Great Venue for bands ,seating very uncomfortable they could've spent more money on investing on comfort for patrons after all the Seating Prices are extortionate

Had a ticket for Gorillaz un section 224. Visibility is not bad, but the speaker may get in the way

We went to see Shawn Mendes and it was great! The staff were really polite and helpful! Great venue and fantastic atmosphere, we had so much fun! Also there is a good number of hotels around to choose from in walking distance.

Nice and modern enormodome. Not bad as indoor arenas go

Great venue. Eat at one of the restaurants in the nearby Rotunda and park for free.

Went to see Kevin Bridges very funny and a great time.

Awful. The smell of chips and beer as you enter ruins any tiny sense of occasion that might linger. Ghastly overblown and thoroughly unpleasant. Concert? Might as well be a cinema. No sense of connection to the performers.

Great venue for concerts. Unobstructed and direct line views from all seats. Only criticism would be that they only sell Barr's soft-drinks.

Excellent arena with loads of food options available

No ladies sanitary machines or protection dispensers in loos.

Went to the Kiss concert and had a fantastic night it was my first time in the hydro, staff were very good and it has great facilities and there is a car park across the road from the hydro it cost me 11 pounds to park my car there and it took me 5 minutes to get to the motorway would recommend it

had VIP seating at the Take That concert not worth the money would of had a far better view of the amazing stage show from somewhere else. shame as tickets cost a fortune, and never for to experience the show for what it what it really was. very disappointed

Of course, it is the artist who decides whether the evening was successful, but also the arena and its staff are important. Entrance and exit passage worked extremely smoothly despite full arena. There was always plenty of staff to ask, with clear clothing. Many dishes for food and drink made the breaks easy to endure.

Great place, neat and tidy and staff are amazing. Shame it's a tad over price for the food which is luk warm when you get it. If your going to take a car I would avoid the multi storey car park or find a other mode of transport, very disorganised and very long wait to get in or out the place. Part from that still a great place to visit

Great venue for gigs, always a good atmosphere, but they need to be better (i.e. quicker) at letting people in to the venue. Queues outside are horrendous due to the time it takes for security staff to scan people's tickets at the doors - arrive early or you'll miss the start of your gig like I did!

Amazing experience and the staff seemed to love it! Highly recommended!

Was here for scentsy world tour 2019 to see products that were going live march 1st had an amazing time here, the staff were amazing as well

The sound here is first class better to sit around the middle tiers level 2 or 3 for a good view

People turning up late and constantly wanting passed when you trying to watch the show. Ruined. Have a set time and then close the doors. Not fair on others.

Visited this awesomely huge venue to see Still Game Live (2/2)
The arena is great if you are fit and able however, you might find access to the higher sections rather poorly served, with one, poorly signed, escalator being the only alternative to stair, stairs and yet more stairs.
Once in your seat however, the size adds to rather than detracts from the overall experience.
Next time, if I cant afford 'the stalls' I'm not going.

Remarkably this is the first time I've been to the Hydro and I was completely impressed by this venue, what a fantastic space to see and hear bands. The accoustics are second to none, the venue was perfectly accessible, plenty of space in the seats (I'm a big man and I was very comfortable) easy to get in and out of. Just a outstanding venue.

Amazing venue they need to make their audio a bit better balanced as it's too loud sometimes. The audio guys all have earplugs and put the sound for shows too loud sometimes.

Would be good if they had decibel measurements at each section so they know if your ears are being damaged lol...

The place could do better with more lifts that actually work. With COPD found all the stairs hard

Need to sort the bars out. Prices way too high and the staff, especially supervisors, very unhelpful and needlessly aggressive and confrontational.

The SSE Hydro is an event hall west of Glasgow city center. The hall is located along with the Clyde Auditorium concert theater on the Clyde River. The hall opened in 2013 and has space for around 13,000 spectators.

Great venue. Avoid parking. Expensive merchandise.

Went to see Ant Middleton which was a fantastic show. Venue is decent. We were front row seats so it did take us a long time to get out the venue after the event. All was clean etc though so nothing to complain about.

Incredible venue. Slow to get in though but once in the place is great. Atmosphere is always on point

Nice venue, but parking is way to expensive, and stairs difficult unless you are able.

Hydro is a great venue the staff who must be run off their feet are great and always very helpful. I just wish that something could be done about the people who think they can vape while in the venue when you try to say something about it they can get quite abusive.

Had a great night on Saturday seeing Noel Fitzpatrick Supervet

The place itself is great but if you park in car park I've twice had hassle from some homeless guy standing on the bottom of the stair way sell a magazine. Shouting and balling at everyone who goes past. But venue is great.

Went to Still Games final performance and had a great view from the second level and able to hear the actors clearly.

Far to big, hate having to try and get tickets to see your fav band in here, with they would go back to smaller venues, more days.

Good location for all sorts of venues.
Multi story Parking area within walking distance. Good

Big Hall to see some act that have managed to get further north than Manchester to do a gig.

Always enjoy my visits here..just wish i was able to access standing tickets easier.

Very busy but staff had everything moving like a well oiled machine, great experience loved the venue.

People were there to guide us on where to find our seats, the place is well designed too.

Comfortable and easy to get around. Needs a better entry system for wet weather. Choice of drinks and price at bars is poor.

Great venue place. Admission was fast, friendly staff. Got assistance for finding seats and our way around the place. Bar was also easily accessible. Only nuisance is that bags need to be taken to another building (however understandable security measure).

Great venue for music/ comedy. I have been a few times and will definitely be back. The stall food inside is expensive and poor quality. We usually eat somewhere else before we go. Staff have always been friendly and helpful.
