kids and adults. I recently watched a documentary on the new Omnimax screen. It was a great experience.

Always a great time to be had. The Pompeii exhibit was heartbreaking and breathtaking at the same time. The omnimax showing of Volcanos was amazing. Every visit/experience has been new and so educational.

Another great St Louis venue that is family friendly with FREE admission to all. Planetarium, OmniMax Theater, honored by Parents Magazine and Forbes as one of the top science centers in the US. A few special exhibits have a small fee, (OmniMax, Discovery Room, and Planetarium) but there are acres of free exhibits to browse and interact with. You can spend a day or an hour here, it's free! Kids love the giant dinosaur. The OmniMax (fee charged) is a theater that has great movies with good choices for all ages. Many interesting and quirky exhibits! Fun!

So many great hands-on activities for the kids, and it's free. If you have a little one that is in to farm equipment, they have a pretty incredible farm area where kids can actually go into the cab of a combine. Note that the walk from here to the zoo might be a little far for toddlers.

I was kind of disappointed it seemed like everything my kids tried to do didn't work & I remember there being much cooler exhibits when I was younger but there was still plenty of things to check out

Absolutely love it, very energetic energy and great for the whole family. We take our nephews and niece and they never get tired of going. Would recommend for not just families but anyone.

Free general admission. Great interactive experience especially if you have kids. I would have like more human anatomy a large focus on space and dinosaurs along with engineering. Enjoyed our time.
