Arriving at Sri Villas has been like arriving in paradise: a dream beach, impeccable facilities and decorated with exquisite taste ... and what about the pool ... it makes you want to spend the day in its crystal clear waters.
The rooms are not lacking in detail, and the bathroom is one of the largest I have ever seen.
As for the food, simply wonderful, with quality ingredients and excellent presentation.
Carolyn and the entire Sri Villas team will make your stay an unforgettable experience for all your senses.

A fabulous and idyllic place combined with faultless and friendly service. Metres from a wide and almost empty beach. Lovely 23m swimming pool, sun loungers to relax and then delicious food.

Highly recommend this place! You will have paradise view, royal service and beautiful tan. Food is the best which we had near this location (we were at Amal Villa, Osteria Romana, Beach Club, Dulvin and etc).

Superb view, great location, comfy overall. I rated 4 because food did not deserve a star. Each and every other aspect was exceptionally good.
Food was not consistent in quality since there were great dishes and unacceptable dishes both. Almost all the desserts were disappointing. But fruits saved the day.
Service and staff was great too. Ideal for a relaxing weekend away by the beach.

Be sure to bring with you slippers for walking on corals and equipment for photo under water. Use public transport: cheap, free, often walks. Only on the oncoming :)

Paradise on earth! I have to admit I was slightly hesitant as there were some funky reviews from the past, but what made me give it a try were that those reviews were from some few years back and there were some that mentioned there is new management. I was working in Colombo and wanted a nice quiet weekend away with a great beach at my toes. This was exactly what I was looking for! I was so sad that I could only stay for the weekend. It is a a very well designed and extremely clean place. Air conditioning didn t have that musty smell that you get a lot in the bigger hotels. View of the ocean from your room. And it s like the waves were crashing at my door. It was so peaceful and beautiful! The pool was very clean and not murky at all. The staff were all very friendly. And don t even get me started on the food which was marvellous. While I was there I had the spicy calamari which I would highly recommend. The breakfast bap was also super delicious. Tiny details made all the difference. The set up for the dinner table with flowers and candles etc. Your meals can be served on your balcony overlooking the sea or by the pool. The staff closed the blinds and turned on the air con before sunset, I think to prevent mosquitos from getting in (was a concern of mine since I am pregnant), and the small snack they brought up to my room before dinner time. I really loved this place and would love to come back!

I attended a wedding at Sri Villas and it felt like a mini Greece setting! Its everything you want from an outdoor setting wedding. The only uncomfortable thing was having to eat in the dining hall with no aircon...

The property is stunning, the staff are polite and attentive, and the room we stayed in was great. However the food was very disappointing which really dampened our overall experience at Sri Villas.
We did our research prior to visiting and found all the reviews stating that the food at the villa was exceptional so naturally we had high expectations for our meals but ended up being extremely underwhelmed.
While my wife and I both enjoyed the Pumpkin Soup and Prawn Cocktail, all other dishes we had were less than average. The Prawn Wrap was extremely bland, and while the Spicy Calamari was nice it wasn t the best I ve had (considering the reviews I expected it to be much better). Also I personally found it was a bit unusual to be served just calamari without any sort of accompaniment as it was a main dish. Same for the wrap, perhaps a side of salad/ wedges would elevate the dish.
The Salmon and Pasta dishes we had for dinner were also far too basic and nothing that earns a raving review. Presentation of the dishes were nil.
Today s breakfast was possibly the worst out of the lot. English breakfast consisted of two slices of bread that was too hard to chew and a poached egg that was over-boiled and two sausages that were fine. To say the dish looked and tasted dull would be an understatement. The same goes for the French Toast my wife had.
It saddens us to have to send this email as we truly thought the venue was beautiful and was looking forward to spending our first wedding anniversary there but we re simply too disappointed with the food. To us the food adds significant value to any holiday experience as I m sure it does for most others too so we thought it important to voice our honest feedback about our stay at your venue.

This is the second time I have been to Sri Villas and would defiantly come back again. Great location for a family stay or as a group

This place is amazing and the people working here are wonderful. So calm, and the sunsets here are magical. The rooms are spacious/ huge and the decor is classy and well thought out. The beach is very long, perfect for long walks on the beach, its also very clean. Best words i can put together to describe this place are this is where green heaven meets the ocean

Place is ok, however, boring. View is nice but cook is very poor. Usually food was too salty.

not worth the money. You got a way better option going to those bigger hotels. The service quality from these kind of hotel are very inconsistent. Don't be supraised if you get dirty bed sheet or disgusting food. The view is OK, but pretty much every single hotel in that area got the same view. Just another budget hotel who branded himself as luxury resort so that they can charge more.
